Army HEER 1940 NARVIK Sleeve Shield
Stamped nickel construction with a metal back plate. This was to have been worn on the upper left sleeve of the uniform. Front shows a German eagle clutching a swastika at the top and Edelweiss with an anchor and propeller below. Reads NARVIK and is dated 1940. Green wool backing with tan paper on reverse. Measures 2 1/8 inches wide by 4 inches tall.

Thin vertical T-bar style pin back with a c-catch. Two-piece two-domed rivet die-struck nickel and brass construction. P/O badge measures 2 1/2 inches wide by 2 1/16 inches tall. Presentation named dark blue leatherette case measures 3 1/4 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches tall by 1 1/8 inches deep.
