***Auction Highlight*** 1893-p Morgan Dollar TOP POP! $1 Graded ms62+ DMPL By SEGS (fc)

Lot # 1792 (Sale Order: 1353 of 1496)

***Auction Highlight*** 1893-p TOP POP! Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms62+ DMPL By SEGS. Up for Auction is a true Numismatic Rarity. An 1893-p Morgan in DMPL. Its one t...morehing to come across a numismatic rarity in a niche type series, but to come across it in one of, if not the most widely collected series is incredible. I have never seen a DMPL in 1893 in all my years in numismatics. I could not believe it when it came upon my eyes. The Mirrored fields are just that. True Mirrors. Please closely examine the closeup mirror pics. The Cameo is superb. To Quote PCGS “Availability of proof like coins: True proof like coins are rare, and DMPL coins are exceedingly rare. Only a few exist.” To further quote them “Proof like coins: Proof like coins are very rare, and DMPL pieces are exceedingly rare.” In fact they are so rare, that in the Wholesale dealer Greysheet, no 1893-p in DMPL is even listed! PCGS estimates that 12 PL examples exist. Our coin is NO PL, it is a DMPL with sharp deep mirrors. PCGS has only ever graded 7 coins as PL, none above 62 PL. In DMPL PCGS has only ever graded 4 coins DMPL, again none above ms62 DMPL . I am including pictures of the lone ms61 dmpl and lone ms62 dmpl to go to auction. They sold for $14,950 and $14,375. One in 2008 and one in 2005. None at auction in the last 12 years….UNTIL Tonight. I will also add that the lone ms62 DMPL, was in an OGH, Old Green Holder, and as any long time coin person will tell you, PCGS’s standards for PL and DMPL years ago, when they used the Old Green Holder was much less strict than today. I am 100% certain that that ms62 DMPL if graded today would not get DMPL, it might not even get PL. Trends on an ms62 DMPL is $25,000. I do believe you are looking at the single finest known 1893-p DMPL. I wish you good fortune and good luck in securing this once in a lifetime opportunity. It has been a true pleasure to be its caretaker this past month A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

***Auction Highlight*** 1871-cc Gold Liberty Double Eagle Winter 1-A $20 Graded au50 details By SEGS

Lot # 1794 (Sale Order: 1355 of 1496)

***Auction Highlight*** 1871-cc Winter 1-A Gold Liberty Double Eagle $20 Graded au50 details By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT – Up for Auction is one of the scarces...moret dates in the entire Liberty $20 series, the 1871-cc. Winter 1-A, the only known dies. The 1871-CC is a well known rarity among CC-Mint Twenties, being second only to the undisputed key to the series of Carson City Double Eagles, the 1870-CC. Only 17,387 pieces were struck, but this only partially explains the issue's rarity, as heavy circulation in the West took a heavy toll on both the quality and quantity of survivors. While abrasions on this uncommonly high grade representative are fairly numerous, few merit individual attention, The mark on the neck and one above the date, but neither is distracting or excessive. This issue is almost always found heavily circulated and bagmarked. While numerous ticks, nicks, and digs are softened by 10 points of wear, the overall impression of this coin is smooth and appealing. The reason for the details grade is not apparent, as there are zero hairlines or any overt signs of cleaning or improper handling. I could easily see this terrific coin in a straight grade holder. Mint luster remains at the margins and glows among the devices, especially on the reverse. I am including three examples for your comparison. Two are details coins themselves, both au50 and two straight grade xf45 that I think fairly represents the issue. I think this coin should command no less than $45,000 at this auction. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

***Auction Highlight*** 1889-cc Morgan Dollar $1 Graded au58 Details By SEGS (fc)

Lot # 1797 (Sale Order: 1358 of 1496)

***Auction Highlight*** 1889-cc Morgan Dollar $1 Graded au58 Details By SEGS. Up for Auction is the King of the Carson City Morgans, The legendary 1889-cc. The 18...more89-CC is the lesser of the two Morgan dollar keys, being modestly more available than the 1893-S. Yet, it is far and away the scarcest Carson City issue, and it is arguably more widely sought than the 1893-S due to the subset of collectors seeking to assemble only the Carson City Mint collection; For those collectors, the 1889-CC is the capstone of the set. Examples of this issue are occasionally seen in Mint State, although eye appeal varies widely. This Borderline Uncirculated example has the faintest trace of friction over the eagle's breast and Liberty's cheek but retains full luster in the fields. One stray mark in the obverse accounts for the details grades, but it is not distracting at all. The brilliant, vibrant cartwheel effect is exceptional and eye-catching, and only light handling marks are evident. I have included another au58 for your comparison. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

Despite its ne...morearly million-piece mintage, the 1867-S exists almost exclusively in circulated condition. Uncirculated examples congregate at the lowest levels (MS60 to MS61), with a solitary MS63 coin at the top of the Condition Census. Overall, the 1867-S is considered the second-rarest Type Two twenty from the San Francisco Mint. Many pieces were melted, while others simply disappeared by attrit A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

***Auction Highlight*** 1801 Draped Bust $10 Gold Eagle BD-2 Graded ms62 details By SEGS (fc)

Lot # 1805 (Sale Order: 1366 of 1496)

***Auction Highlight*** 1801 BD-2 Draped Bust $10 Gold Eagle Graded ms62 details By SEGS. Up fo auction is a super 1801 $10 Draped Bust Gold Eagle. Later obverse ...moredie state, with "spines" in the cap. The 1801 BD-2 early eagle is a popular variety. The present MS62 details example is reflective and somewhat proof like, showing a few light, insignificant marks that constitute the grade. Some very faint hairlines on the obverse are the only possible reason for the details designation, and I can easily see it in a straight ms62 holder. The strike is quite sharp overall, save for minor weakness on the fletching's and left shield border at the lower reverse. ***Auction Highlight*** 1904-p Morgan Dollar Vam 5A R5 $1 Graded GEM+ Unc By USCG (fc)

Lot # 1811 (Sale Order: 1372 of 1496)

***Auction Highlight*** 1904-p Vam 5A R5 Morgan Dollar $1 Graded GEM+ Unc By USCG. This pretty Gem exhibits brilliant silvery tone free surfaces, and both sides ar...moree sharply struck with smooth, frosty mint luster. One of the scarcer Philadelphia Mint Morgan dollars in Mint State, the 1904 was not widely represented in any silver dollar releases from government holdings during the middle decades of the 20th century. Q. David Bowers (1993) talks of releases "in the 1941-1942 years, in the 1950s and again in the early 1960s, but, apparently, there was no major release at any specific time." With the typical survivor grading no finer than MS-64 by today's strict standards, the premium quality Gem offered here offers both absolute scarcity and condition rarity that will appeal to the advanced Morgan dollar enthusiast. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation
