Colt SAA Revolver in .45 L.C. caliber with a 4 ¾” barrel, patina finish, and hard rubber grips, S/N 184874 made about 1899. Good metal surfaces with strong traces of b...morelue and case within darkened natural patina. Good address and markings. The front sight is its unaltered full height. The grips are worn with large chip from the left heel but fit impeccably and undoubtedly the originals. Tight action and bore shows wear and only fair but may clean. Estate consigned. Factory letter states .45/c, 4 ¾” barrel, blue finish, stocks not listed, Shipped to: Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company, Chicago, Illionis, March 29, 1899, 3 guns in shipment. Remarks state the records also contain another listing for his serial number that indicates the revolver was a .41 caliber with a 7 ½” barrel and a blue finish. The pistol is in good to very good overall condition retaining 80-90% of the original...more finish with minor erosion and slight surface rust noted, mostly on the side plate. All matching numbers, including the magazine with fine toning on the front sight and no import marks. 18th Century Cavalry style saber with cast brass hilt and lion head pommel similar to design by Potter. 42" overall with 35 1/2" blade measuring 1 3/8" at widest part ...moreof back with double blood grooves running 3/4" length down curved blade with early wide point. The back area of blade shows old repair and coloring from heat being applied to straiten or fix dent on right about 6 1/4" down blade and 1" wide. The front of blade it's natural color with some chips at edge and small battle losses. Also some minor pitting and erosion. Hilt is very good with light natural pitting. Should be further researched as a possibility of American mfg. or British about time of Revolution. Est.$1000-2000

The pistol retains 50-70% of the original blue finish with a similar amount of vivid case hardening on the frame with all matching visible serial numbers. The checkered rubber grips are in very good condition. The pistol includes a Colt Factory letter confirming all features with the type of stock not listed. The letter indicates the pistol left the factory on February 15, 1922 and was shipped to the Harper & Reynolds Company of Los Angeles, California with a total of two guns in shipment. The rifle retains nearly all of the parkerized military finish with all matching correct H&R parts. The smooth wood stock has crisp cartouches with the eagle inspection marks on the left side at the wrist and a Circle P behind the trigger guard. The lot includes a correct period canvas sling. The butt stock ends with a checkered steel butt plate with trap containing a correct cleaning rod and stuck case remover. The bore is bright, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this all-correct H&R Garand. Est.: $1,400-$2,800. (C+R).

Winchester Matched 1 of 1,000 set with hard wood display case. The lot includes a Winchester Model 9422M with a 20 ½” barrel and full-length magazine in .22 Wincheste...morer Magnum caliber, Serial #MR130. The rifle is marked, “Matched set of One Thousand” on the right side of the barrel. The receiver and lever are finished in gold tone with high relief engraved game scenes. The finely checkered Walnut stock is finished in high gloss. The second rifle is a Winchester Model 94 lever action rifle with a 24” round barrel also finished in blue and gold with a full-length magazine, also Serial #MR130. The rifle is also relief engraved with game scenes and finished in gold and blue. The lot includes a hard wood display case measuring 47” x 13” lined in red velveteen in very good condition with light scratches and handling marks. Both rifles are in 98-99% condition with the factory cardboard sleeves and all associated packaging materials. Est.: $1,400-$2,800. (C+R).

1918 dated DWM Artillery Luger semi-automatic pistol, 9mm caliber, Serial #4108. The pistol is in 85-90% plus original finish and is all matching numbers except the m...moreagazine. The markings are good, the bore is very good the action is crisp with some wear to the grips and no import marks. The right grip is period inscribed inside the panel in Russian, possibly indicating WWII service on the Eastern Front. Please refer to the catalog photo as the inscription is absolutely of the period in our opinion. The lot also includes a newer wooden case with assorted tools, cleaning rod and a note of explanation regarding the grip inscription. The translation reads, “Ship of the Navy “RED PINE” Kolpino-Ivan Makarovich Mikovoz”. The note states this is the inscription in the left grip of the 1918 Artillery Luger. Est.: $1,500-$3,000. Good sharp Colt slide markings and all other markings also sharp and crisp. “HP” proof on the barrel. Checkered wood 1911A1 style grips in very good condition. All correct military small parts and 2 tone mag. Good action and bright bore. Interesting and should bear further research as to this number which is “Out of Range” for S-12 proof and 1918 era other specs on this 1911. Shilo-Sharps Model 1874 single shot rifle, .45-70 caliber, Serial #B546. The rifle is in fine to nearly excellent overall condition with a 30” medium weight octagon b...morearrel with a German silver blade front and ladder style rear sights. The barrel retains 96-97% of the matte blue finish with sharp edges and markings. The receiver is nicely case hardened with vivid color and marked, “SHILOH RIFLE MFG. CO. BIG TIMBER, MONTANA” on the left side and double set triggers. The smooth wood stock is in very good condition with a Schnabel fore end. The butt stock ends with a smooth steel butt plate with nice case colors, providing a 13 ¾” LOP to the front trigger. The bore is excellent and the action is crisp on this lightly used Shilo-Sharps in the venerable .45-70 chambering without the normal three year wait. Est.: $1,000-$2,000. (Modern).

Classic and large spear point Bowie knife marked, “Joseph Hawksley’s Celebrated” with semi-coffin shaped grip with pearl scales and German silver mountings. Original ...morescabbard with tip, throat and button hanger. The blade measures 9 ¾” and the knife is 14 ¼” overall. The blade measures 1 ½” wide at the thickest point and is finely ground from thick stock. The blade is good to very good with scattered erosion and minor pitting but full original dimensions with considerable original polish. The scabbard is also good to very good with minor aging. The pearl scales are near fine. There is a hole through the front bolster behind the guard for a lanyard loop. A classic and high quality knife circa 1850-1870. Est.: $1,400-2,800
