WWII Japanese Admiral's Uniforms (2)

WWII Japanese Admiral's Uniforms, outstanding parade jacket with tails. Has heavily embroidered collar and double breasted buttons intact. Rank insignia on both cuffs. Ha...mores detachable shoulder boards. Inside liner shows wear and has some rips and tears by back collar. Jacket is named. See photos. Grouping also includes Admiral's frock coat. Also name inside. Lining in good condition. Shoulder boards are interchangeable. This is a rare opportunity to own an Admiral's uniform. They rarely come on the market!

WWII Japanese Named Naval Admiral's Hat

Lot # 2201 (Sale Order: 87 of 441)      

Spectacular set of Japanese Vice Admiral hat and shoulder boards in original carrying case in very good to excellent condition. Original fitted case has soiling and wear...more to outside but overall good condition. Brass plate on front of case believed to be name of officer. His name is "Jiro Ajima." Those are his rank shoulder boards. He graduated from the Navy's Accounting School on Oct 30, 1919. This was the Navy's 8th graduating class from the Accounting School. He was one of 22 graduates. He was given the rank of Ensign Candidate. On 11.14.1931, as a Lieutenant, he was assigned the head of the ship's accounting on the light cruiser YUBARA. On 8.1.1934, he was the head of accounting on the heavy cruiser CHOKAI. He was then the naval accountant for the "Shanghai Special Naval Landing Force" unit. On 12.1.1936, he was the naval accountant for the cruiser TAKAO. And then he disappears after that.
