Casehardened boxlock receiver engraved in standard DHE factory pattern. Blue long tang trigger guard with burst of scroll on bow, SN at tang. Gun made with Parker SST, auto ejectors, auto safety. Very nicely marble cake-figured American walnut straight grip buttstock is checkered in point pattern through the wrist, has brass oval on toeline, and terminates with its original engraved & blued skeleton buttplate. Gun is housed in its factory original 2 brl set brown leather case with green felt interior and maker's trade label. Original canvas cover, keys, and snap caps included. SET 1: Weight: 5lbs. 10oz. Nicely figured honey & marble cake walnut buttstock with carved teardrops behind receiver, is checkered in point pattern through the wrist, has engraved silver oval on toeline, "GRS", and terminates with original blued and engraved skeleton butt. Gun is housed in its original Parker Repro case with canvas cover. WEIGHT: 5lbs. 6oz. Cham. Lgth: 2-3/4". Bore Diameter: .553(R) .552(L). Bore Restriction: Stamped Mod./Full . DAC: 1-3/8". Built on a No. 2 frame with 32...more" Whitworth fluid steel brls that have rare factory original ventilated top rib with twin white beads. Rib is hand engraved "PARKER BROS MAKERS. MERIDEN CT. U.S.A. WHITWORTH STEEL". Brls with 2" relief floral scroll wedges at breech ends and small ring of chain link engraving at muzzles. Engine turned brl flats with unstruck brl weight of 4lbs. 8oz and Whitworth tube stamps  "35573" & "35574" & grade stamp "8". Factory original walnut beavertail forend is spectacularly fleur-de-lis carved and finely checkered and has fully engraved casehardened latch release and iron. Forend with proper original reinforcement bolt at muzzle end. Casehardened boxlock receiver is spectacularly deep relief floral scroll engraved in full coverage. Engraving features large sunflowers and other floral & foliate engraving. Bottom of frame gold inlaid "PARKER BROS" above trigger plate. Center of frame with sculpted "pigtails". Breech fences with 4 sculpted ribs and are fully floral scroll relief engraved. Top lever and top tang are relief floral scroll engraved with top lever being floral pierced and top tang with gold inlaid "S" ahead of the safety slide. Blued trigger guard is near full coverage relief floral scroll engraved and has gold inlaid SN at rear of tang. Gun made with gold plated SST, auto ejectors, non-auto safety, factory original ventilated rib and factory original beavertail forend. Very highly flame figured American walnut buttstock is wonderfully carved with fleur-de-lis and fine checkering in recessed panel behind receiver, carved fleur-de-lis which leads into the fleur-de-lis panel checkering through the wrist. Pistol grip cap has gold washer and gold cap with original owner's initials in Old English script  "J.W. McW" and terminates with its original Silvers pad. WEIGHT: 8lbs. 8oz. Cham. Lgth: 2-7/8". Min. Wall Thickness: .028(R) .029(L). Bore Diameter: .737(Both). Bore Restriction: .026(R) .041(L). DAC: 1-3/4". DAH: 2-1/8". LOP: 14". Excellent, untouched, and virtually all original from the factory. Brls with 95-97% original blue remaining. Buttstock and forend are excellent with about 95% original finish remaining. There are some light handling marks in the butt but overall stocks are sound and excellent. Frame retains a substantial amount of its original case, and exact percent is hard to discern because of the depth of the engraving but certainly more than 70% overall. Trigger guard with original blue on bow. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. Pad is hard and crystalizing but original to the gun from '34. Family lore suggests the gun was returned to Parker in '34 to have the stock length of pull shortened to current measurements. Undoubtedly the single finest A1 Special offered at auction in the last 10 years and a bench mark gun! This gun is being deaccessioned by our consignor to fund a special needs trust for his son. 5884. C&R. Brl flats are engine turned and have Whitworth tube numbers, unstruck brl weight of 3lbs. 6oz., and Remington repair code "XH3" (Dec 1939). Splinter forend is full coverage finely checkered and has fully engraved steel tip, Deeley latch release, and iron. Interior of iron is finely engine turned. Casehardened boxlock receiver is beautifully full coverage scroll & relief floral engraved with "PARKER BROS" in panel on sides. Bottom off frame and trigger pate are full coverage floral and scroll engraved. Brl fences are double beaded. Blued long tang trigger guard is engraved en-suite with SN at center of tang. Gun now has Parker SST, auto ejectors, auto safety. Beautifully figured stump walnut straight grip buttstock with checkered side panels, carved fleur-de-lis behind receiver, is checkered in fancy flowing wave border pattern through the wrist, has gold oval on toeline, and terminates with its finely floral scroll engraved skeleton buttplate. Gun is housed in a Emmebi full brown leather and green felt interior case with reproduction maker's trade label. Accompanied by PGCA letter identifying the gun as mostly found today as ordered through Abercrombie and Fitch 1/13/1916 and shipped 11/11/1916 with an original order price of $325. WEIGHT: 6lbs. 5oz. Breech end of brls ...morewith small ring of engraving. Walnut splinter forearm is point pattern checkered with fully engraved steel tip, Deeley latch release, and iron. Brl fences are filed in A grade style with single bead around fences. Action is engraved with near full coverage vine scroll surrounding small, well detailed vignettes of dogs and game in a style seen on other exhibition and specially made guns, most notably those ordered by Charles E. Parker. A pair of Pointers are on left rear, with a pair of pheasants at left front, with a quail or heron engraved on fence. A pair of Setters on right side, with guinea hens(?) at front, with a flying bird on fence. A flock of ducks fly across front portion of bottom of action, a herd of elk(?), one bull and three cows run across trigger plate. Another elk is on trigger guard bow. SN at grip. Nicely figured European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock has finely checkered side panels, relief fleur-de-lis behind receiver, is checkered in flowing wave border pattern through the wrist, has engraved gold grip cap, and terminates with its original engraved skeleton buttplate. Accompanied by a PGCA research letter dated March 11, 1897 to the New York Exposition and confirms the gun as found today. WEIGHT: 9lbs. 8oz. Cham. Lgth: 2-7/8". Min. Wall Thickness: .045(R) .047(L). Splinter forend checkered in point pattern with engraved steel tip, Deeley latch release, and iron. Casehardened boxlock receiver is very nicely special order engraved with scroll on sides, rail birds on left, and egrets(?) on right. Bottom of frame engraved "PARKER". Trigger plate with 2 flying egrets(?) and one standing, surrounded by scroll border. Blued trigger guard with burst of scroll on bow, SN at rear of tang. Gun made with Parker SST, auto ejectors, auto safety. Nicely flame figured capped pistol grip walnut buttstock with carved teardrops behind receiver, is checkered in point pattern through the wrist, has silver oval on toeline, and terminates with its original lightly engraved skeleton buttplate. Accompanied by a PGCA research letter identifying the gun as found today. WEIGHT: 6lbs. 1oz. Cham. Lgth: 2-3/4". Bore Diameter: .551(Both). Bore Restriction: .010(R) .015(L). DAC: 1-5/8". Buttstock and forearm are excellent with scattered impressions & handling marks and a couple of small areas where checkering points have been pushed in. Buttstock and forend with small areas of some finish added for preservation but remain excellent and original overall. Frame retains 40-50% nice original case color. Engraving remains crisp. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. This is an extremely hard to find Parker likely with great West Coast Duck Club history and should be further researched! 5832. C&R.

Casehardened boxlock receiver is engraved in standard DHE pattern with Pointer on left, Setter on right, both on point surrounded by well executed scroll and maker's name in banner. Bottom of frame with 4 pheasants in portrait on trigger plate. Blued trigger guard with burst of scroll on bow, SN at rear of tang. Gun made with double nickel plated triggers, extractors, auto safety. Capped pistol grip walnut buttstock with carved teardrops behind receiver, is checkered in mullered border point pattern through the wrist, has silver oval on toeline, and terminates with its original blued skeleton buttplate. WEIGHT: 7lbs. 10oz. Cham. Lgth: 2-5/8". Min. Wall Thickness: .029(R) .027(L). Bore Diameter: .755(R) .759(L). Bore Restriction: .029(R) .033(L). DAC: 1-1/2". DAH: 2-1/4". LOP: 13-7/16". Frame retains about 90% of its original case color having darkened at carry point but remains vivid on sides, top, and trigger plate. Trigger guard retains more than 80% of its original blue with some flaking on bow and tang. Buttplate retains nearly all of its vibrant original blue. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. No other Parker shotgun has been observed with damascus brls anywhere near this serial number and the condition is absolutely worthy of the most advance Parker collection! 5686.
