Early Sig Sauer Model P 210 semi-automatic pistol, 4.7" barrel, 9mm cal., blue finish, ribbed wood two-piece grips, 8-round magazine. The pistol is in fine overall condition retaining 90-95% of the factory blue finish with light scratches, edge wear and general thinning of finish. There is light surface corrosion and loss of finish on the front grip strap and pin prick pitting on the right side of the slide. The ribbed wood grips are very good with a lanyard ring at the base of the left panel. The bore is very good and the action is crisp on this desirable P210 manufactured in the early 1950's. The bore is good with frosting in the grooves and scattered roughness. The action functions with some stiffness and needs adjustment. The grips are very good with the right grip toning with exposure. The screw heads are very good with traces of old niter blue evident. Cased Undersheriff Robert Squires engraved, cased revolver commemorating the 1912 Shootout at Tomato Springs. Limited to a production run of 250, this is #170. The pistol is nickel plated with light engraving, smooth walnut grips with an OCSD star, the case includes a small replica belt buckle, deputy star and smooth wood case with green velveteen interior. The pistol shows light tarnish, scratches and storage marks. A nice commemorative with a limited production. The pistols were sold in support of the department's "Project 99" efforts. (Modern/PPT).
