Boxed German WWII 2nd Class Clasp to the Iron Cross
One-piece die-struck silver-plated nickel construction. This was awarded for receiving a 2nd Class Iron Cross in World War I and World War II for gallantry in combat action. Front shows a German eagle clutching a swastika in his talons with a 1939 bar at the base. Reverse is maker-marked L/11. Four flat horizontal prongs on reverse. Two-piece LDO cardboard presentation box measures 2 inches wide by 2 9/16 inches tall by 5/8 inches deep. Measures 1 1/4 inches wide by 1 1/4 inches tall.
