British No. 2 Mk 1** Enfield Double Action Revolver, #ZC5877, .38 S&W cal., 5" flat-sided barrel, black painted finish, black plastic grooved grips, blade front sight and fixed rear sight with square notch. Marked on right-side frame with Enfield Arsenal "DI**". Top of barrel flat marked "CAL.38/44/(Broad Arrow/firing proof". Right-side steel grip disc is unmarked. Matching numbers on frame, barrel and cylinder. Condition overall is very good with the metal retaining less than 30% of its mostly chipped painted finish, now showing toned metal underneath, especially along the barrel. Left grip is in about good condition with chipped areas to the grooves; right grip is in better condition also showing chips to the grooves. Action locks up, cycles, and extracts smoothly; bright bore is in good condition showing wear to the rifling. Chambers are clean and bright. WWII German P-38 Mauser byf 43 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #3082h, 9mm, 5" barrel, blued finish, black Bakelite grooved grips, drift adjustable inverted "V" front sight and fixed rear sight with large "U"-shaped groove, hammer drop safety, lanyard loop, bottom magazine release, and one blued steel magazine. Magazine is marked "P.38v" with an "(eagle)135" waffenamt on the rear spine. Right side of slide is marked with Nazi eagle firing proof, and two "(eagle)135" waffenamts. There is an additional "(eagle)" 135 waffenamt on left side of the frame. Visible matching numbers on barrel, frame and slide. No import marks. Condition is fine, displaying approx. 96%-97% original blued finish, with intermittent salt-and-pepper type blemishes. There is some very mild pitting and small impressions to left side of the barrel, below back of the rear sight. Rear of frame, above grip, has some moderate pitting and appears to have been cleaned. Grips are very good showing moderate wear, with light scuffs and scratches, heavier wear at hold open lever, some warping causing a gap where the grips meet at backstrap. Action, hold open, and safety all function properly; bore is good with defined rifling and very mild pitting scattered throughout. "IG", "(crown)/FW", "I.G. Mod. 71", "11.1" (mm bore dia.) and "1875" date at breech. Steel fittings incl. large nose cap with right bayonet lug, slotted/grooved ramrod, two spring-retained bands, brass trigger guard on iron floorplate.. Bolt with winged safety lever. Walnut fullstock carries numerous markings at belly and "IG" at right butt. Barrel and receiver serial numbers match, one band and bolt are #6507P, buttplate #2994P. Condition is good, showing overall lightly-oxidized smooth gray gunmetal, with sharp edges and markings. Stock is sound with scattered generally light age and use marks. Antique Argentine Model 1879 Cavalry Carbine, NVSN, .43 Spanish CF cal., 20.5" round barrel, blade front and single-leaf rear sights, marked "Modelo Argentino 1879 E.N." atop 2.25" semi-octagonal breech, "B" at left; large No. 1 receiver has central hammer/rolling breechblock with auto-extraction, marked on top tang with Remington name and address and 1864-1870s patent dates in 3 lines. Oil-finished walnut forend has a single clamping band with sling loop, matching buttstock with carbine buttplate, sling loop at belly. Mfg'd ca. 1867-88. Condition is fair, retaining no original finishes, being generally smooth gray/brown gunmetal with fine edges and markings. Forend shows losses and repair at right with heavy dings; buttstock shows heavy use but is sound, both have later varnish. A very good condition folding monopod is mounted to the rear band. Cleaning rod is under the barrel but is jammed in place. Marked on top of receiver ring with intact mum crest over characters for "99 Type". Left side receiver rail stamped with 4th Series mark and the symbol for the Nagoya Arsenal. Matching numbers on bolt handle, extractor and bayonet lug. Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining approx. 70% finish, with patina to the trigger guard, magazine floorplate and buttplate. Head of the rear tang screw is broken off. Wood is very good with a chip to the buttstock and overall handling marks to the darkened finish. Modified German Kar 98k Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #6965d, 8x57mm, 23.6" barrel, blued finish, laminated stock set with cupped buttplate, inverted "V" front sight with attached hood and adjustable tangent rear sight with V-notch. A good condition steel cleaning rod is mounted under the barrel. Rifle is marked on top of receiver ring with original "bcd/bnz./43" and "Mod.98" on the left side receiver rail. Rifle has been modified by stamping "6965"and spurious "eagle-swastika" proof marks on the left side receiver ring and barrel shank. A stamped serial number has been gouged from the left side buttstock. Matching numbers on bolt assembly and added to trigger guard. Condition overall is good as modified, the metal retaining approx. 50% finish, with re-bluing to the receiver and front barrel band. There is rust and patina to the buttplate. Wood is fair to good with gouges forward of the barrel bands, damage to the right side wrist, and de-lamination cracking to the right side buttstock. Bore rates as good with good rifling. The bolt assembly has been renumbered to match. A serial number has been gouged out of the left side buttstock. A good condition steel cleaning rod is mounted under the barrel. Original Czech markings have been removed and the left side receiver rail is now marked with spurious "G.24.(t)". Top of the receiver ring has been remarked "dou./40" and an "eagle-swastika" has been stamped onto the left side receiver ring. A "WaA53" stamp has also been applied to the right-side buttstock. There is a matching number on the bolt handle with a mismatched number on the left side buttstock. Condition overall is good, the partially refinished metal retaining approx. 60% finish, with battering marks and wear to the trigger guard/magazine floorplate assembly. Wood is good showing old overall handling marks and darkening to the finish. Muzzle has been counter bored. French Marked P.38 Mauser byf/44 Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Two Magazines and Holster, #3226g, 9mm, 5" barrel, dull blue finish, steel grips with horizontal grooves, dovetailed blade front sight and fixed rear sight with "U" notch, hammer drop safety, lanyard loop, bottom magazine release, and two magazines. Magazine #1 is Czech contract produced and is marked "jvd/P38U" with a flat follower. Condition is good with dark toning and patina to the finish. Magazine #2 is marked "P.38v/U", condition is very good with wear and scattered patina. The second type brown leather holster is marked "Mdj/Lieferer-Nr/1828" under the flap as made for the post WWII East German Ministry of the Interior. Condition is very good with stains and handling marks to the finish. All stitching and fittings are intact. Pistol is marked "P.38/byf 44" on left side slide and on the right-side slide with a very faint "(eagle)/WaA135" acceptance mark that has been overstamped with a French five-pointed star proof mark indicating the slide was removed from the Mauser plant inventory and proofed and assembled by the occupying French forces. There are additional five-pointed stars stamped on the barrel and phosphate locking block. Matching numbers on frame, slide, barrel, and locking block. No import marks. Condition overall is very good, retaining approx. 80% re-blued finish, showing rust to the trigger guard and areas of patina to the slide. Grips are good showing an overall rust patina to the finish. Blade front sight and drift adjustable rear sight with U-notch. There is a lanyard ring on the left side of the frame. Magazine #1 is stamped with matching number #BA68 on the floorplate. Condition is fair with overall rust patina. The lanyard loop has been removed. #2 is stamped #yr 233 on the floorplate with lanyard loop. Condition is good with wear to the finish. Brown leather holster is marked with a faint ink stamp on the underside of the flap. Condition is fair with cracking and wear to the finish. The loops have been removed from the rear and replaced with a single wide belt loop. Pistol is marked "BA68/(Izhevsk Arsenal symbol)1948" on left side frame. Markings have been removed from the top of the slide. Condition overall is good, all of the bluing has been removed from the metal leaving areas of old pitting and patina. A very good reproduction steel cleaning rod is mounted under the barrel. Rifle is marked with original "Mod.98" on left side receiver rail and "bnz/43" on top of the receiver ring. A spurious rune symbol, "eagle-swastika" proof stamps, WaA stamps, and a Death's Head symbol have been applied to the receiver, barrel, and buttstock wrist. A serial number has been gouged out of the left side buttstock. Bolt handle has been re-stamped with a matching serial number. Condition overall is fair, heat appears to have been applied to the receiver, and the bolt fits tightly when closed, the metal retaining approx 20% finish with most parts cleaned or showing patina. Cleaning rod is missing. Rifle is marked on top of receiver ring with original "bnz/44". Rifle has been modified by removing the model number from the left side receiver rail, adding a spurious "eagle-swastika" proof stamp to the left side receiver ring, and spurious waffenamt stamps to the barrel shank. A spurious "Death's Head" is stamped on the underside of the stock wrist. A matching number has been stamped on the bolt handle. A stamped serial number has been gouged from the left side buttstock. Condition overall is good as modified, the metal retaining approx. 30% finish, with most parts showing cleaning and toning. Wood is good showing sanding and staining over old handling marks. No import marks. Includes a softshell black leather pebble grain holster. Backside is marked with cxb (Moll Lederwarenfabrik) maker code, "4", and "P38". Pistol is in good overall condition. Finish shows general thinning and wear, approx. 75% remains. Frame shows plum colored toning. There are some patches of very mild pitting on the barrel and right side of the slide. Pre-WWII Czech CZ-24 (AKA VZ-24) Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Two Magazines and Holster, #155159, .380 ACP cal., 3.5" rotating barrel, blued finish, dark red one-piece plastic checkered grip, blade front sight and fixed rear sight with V-notch, magazine safety, lanyard ring, and two magazines. Magazine #1 is unmarked with a blued finish. Condition is very good with wear to the front and top. Magazine #2 is unmarked and fits a .32 cal. CZ-27 pistol. Right side frame marked with "(CZ logo)/J/Czech Rampart Lion/37". All matching visible numbers. Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining approx. 75% finish, with wear and patina to both sides of the slide, and to the frame, trigger guard, and front grip strap. The straw hammer and trigger show darkening and toning. Grip has a chip missing from the bottom right side, otherwise good, with overall wear to the checkering. Mfg'd 1942. Lot includes a period CZ Model 27 leather flap holster in good condition with tight stitching and an extra unmarked magazine. Pistol is in very good overall condition, retaining 85%-88% high-polish blue finish, with holster wear at the muzzle, edgewear along the slide, and scattered fine pinprick pitting, particularly on the right side of the slide. Slide and frame show edgewear and the straps have gone to even gray patina. Ringed hammer shows muted color case hardening. Markings are sharp with an Italian proof on the right side of the trigger guard. Left side of the frame is marked with an "RE" under a crown for Regio Esercito (Royal Italian Army). Left side of the slide is marked "P. BERETTA - CAL. 9 CORTO - MO 1934 - BREVETTATA/GARDONE V. T. 1942 - XX". No visible import marks noted. The textured plastic grips are very good and fit well. Pistol is in very good overall condition, retaining 80%-85% original blue finish drifting to patina, with holster wear at the muzzle and along the slide with thinning finish throughout. Slide has gone to a plum color and is marked "PISTOLA-AUT-BERETTA 7.65 BREV. 1915 1919." There are no visible import marks noted. Matching numbers on barrel, frame, slide, and locking block. No import marks. Includes a hardshell black leather holster that has had a gloss-black finish applied to the exterior. No maker's marks are visible. Pistol is in very good overall condition. Sides of the slide have been refinished in a high polish blue, leaving some of the markings weak. Approx. 96%-97% of the phosphate finish remains. Grips are very good+ showing normal light handling wear. Action, hold open, and hammer drop all function properly. Post-WWII French P.38 Mauser svw/45 Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Two Magazines and Holster, #49g, 9mm, 5" barrel, gray phosphate finish with blued barrel, black Bakelite grooved grips, dovetailed blade front sight and fixed rear sight with U-notch, hammer drop safety, lanyard loop, bottom magazine release. Magazine #1 is WWII Czech contract made and marked "jvd" on the left side. Magazine #2 is marked "P.38v" on the left side. Condition for both is good with wear and areas of patina. East German black leather second type holster is stamped "Mdj" under the flap for issue to the Interior Ministry. Condition is good with wear, scuffs, and handling marks to the finish. All fittings and stitching are intact. Pistol was assembled by French authorities who occupied the Mauser factory at the end of WWII using leftover and new parts. Marked "P.38/svw45" on left side slide and stamped with a French five-pointed star proof stamp on the right-side slide and left side locking block. There is a partially removed "WaA" stamp on the left side frame. Matching numbers on frame, slide, and locking block. No import marks. Condition overall is fair, the metal retaining approx. 70% finish, with areas of rust across the barrel and patina to the frame, trigger guard, and trigger. Grips are very good with light scratches to the right side. Action, hold open, and hammer drop safety all function properly.
