Shipping Instructions: All firearms will be shipped within 10 business days of the auction or within 10 business days after full payment has been made and an FFL has been received. All items will be shipped USPS (POSTAL) with insurance and delivery confirmation. NO EXCEPTIONS. A minimal amount will be charged for boxes and packing materials.

US Residents ONLY. We are not licensed to and will not export firearms! All firearms, with the exception of black powders and BB guns, need to be shipped to a person with an FFL or C&R on applicable guns. C&R holders, know the guns that qualify to your applicable license. All items sold on strict cash terms and on an AS-IS and Where-IS Basis with no returns. We are not experts on every type of firearm and the final inspection is ultimately the purchaser's responsibility. If the purchaser or a third party on behalf of the purchaser would like to inspect the items, we are more than happy to accommodate them. We have multiple pictures of all items, so please inspect them closely and ask questions ahead of time. All purchasers MUST send us an FFL (or C&R on applicable guns) to have there guns shipped to them, regardless of your states rules and regulations. The only exceptions to this rule are Black Powders & BB Guns. We are a federally licensed Firearm Dealer and ALL FEDERAL REGULATIONS APPLY. All firearms will be shipped within 10 business days after receiving FFL & Payment. Please ask first with any and all questions, it is easier to deal with it ahead of time vs. later.

April 12th, 1859" Behind hammer fulcrum on Right side plate it states "C Sharps Pat. Oct 5th, 1859". Gun has steel butt plate. A small sliver of forearm on right side of bbl. is missing. 5-shot revolver. 24" bbl. Front 19 1/4" of bbl. is round, remainder of bbl. is octagonal. We believe this to be a model 1855 Half Stock Sporting Rifle. There has been a small repair to a chip in butt stock on both sides of lower brass tang. Forearm is sound. right side of butt stock has a slight crack extending from upper tang to lower tang. We believe this rifle to be as original as possible for its age. cylinder is fully fluted. Entire gun has turned a nice patina. There is some pitting on receiver and cylinder. We still consider this to be a nice example of a Colt 1855 Sporting Rifle. Condition rates average for its age. SN on brass lower tang: 7036
