German miner’s sword Imperial. Stamped “MOHR & SPETER//BERLIN. Slightly curved 34½” long blade is triple acid etched, with panoply of arms and floral leaf motifs on ...moreboth sides of nickeled blade. The spine is partially half-etched with floral design. Plain dove-head P-shaped brass guard with slightly worn sharkskin covered grip and triple wire wrap. Mining hammers are on the obverse languet. Leather covered scabbard retains only the throat fitting with frog. Chape is missing. The leather is split near the tip and partially taped. Overall 39¼”. Est.: $200-$400

The sharkskin covered wood grip is slightly worn out in places and with double twisted wire. Straight 32½” blade is triple fullered along ¾ of the blade, ending in double fullers. Acid erched "Eisenhauer // Garantirt" on reverse and “Carl Loose Nache // Hofflieferant Leipzig” on obverse. The Obverse has the Crown over “AR” at the ricasso. Blade is pitted in sections. Blade is etched “Eisenhauer”. Spine of blade is etched “M. Neumann, Berlin//Hoflieferant” (supplier). Gilt bronze hilt with full lion head set with red stone eyes. P-Shaped knuckle bow with stylized leaf design. Back of Grip is scrolled leaf and floral motif. Sharkskin covered wood grip is missing the twisted wire wrap. Gilt brass ferrule has a laurel leaf pattern. Languet with crossed cannon. Scrolled leaf quillon has been re-bent and is partially cracked. No scabbard. Overall 38½”L and 7/8” at ricasso. Blade is acid etched on Ter...morezside with Crossed Oar & Trident; Crowned Anchor; Sailing Ship; Arabesque design. Quartside has Scrolled Leaf Motif; Crowned Anchor; Sailing Ship. Crisscrossed edge motif. Blade appears to have been rebent near tip. Carved 9-Rib bone grip with twisted wire. Lion-Head pommel with full mane, green and red eyes, no tabs. Plain 4-line Ferrule. Folding Languet with locking hole. Large pierced guard has fouled anchor with chain, and imperial crown with Pendilien. Scrolled shell motif, with gilt brass backing plate on Guard. No scabbard. Blade is 30½” L & 35½” overall. Est.: $250-$500
