Lot of Four (4) German WWII Leuchtpistole 34 Single Shot Flare Pistols, 26.5mm smoothbore cal., 6" barrels with octagonal chambers, duralumin construction with blackened/anodized finish, checkered black/dark red bakelite grips with steel lanyard rings on butts. No sights. Break-open action with lever releases. All pistols have mismatched numbers on frames and barrels: 1) #5404. Marked "S/237/1938" on left side frame, with "eagle-swastika" firing proofs and "eagle-swastika 26" inspection stamps on right side frame and barrel. Condition overall is good, the metal retaining approx. 50% finish, showing wear and spots to the barrel. Grips are good with light handling marks. Bore rates as good with a couple of dark spots. Action locks up and operates smoothly. 2) #5950. Marked "S/237/1939" on left side frame, with "eagle-swastika" firing proofs and "eagle-swastika/214" inspection stamps on the right-side frame and barrel. Condition overall is fair with much of the finish worn off or toned to a bronze color. There are several impact marks to the top of the chamber and to the muzzle with the barrel no longer round. Grips are fair with chips to the checkering. Bore rates as fair with patina and dark spots. Action locks up and operates smoothly. 3) #5210. Marked "237/1939" on left side frame, with "eagle-swastika" firing proofs and "eagle-swastika/214" inspection stamps on right side frame and barrel. Condition overall is fair, the metal retaining approx. 80% finish, with edgewear and a dent to the barrel. Grips are fair with chips to the checkering. Bore rates as fair with toning. Barrel release plunger is missing and the action can only be opened and locked closed manually. Hammer and trigger operate smoothly. 4) #9085. Marked "S/237/1938" on left side frame, with "eagle-swastika" firing proofs and "eagle-swastika/26" inspection stamps on right side frame and barrel. Condition overall is fair, the metal retaining approx. 60% finish, showing edgewear and scratches. Grips are fair with chips and flattening to the checkering. Bore rates as fair with pitting and patina. Action locks up and operates smoothly. Est.: $600-$1,000/Lot. (No FFL Required)
