The TSG-50B is an NTSC test generator featuring multiple patterns. It offers a timer for creating tape leaders, multiple outputs for Black Burst or Sync and an audio test signal for the user's convenience.

The TSG-50 generates 12 user selectable NTSC test patterns for production and engineering use. A sync pulse is generated and provided on a separate connection for those devices requiring this signal for reference.

A selectable 30 or 60 second timer is provided for tape striping and duplication applications. It gives bars and tone for the selected time period and then switches to black burst. An audio tone is generated featuring a 1 KHz/400 Hz signal for the user audio applications.
