A Fine And Rare Le Faucheux Pinfire Double Action 21-shot Revolver With Over-and-under Barrels, Insc

Firearm.Serial no. LF 1298, .32 pinfire caliber, 21-shot double-tiered cylinder, with 11-shots on the outside and 10 shots on the inner ring of chambers; 4 7/8-inch barrel group with patentee name and ""Bte a Paris"" inscribed in script on top of barrel; folding spur trigger; blued, with case-hardened frame and hammer; varnished select walnut grips; lanyard ring at butt. Right side of upper barrel engraved in old English: ""J. Nicolas Hurtado.""
Condition: Fine. 25% blue on barrels, 75% on cylinder; balance turning brown; frame with brown patina, traces case-hardening on frame and 60% on hammer; grips fine with light marks and minor wear. Action needs work as it will not cock.

Firearm.Serial no. 1070, .32 caliber, 1 3/4-inch part round/part octagonal barrel. Nickel-plated finish. Smooth, hard rubber side plates. Center escutcheon marked: The Protector/Minn. Firearms Co. Reverse marked: Patented March 6, 1888. Checkered edge panels. Manufactured without the usual checkered hard rubber pad on plunger. Contained in original green factory box, having an illustrated label depicting a hand holding the pistol.
Condition: Near mint. Retaining approximately 99-100% finish with slight wear present. Box with age discoloration and splits to seams.
Notes: Manufactured in the 1890s

Condition: Near mint. Retaining approximately 95-99% finish with one spot of flaking finish near muzzle and a few fine scratches present. Probably the finest example of this model in existence.
