The pistol retains nearly all of its nickel finish with ornate engraving and a sharp Rampant Colt emblem at the left rear of the slide. The smooth pearl grips are in very good condition. Winchester Model 1876 lever action rifle, .45-60 caliber, 28” octagon barrel, top barrel flat behind rear sight stamped “Freund’s Patent/June 29, 1880” with the same ...morestamping on the base of the rear sight, plain trigger; brown patina with traces of muted blued finish on metal surfaces, wood stocks, four-section cleaning rod in butt trap, S/N 12782. Factory letter confirms features and notes received in warehouse on April 29, 1881 and shipped the same day to Order number 25005; overall good condition with good action, good markings and good bore; wood stocks are overall good with some old mars to butt stock and an old small sliver loss to the right top side of the wrist. Freund markings on any gun are highly sought after by collectors. NOTE: An old time collector bought this rifle from the descendants of Tom Horn, the Western personality, in Long Beach, California 30 years ago. Little Johns sold a group of guns and artifacts from this family on November 19th & 20th, 2000. (Antique). Est.: $4,000-$8,000.

Griffin & Howe Custom bolt action sporting rifle, .276 Newton P.O. Ackley Improved caliber, Serial #2022. This early Griffin & Howe rifle is in fine overall condition...more with a 24” barrel with a banded front ramp sight and the rear sight removed. The metal surfaces retain the majority of their blue finish with the barrel address reading, GRIFFIN & HOWE INC. NEW YORK”. Additionally, the barrel is marked, “P.O. ACKLEY .276 NWT.” The action is a converted Model of 1917 Remington which has been customized with a Griffin & Howe side scope mount base and Lyman aperture sight (missing the insert) added. The magazine follower has been engine turned and the bolt handle is checkered. The finely checkered Walnut stock features an ebony fore end cap and is in very good condition with wear consistent with field use. The butt stock has a blank silver escutcheon plate, beaded cheek piece and ends with a solid rubber recoil pad providing a 14” LOP. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp. This revolver shows tight and well detailed Germanic scrolls with typical L.D.N. ropes and borders. The pistol remains in near fine condition with 95%+ original nickel, sharp address and crisp edges. Some minor aging on the front of the cylinder. The grips are near fine with pleasing yellow patina and slight aging with impeccable fit. Stevens Conlin type .22 Tip-Up Target Pistol period engraved with rich gold and blue finish, pearl grips and inscribed on butt “May C Anton” or “Canton”. 8” half round...more/half octagon barrel, S/N 19145. Unusual adjustable for windage target type rear sight and match high bead front sight. Near fine condition with 80%-90% blue turning plum on barrel, 90%-95% toning rich gold plating, fine original pearl showing one small chip to bottom left grips. Bright bore with most original finish on small parts and screws. Very reminiscent of fold Stevens known to have belonged to Annie Oakley and the identity of Miss May could be as a trick shooter or Wild West performer who we could not locate. However in the 19th to early 20th century there were many shooting exhibitions in Europe that are not easily researched by computer search. A beautiful Stevens. (Antique) Est.: $4000-$8000

Sharps Model 1874 Sporting rifle, .40 caliber, 30” octagon barrel, 12 pounds in weight, double set triggers (working at time of description), wood stocks, S/N 156731; ...more accompanied by factory letter dated July 4, 2000, confirming caliber, barrel length and weight; with invoicing at the Bridgeport factory on March 22, 1876 to Claus Lohder, Jenny Lind, Calaveras County, California. The letter further states “Lohder was a private customer ordering directly from the factory and was given this substantial discount ($42 less 20%) owing to the fact that he ordered 7 Sporting Rifles at this time, along with 7 sets of reloading implements, 6 sets of globe and peep sights made to order with a split bar, 2 ball swages, 1100 shells .40 – 2-1/4 inch and 7M primers. The total of the order, less discount and including packing case and cartage, came to $311.20”. Also included with this lot are 6 ORIGINAL very rare letters between Lohder and the Sharps Factory including the original order! The Sharps is in overall good condition with an even brown

Colt Model 1849 Pocket Model in .31 caliber percussion with 6” barrel remaining in excellent original condition, S/N 163258 and made 1860. Two line address with 5 shot...more cylinder. This Colt shows 80%-90% bright and “Inky” blue finish with some minor drifting, light scratches and beginning age. The cylinder shows 60%-70% original bright blue with virtually all its scene. The frame and rammer show 90%-95% bright and fiery original vivid case colors. 30%-50% silver (Darkened) on straps. The grips show 90% plus original varnish with only minor imperfections and 1 notable scratch on right side. All matching visible numbers and sharp overall. Rare Winchester Model 23 Classic side by side shotgun, .410 gauge, Serial #CL410-958E. The shotgun is in fine overall condition with 26” barrels with a full-length fi...moreled rib and ivory bead sights. The barrels are marked for 2 ¾” or 3” shells and made in Japan. The shotgun retains nearly all of its blue finish with only light handling marks. The receiver is engraved with game scenes and a gold inlayed quail decorates the bottom of the receiver. The finely checkered wood stocks are in excellent condition showing sharp checkering and little use, with a blank escutcheon plate at the base of the butt stock. The butt ends with a solid rubber recoil pad providing a 14 ½” LOP to a single gold trigger. The lot includes a Winchester luggage case with maroon baize interior. Est.: $2,500-$5,000. (Modern).

Colt Single Action Army United States Animal Special Edition Wyoming revolver, .45 caliber, Serial #92898SA. The pistol is as new in the factory fitted wooden case. ...moreThe pistol features a 7 ½” barrel with gold bands at the muzzle and in front of the cylinder, A Grade engraving and vivid case colors on the frame. The pistol is factory engraved with gold inlay including a great buffalo head at the left rear of the action. The pistol has nice smooth ivory grips. The lot includes a factory letter dated April 22, 1982 indicating the pistol was shipped on March 20, 1978 to Fin Feather Sport Shop in Omaha Nebraska. The letter confirms all features and notes the Walnut presentation case with plaque inscription: “Western States Animal Special Edition Wyoming 1 of 1”. The letter further remarks, the firearms special features including two gold barrel bands, two gold cylinder bands, gold outline on frame, numbers 1 of 1 inlaid in gold and a gold inlayed buffalo. The Walnut display case is in very good condition with burgundy velvet interior. Est.: $4,000-$8,000.
