One piece die struck aluminum construction. Front shows a Luftwaffe flying eagle clutching a swastika in his talons. Reverse side is maker marked A for the manufacturing firm of Assmann and Sohn. Thin horizontal pin back with a c-catch. This eagle was worn above the right pocket of the summer uniform. Measures 3 1/4 inches wide by 1 5/8 inches tall.

RARE. Front shows a swastika in the center of a four armed maltese cross. Pair of crossed swords in the background. Reverse side is dated 1939. Includes the oblong suspension loop at the top. One piece die struck nickel construction. This neck order decoration was awarded for gallantry in combat action above and beyond the call of duty. Measures 2 1/8 inches wide by 2 3/8 inches tall.
