Heavy receiver has large elevation-adjustable rear sight, 10-rd. detachable magazine (marked "308 Cal), "MAS Mle 1949-56" over "Cal. 7,62" over ".308" and serial no. marked at left. Bolt handle of characteristic ribbed white plastic. Century Arms conversion to .308 caliber. Matching oil-finished hardwood forend, upper hand guard and semi-pistol grip butt stock (wood is smooth and unmarked) with polished butt plate. Action is smooth; bore is bright with strong rifling. This circa 1919 U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1903 MK I bolt action rifle in .30-06 caliber with a 24" barrel is in fine to excellent condition displaying approximately 92% finish to the gun's parts. The hardwood finely grained stock & hand guard are near fine with a circle "P" proof behind the trigger guard, four small sub proofs on the underside in front of the floor plate plus four cartouches on the left side of the stock including an "RA", an "FJA" in a square, and a crossed cannons marking and an "O G" stamp. The gun's markings are sharp, including an "S "A over a flaming bomb over 12-19. The action is crisp and the bore/rifling are excellent. (C&R)

Manufactured circa 3-20, this desirable U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1903 Mark I bolt action rifle, cut for a Pedersen Device, is in fine condition displaying approximately 95% military finish to the receiver, trigger, trigger guard, floor plate, barrel assembly, forend cap, bayonet lug (no bayonet included), three sling swivels (no sling included), flip-up adjustable rear sight, hooded fixed blade front sight, bolt assembly, checkered steel butt plate (that may be of a later period) with "door" to butt stock storage compartment (no tools included), and misc. small parts/securing screws. The hardwood stock is very good to near fine displaying the majority of its oil finish with a circle "P" proof behind the trigger guard and four partially visible sub-inspector marks on the underside of the stock in front of the floor plate. (C&R / PPT)

RARE EARLY JAPANESE ARISAKA TYPE 44 CAVALRY CARBINE 6.5x50 CAL.

This Arisaka carbine was manufactured pre-1942 at the Nagoya Arsenal (logo at left receiver), for IJA (Imperial Japanese Army) cavalry troops. Kanji Type lettering atop chamber, with ground Imperial Mum. Bolt cover missing, bolt #909. Carbine features distinctive sturdy forend nose cap (marked "941") having folding 15.25" spike bayonet with catch at muzzle, stacking hook, and front sight with squared protectors. Asian hardwood semi-pistol grip finger-groove full stock has matching hand guard. Butt plate with unique release for door to butt trap for cleaning rods (not present). The condition is very good for this rare survivor; the receiver displays approximately 80% arsenal blue. The nose cap, bayonet, floor plate, trigger guard and butt plate are mostly smooth brown with an unfinished bolt. The stock is sound with expected but generally light marks of WWII military use. The action is crisp; the bore shows moderate roughness in grooves with good rifling. (C&R)

Scarce Winchester Model 1894 lever action saddle ring carbine, .25-35 WCF cal., 20" barrel w/full-length magazine, blue finish, smooth walnut two-piece straight grip stock, saddle ring removed, pinned brass blade front and correct ladder rear sights, legible factory markings with a faint Winchester WP proof on the barrel at the breech. Mfg. in 1916, the carbine is in good overall condition, with the metal surfaces having gone to gray patina with traces of original finish, scrapes, scratches, and surface erosion. The receiver displays a mottled appearance with spots of corrosion, scratches and scattered light surface rust evident. The hammer, lever and loading gate retain considerable original finish. The stock is very good with a later replacement buttstock showing indentations, scrapes, and missing wood on both sides of the tang. The butt ends with a checkered steel shotgun butt plate, providing a 13.25" LOP. The action is slightly stiff, functioning well, and locking up securely. The bore is only fair with moderate erosion and scattered pitting along the length of the barrel. (C&R)

The finely grained hardwood checkered butt stock and forend are overall very good to near fine displaying several scattered minor mars and scratches from handling and storage plus retain the majority of their rich oil finish, and a checkered black AYA plastic butt plate creating a LOP of 14.5". This circa May, 1918 import-marked Winchester U.S. Model 1917 bolt action rifle in .30-06 caliber w/ a 26" barrel is in overall fine to near excellent condition displaying approximately 95% black blued finish to the gun's parts. The finely grained hardwood stock and upper hand guard are fine with some scattered old nicks, mars, and scratches from handling, carry, and storage. The underside of the butt stock area is stamped with this rifle's serial #. The markings are sharp including a flaming bomb proof on the left side of the receiver (also on the flat of the bolt handle (along with the serial # stamped higher up on that flat)). The import-marking is on the underside of the barrel at the muzzle & there is also a "W" stamped on the bayonet lug flat. The action is crisp and the bore/rifling are excellent. (C&R)

Winchester Model 1890 slide action rifle, .22 Long cal., 24" octagon barrel w/ 3/4-length magazine, blue and color case hardened finish, smooth walnut two-piece straight grip stock, factory dovetailed blade front and fixed V notch rear sights, 13-rib fore end, clear factory markings with Winchester "WP" proof on the barrel at the breech. Mfg. in 1899, the rifle is in very good overall condition, retaining 30-40% thinning barrel/magazine blue with losses at the muzzle, scrapes, scratches and light surface rust. There are fine spots of white paint overspray that should clean with scattered surface erosion. The edges remain sharp. The receiver shows toned, silvered color case hardened finish drifting to brown patina. The stock is only fair with indentations, scrapes and gouges, worse on the buttstock. The butt ends with a smooth steel crescent butt plate, proud at the toe, providing a 12.75" LOP. The action functions well and locks up securely. The bore is good with light erosion and defined rifling. (C&R)

Charles Daly O/U shotgun, 12 gauge, 28" vent rib barrels with 2-3/4" chambers choked Full/Mod, blue finish, finely checkered walnut two-piece round knob pistol grip stock, brass bead front sight, gold single selector trigger, lightly border engraved receiver, extractors, clear factory markings, marked "MIROKU FIREARMS MFG. CO., KOCHI JAPAN". The shotgun is in near excellent overall condition, retaining 97-98% factory finish with light wear at the muzzles and handling marks. The receiver shows light edge wear and minor finish losses. The bottom metal shows edge wear. The stock is near excellent with minor indentations and scratches. The buttstock ends with a ventilated rubber recoil pad, providing a 14" LOP. The action is crisp and locks up securely. The bores are very good. (Modern)

This Winchester Model 1886 takedown .33 W.C.F. caliber 24" nickel steel round barrel lever action rifle is in good + condition displaying approximately 30% muted black blued finish in protected areas of the gun w/the balance gone to a gray finish, and scattered light spotting of pinprick pitting. The receiver is mounted with an adjustable Lyman peep sight, unfilled rear barrel dovetail and an adjustable fixed blade front sight. The hardwood butt stock/forend are good w/pleasing grain patterns, scattered old mars and scratches from handling, carry and storage plus traces of their oil finish remaining. The markings are sharp, the action is crisp, and the bore/rifling are near good. (Pre-98 / No FFL Required)

This desirable circa 1950s Belgian-made engraved Browning A5 Light Twelve semi-auto shotgun is in fine condition displaying approximately 95% black blued finish to the gun's parts including its ventilated rib barrel with a polished bolt assembly and cartridge lifter plus a gold colored trigger. The checkered butt stock & forend are fine with a pleasing grain pattern and oil finish with a Pachmayr hard rubber butt pad and two spacers creating a LOP of 14-1/2". The engraving and markings are sharp, the action is crisp, and the bore is excellent. (C&R)
