Please Note: We were Notified Today of a Civil Action that will prevent us from releasing this lot until it has been resolved. We will still sell it in this Auction to ...morethe highest Bidder without Reserve, but “Subject to Confirmation” and will not take payment or release the item until the issue is resolved. This is an Antique Prise (Prize) “Machine Gun” “Hundley Stage Co” Double Twist Barrel Hammer Shotgun in 12 GA Belgium? Circa 1883. The barrels are twist laminate steel with some minor inside bore pitting and measure approximately 20.25” with overall gun length of approximately 37.25”. The gun barrel appears to have been painted black at some point in its history and then most paint worn off. There are numerous numbers and hallmarks under barrel and patent date of 1883. The wood stock is marked “Property of Hundley Stage Company 2 Colorado City Gripple Creek and Victor”. This gun and other high quality guns in this Auction are from a private collection and should be inspected in person to ultimately determine and confirm condition, value, type, grade, measurements, touch marks, and variations.
