Magwell located serrated magazine release. Left side of frame serrated slide release and safety. Barrel located gas adjustment screw. Rear adjustable and front fixed blade sight. Must ship to a FFL holder. Condition: Good/Very Good with light scratches and handling wear. The action does not always function properly. Last screw on top rib is missing. Grips do not stay affixed. The first Wildey Production Prototype Pistol

Description Wildey J. Moore had already taken orders for more than 15,000 Wildey Pistols as of 1979, but not yet begun production. The prototype process moved from Bellmore Johnson to Wildey and his team of engineers. Noted on pg 132 of "Wildey's Here" this is the first functioning production prototype made by Wildey in his shop. This Wildey "Survivor" Pistol bears a .44 bore diameter. With one removable magazine and a 10" top rib vented engraved barrel. Serial number EXP-B Wildey mentions the pistol being in front of him while he was writing the book about his life in the firearms business. Checkered premium wood grip plates. Polished stainless steel frame, serrated trigger, serrated hammer, serrated slide and barrel. Magwell located serrated magazine release. Left side of frame serrated slide release and de-cocking lever. Barrel located gas adjustment screw. Rear adjustable and front fixed blade sight. Must ship to a FFL holder. At one time produced in Jordan for Jordanian Armed forces, and possibly for export. Never produced in the US, no known examples of the Viper have been offered at public sale previously, and few exist in the United States. This Experimental Wildey JAWS Viper is chambered in .40 S&W with one, twelve round removable magazine and a 4.75" barrel. Black finished frame with pebble textured front strap and polymer wrap around grips. Textured slide release and ambidextrous push button magazine release. Double/single action trigger with exposed hammer. Blued serrated slide with ambidextrous manual safety. Blacked out rear U-notch and white dot front blade. Serialized EXP2 front left side of frame, Unmarked Slide, and Viper logo hammer. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity and one magazine. The magazine is marked "JAWS .40 S&W HIGH CAP RESTRICTED LAW ENFORCEMENT GOVERNMENT USE ONLY 91494". Must ship to FFL holder.
