***Auction Highlight*** Bankers Trust Shotgun Roll of Peace dollars 1928 & p on ends (fc)

Lot # 205 (Sale Order: 253 of 688)

***Auction Highlight*** Bankers Trust Shotgun Roll of Peace dollars 1928 & p on ends . Great Original Roll of Peace Dollars. The roll is held in an old "Steel Strong Aut...moreomatic" Wrapper Dated from 1921. The Roll is also faitly stamped "Banker Trust of Philadelphia, Central City Office, Walnut Street at Juniper". I researched that name and the Bank closed in the post-Crash of '29 Depression period (my research showed that it failed on Dec 22, 1930). The Two ends showing are the Obverse of a Toned 1928, Looks like Choice to Gem, and the other side is a pretty, lightly toned Choice/Gem Looking 'p' Philadelphia mint Reverse. We received this incredible consignment from a private collector while at the Baltimore show. The consignee gave us his father's entire estate hoard of shotgun rolled coins. We have had great feedback on the rolls so far. Some super and rare coins found. Some folks have opted to leave them as is and let them appreciate. Your choice, but if you do open the Roll, please let us know what you find. Similar Rolls have been selling for upwards of $1200 on Ebay. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win Coin, Don't let it get Away.

***Auction Highlight*** PCGS 1880-o micro 'o' Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms62 By PCGS (fc)

Lot # 220.5 (Sale Order: 272 of 688)

***Auction Highlight*** PCGS 1880-o micro 'o' Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms62 By PCGS. Stunning example. Gorgeous rainbow rim toning both obverse and reverse. Flashy luste...morer. Exceptional eye appeal. A great strike especially for a New Orleans minted Morgan. Additionally, I do not know why this coin was graded ms62. I think it is undergraded and should be an ms63 or even ms63+. And finally, it is a micro 'o' and an o/o mintmark. A great example of Very Scarce Morgan, which turns Rare in Grades above ms63.. ***Auction Highlight*** ANACS 1883-p Seated Liberty Quarter 25c Graded ag3 By ANACS (fc)

Lot # 222 (Sale Order: 274 of 688)

***Auction Highlight*** ANACS 1883-p Seated Liberty Quarter 25c Graded ag3 By ANACS. According to Gordon Wrubel of PCGS, 'Philadelphia Mint circulation strike quarters fr...moreom 1879-1889 have low mintages ranging from 5,000 to 15,200. The reason for these tiny mintage figures was the Bland-Allison Silver Act of 1878. The Act mandated the minting of prodigious amounts of dollar coins to satisfy the demands of Western mining interests. This taxed the Mint's coining and die making machinery which resulted in meager production of sorely needed minor coinage. The situation was not corrected until 1892 with the introduction of the new Barber coinage. With survival estimates in the 15% range, circulation strike quarters of these dates were, and still are, highly sought by date collectors, and hoarded by some'. With an original mintage of just 14,400 pieces, PCGS estimates only 800 survive in all grades. Estimate $310
