Specifications for a single trigger and auto ejectors. General Billy Mitchell is well documented to have owned several high grade Parker shotguns, including a BHE grade 10ga which is consecutively serial numbered to this exact gun. Mitchell's other factory documented guns include a BHE grade 20ga SN 148887 and an AHE grade 12ga SN 124247. It stands to solid reason that this gun, which is engraved identically to the 10ga owned by Mitchell and is consecutively numbered to this gun could have been the property of General Mitchell. While there is no firm documentation to prove that at this time, this gun should be further researched knowing that Mitchells' 10ga, 12ga, 20ga guns are documented to him, this gun perhaps completing this set as his 16ga. The gun stands on its own as rare high grade sub-gauge Parker with beautiful engraving and the Mitchell connection is potentially fascinating. WEIGHT: 7lbs. 5oz. Cham. Lgth: 2-3/4". Min. Wall Thickness: .025(R) .024(L). Bore Diameter: .667(R) .663(L). Bore Restriction: .005(R) .010(L). DAC: 1-3/8". DAH: 2-1/4". LOP: 14-3/8". Excellent as partially restored. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. C&R.
