Lot # 173 (Sale Order: 151 of 508)      

Serial no. GX2209-2. .357 Magnum caliber, 4-inch heavyweight barrel without maker, address, model or caliber markings. Rampant colt logo on sideplate. Blued finish, with checkered mottled brown Coltwood plastic service grips, with molded rampant colt logos. Floating firing pin. Maroon Heritage of Craftsmanship box, with identifying Custom Shop end label.
Condition: Very good to fine. Light wear, with patina, more pronounced at flat, unblued muzzle end of barrel. Light wear to box.
Notes: Experimental prototype of new Official Police design, kept by factory.

Blued and case-hardened finish. Brass gripstrap assembly. Oil-finished walnut grips.
Condition: Excellent. Slight patina on front sight blade, will clean off. Minor patina on bright brass.
Notes: Retained by factory as prototype of 1860 Army and sample of West Point 175th Anniversary Commemorative issue. The quality of this revolver is excellent, rivaling the 1st Generation antiques.

Blued and case-hardened finish. Brass gripstrap assembly. Oil-finished walnut grips.
