Custom CZ Model 550 Magnum sporting rifle, .330 Dakota caliber, Serial #C2289. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 25” barrel. The metal surfaces retain ne...morearly all of their blue finish with only light handling marks noted. The finely checkered Black walnut stock was completed by American Custom Gunstocks of Yuba City and features a cross bolt to mitigate recoil, Jerry Fisher grip cap and beautiful fiddle back figure in the butt stock. The butt stock ends with a Decelerator solid rubber recoil pad providing a 13 ¾” LOP. The rifle is topped with CZ proprietary scope bases, rings and a Zeiss Conquest 3 x 9 x 40 variable power rifle scope with clear, crisp optics. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this first rate sporting rifle. The .330 Dakota is based on the .404 Jeffery cartridge necked down to .338 caliber. The lot includes a set of custom RCBS reloading dies and brass. Est.: $1,400-$2,800. (Modern).

Winchester Quail Special over/under shotgun, .410 gauge, Serial #25410414E. The shotgun is in fine overall condition with 25 ½” barrels with a full-length ventilated ...morerib and ivory bead sights. The barrel retains nearly all of its blue finish and is marked for 2 ¾” or 3” shells. The barrels are choked Full and Modified. The receiver is coin finished and beautifully engraved with ornate game scenes and scroll on both sides featuring quail and a retriever. The underside of the action is marked, “WINCHESTER QUAIL SPECIAL” and features a single gold trigger. The finely checkered wood stock with fleur d lis design is in very good condition with small mars from handling and storage. The butt ends with a solid rubber recoil pad providing a 14 ¼” LOP. The bores are good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this desirable shotgun. Est.: $2,500-$5,000. (Modern).

Model 1840 Cavalry Sabre with steel scabbard. The 1840 wrist breaker is in good overall condition with a 35 5/8” blade. The blade shows light to moderate staining al...moreong the full length with small nicks and light surface erosion. The blade does not appear to have been sharpened. The blade is marked, “C & J” at the ricasso for Clement & Jung of Solingen, Germany who were prominent manufacturers of the period. The leather handle with wire wrap is in good condition with a brass handguard and pommel. The metal scabbard is a dark brown patina with small dents and the hangers are retained. This is a nice example of a Civil War era cavalry sabre. Est.: $300-$600.
