Winchester Model 1911 SL semi-automatic shotgun, 12 gauge, Serial #33193. The shotgun is in good overall condition with a 28” barrel with a blade front sight. The b...morearrel shows significant thinning blue with the remainder going to silver patina and is marked, “FULL”. The receiver retains a considerable amount of thinning blue finish with light surface rust on the left side. The smooth wood stocks are in good condition with mars and compressions consistent with heavy use. The butt stock ends with a rubber slip-on pad providing a 14” LOP. The bore is fair, the action functions and the markings are sharp. Est.: $200-$400. (C+R).

19JG-4 GERMAN SXS SHOTGUN

Antique German side by side hammer shotgun, 16 gauge, Serial #NSNV. The shotgun is in good overall condition with 26 ½” barrels with a full-length rib and brass bead ...morefront sight. The barrels are an even brown patina with the receiver a silvered case hardening. The under lever action shows beautiful engraved game scenes with scroll. The action is tight on face and functions well. The smooth wood stock has seen heavy use with mars and compressions consistent with field use. There is a well accomplished repair at the fore end and a beaded cheek piece at the butt. The horn finger rest behind the trigger guard is complete and intact. The butt stock ends with a smooth steel butt plate providing a 14” LOP. The bores are fair, the action functions and the markings are crisp. Est.: $300-$600. (Antique).

19VM-6 EARLY RUGER NO.1 CARBINE

Lot # 149 (Sale Order: 153 of 1574)      

Ruger No. 1-A Light Sporter single shot rifle, 7 x 57 caliber, Serial #130-27910. The rifle is in very good to nearly fine overall condition with a 22” barrel with q...moreuarter rib, folding rear sight and banded ramped blade with brass bead front sight. The metal surfaces retain nearly all of their blue finish with some surface erosion evident along the right side of the tang and action. The barrel is marked, “MADE IN THE 200TH YEAR OF AMERICAN LIBERTY” indicating the rifles manufacture date of 1976. The checkered pistol grip Walnut stock with Alexander Henry fore end shows beautiful figure in the butt stock and ends with a red Ruger marked solid rubber recoil pad. The rifle is topped with Ruger rings and a Bushnell Scope Chief fixed 4x rifle scope with clear crisp optics. The bore is very good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this desirable Ruger. Est.: $600-$900. (Modern).

Ace Powell original charcoal drawing of two bear cubs. The charcoal measures 28” x 22” and depicts two bear cubs running from a hornet’s nest. Nicely frame and matte...mored by noted Montana artist Ace Powell. The work is signed and marked with Powell’s trademark ace of diamonds in the bottom left corner. Influenced by fellow Montana artist Charles M. Russell, Powell was regarded as one of America’s great Western artists. Powell died in Kalispell, Montana in 1978. Est.: $250-$500.

Golden Eagle Firearms Model 7000 bolt action rifle, .25-06 Remington caliber, Serial #N007006. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 24” barrel. The metal s...moreurfaces retain nearly all of their high polish blue finish with only light storage marks noted. The front ring is marked, “MADE IN JAPAN BY NIKKO”. The finely checkered wood stock is in very good condition with beautiful figure, mineral streaking and fiddle back in the buttstock. According to the consignor the rifle was once used as a display rifle. The stock features Rosewood fore end cap, Golden Eagle pistol grip and the butt ends with a ventilated rubber pad providing a 14” LOP to a gold trigger. The bore is good, the action crisp and markings are sharp. The rifle is topped with Redfield two-piece bases and rings. Est.: $700-$1,400. (Modern).

Ornately decorated Indian Matchlock rifle, .64 caliber. The rifle is 66” in total length with a 47” barrel in very good overall condition. According to the consignor...more, the Rajasthan Indian rifle dates from the late 18th to early 19th century. The barrel remains in the white with areas of light surface rust. The stock is in very good condition, ornately hand painted with folk art depicting lions, boar, hare and other beasts. This is a labor intensive piece that one would expect belonged to a person of means, not a trade rifle. Est.: $600-$1,200. (Antique).

The receiver retains a significant amount of its muted blue finish with edge wear and small scratches. A period Marbles tang sight has been added during the period of use. The smooth wood stocks are in very good condition with small mars and handling marks. The butt stock ends with a checkered steel butt plate.
