WELCOME TO THE AUCTION

Lot # 1 (Sale Order: 1 of 1881)

Just to Reiterate from our terms and conditions: I do my best to estimate the grade/condition of the coins, but please note, unless specifically mentioned in the descrip...moretion, I do not guarantee grade or condition. I DO ALWAYS GUARANTEE 100% AUTHENTICITY, on an immediate buyback including any premium paid. But please understand, if you win a coin and receive it and send it out to one of the grading companies and it comes back graded less than I estimated or "genuine but Ungradeable", we will not buy back that coin. No refunds will be issued. Please understand this and look at the large pictures and make your own decision on the grade/condition. I do my best to give you my best estimate and your repeat attendance at my auctions is what I strive for, so I always attempt to give my best description/estimate of the coins being auctioned.

1942 Philippines (Japanese WWII Occupation) 10 Centavos Banknote P#?104 Grades vf+

Lot # 3 (Sale Order: 2 of 1881)

1942 Philippines (Japanese WWII Occupation) 10 Centavos Banknote P#?104 Grades vf+. Japanese invasion money, officially known as Southern Development Bank Notes (J...moreapanese: ??????? Dai T?-A Sens? gunpy?, "Greater East Asia War military scrip"), was currency issued by the Japanese Military Authority as a replacement for local currency after the conquest of colonies and other states in World War II. Japan printed this currency for many countries, including Malaysia, Singapore, North Borneo, Sarawak, Burma, Brunei, and several Oceania territories controlled by Australia. Some Japanese invasion notes are actually counterfeits produced by the American Office of Strategic Services or the British Special Operations Executive, meant to flood and destabilize the economy in the occupied areas, sometimes also including propaganda printed on the notes themselves.

1922 Weimar Germany 5,000 Mark Note P: 81D Grades Select AU

Lot # 11 (Sale Order: 8 of 1881)

1922 Weimar Germany 5,000 Mark Note P: 81D Grades Select AU. In the early 1920s, post-WWI Germany saw its economy spiraling out of control. Hyperinflation started ...moredirectly after the war in 1918, but truly took over the Weimar Republic from 1921 to 1923. The value of the Mark declined incredibly rapidly. 1 USD was equal to 50 German Marks at the beginning of 1920. Toward the end of 1923, 1 USD was equal to over 4,200,000,000,000 German Marks. At times, denominations of the Mark became less valuable than the paper and labor to print it almost immediately after printing. Thus, denominations of the Mark notes became incredibly large, ending up in the tens of trillions.

1922 Weiamr Germany 500 Mark Note P: 73 Grades vf++

Lot # 23 (Sale Order: 16 of 1881)

1922 Weiamr Germany 500 Mark Note P: 73 Grades vf++. Notgeld is German for "emergency/necessity money". Notgeld typically refers to German and Austrian notes produ...moreced in the post-WWI period. Somewhat similar to Depression Scrip in the USA, these notes were issued when there wasn'te nough state-produced money available from the central bank. Issuing institutions were often a town's savings banks, municipalities, or private or state-owned firms. Nearly all issues contained an expiry date, after which time they were invalid. Issues without dates ordinarily had an expiry announced in a newspaper or at the place of issuance.
