Geografia Universal( UNIVERSAL GEOGRAPHY )has 3 editions. 2 in book 1 and the third in a separate book. Both books have marbleized boards and are very tight. The cov...moreer on both have some water damage on the backside of the board on the cover board where the inks have run, and on the page or 2 after have brown mold due to the water damage. The book pages themselves are fairly unaffected by the water damage. By the introduction page it is almost unnoticeable. The first volume is the introduction of Universal Geography. Volumes 2 and 3 talk about universal principles in the world. The set was printed in Madrid in 1848. All 3 volumes are written in Spanish.

The book also has a personalized library plate card of a horse and a crown for Sir Edward Cholm Dering. Marie De Medici was Queen of France as the second wife of King Henry IV of France, of the House of Bourbon and Regent of the Kingdom of France officially during 1610-1614. Henry IV was assassinated and Marie acted as regent for her son until he became of age. Eventually the King banished Marie de Medici and she died in the city of Cologne in the Holy Roman Empire. Some of the pictures inside of the book include "The Old Bridge" in Bath, Powderham Castle, Kentchurch Park, and more. There are also very detailed descriptions of when these places were built and the historical value they hold for the area.

Some of the pictures in the book include St. Giles' Church, Looking West in Edinburg, The University, South Bridge Street, Edinburg, Ruins of Roslyn Castle near Edinburg, etc. The book tells you where these places sit as well as the history about the area.

Familiar Wildflowers written by F. Edward Hulme, F.S.A. The books have both black and white pictures as well as colored pictures for the flowers. Volume 1 the board ...moreis starting to seperate from the spine, the spine is peeling however the back cover seems to be intact. The extremities are worn. Volume 2 on the spine on the top back side, it has almost completely detached but the binding is holding. It is just the cover of the binding starting to wear down. The book is tight and has a dark red cloth and board with leather corners and spine. Volume 3 the top spine as almost come detached like the prior book, however that looks to be the only damage to the spine. The boards are still tight. On volume 4 the top of the spine is gone, however binding is still intact and the book is still tight. Just needs to be handled carefully.On volume 5 the board is starting to seperate at the top of the spine however it is still tight and barely noticeable. This volume has a redder tint than the other covers like it is cleaner. WONDERFUL ILLUSTRATIONS - A CLASSIC. No publication date given on title page.
