Multi-piece nickel and brass four-domed rivet construction with black enamel. This was awarded for meritorious service towards the war effort. Front shows a black enameled swastika with an eight-pointed starburst in the background. Round nickel oak leaf wreath is dated 1941 at the base. Wide vertical pin back is maker-marked 1 with a c-catch. Measures 2 9/16 inches wide by 2 9/16 inches tall.

Reverse has an OD green wool backing. Tank is die-struck metal construction. Measures 3 3/4 inches wide by 1 1/8 inches tall.
