High Standard Model 102 Supermatic Trophy Semi Automatic Target Pistol

Lot # 1127 (Sale Order: 126 of 384)

High Standard Model 102 Supermatic Trophy Semi Automatic Target Pistol

Our Assessment: High Standard had a long history of manufacturing target pistols going back to before WWII, so they had lots of time to perfect the design. Their line of pistols changed significantly throughout their history and they even moved their factory from Hamden to Hartford in 1977. The Trophy was the top of the line in the Supermatic series. This example comes with a 8" barrel with barrel weights and compensator installed. The Supermatic Trophy was designed as a high-end target pistol with a Patridge front side and a target rear sight adjustable for elevation and windage. It has a trigger that is adjustable for pull weight as well as over-travel. This Trophy shows light use and remains in Great shape. The Supermatic Trophy models are a desirable piece among collectors, but should also prove to still be one of the finest rimfire target pistols around. Please see our photos, good luck and happy bidding! Robert

1977 High Standard "The Victor" Model 9216 .22 LR Target Pistol, & Box

Lot # 1128 (Sale Order: 127 of 384)

1977 High Standard "The Victor" .22LR Semi Automatic Target Pistol, Model 9216 & Box

Our Assessment: High Standard had a long history of manufacturing target pistols going back to before WWII, so they had lots of time to perfect the design. The Victor was added to High Standard's military model line in 1971 and incorporated a feature frequently added to High Standard pistols by gunsmiths for target shooters, a sight rib. Originally, the model was offered with a ventilated steel rib, later weight was reduced by making the ribs from alloy and a solid rib option was added to the Victor model. Later, the solid ribs would be discontinued and only the alloy vent-ribs were offered, seen on this example. This example was made in 1977 and has a 4 1/2" slab-side barrel with one weight installed. The pistol is in excellent condition, appearing to have spent more time in its factory box than out. This should make someone an outstanding target pistol that should easily rival most of the newer target pistols being MANUFACTURED today. That said, in its high condition, it will also likely draw the eyes of collectors.

Make: High Standard

Model: The Victor

Serial Number: ML28178

Grip Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered walnut with a thumb-shelf on the left panel for a right-handed shooter. The grips have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The checkering is well defined. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in about excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 10 out of 10.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about excellent condition.

1960's Swiss Military SIG Model P49 P210 9mm Semi Automatic Pistol

Lot # 1129 (Sale Order: 128 of 384)

Sharp 1960's Swiss Military SIG Model P49 P210 9mm Semi Automatic Pistol

Our Assessment: The P210 pistol was originally MANUFACTURED in 1947 and became the standard military pistol of the Swiss Army in 1949, thus the Military designation P49. It was MANUFACTURED continuously for over 55 years. The pistols were decommissioned and replaced by the SIG P220 (Swiss Army designation Pistole 75) but P210s are greatly valued by shooting sports competitors. The Swiss military used the "A" serial number prefix and these were stamped "P" when they were decommissioned which we can observe on this example. This one has been kept in immaculate condition by its previous owner and comes with one magazine and a holster! These guns are regarded by collectors as one of, if not, the best-constructed handgun ever, and the originals are always increasing in value. It should be a great investment and a wonderful addition to your collection. Please see our photos and good luck!

Make: SIG

Model: P49 (Swiss Military P210)

Serial Number: A126114

Year of Manufacture: 1951-1969

There is a Swiss Cross in a shield on the top of the slide ahead of the rear sight. The left side of the frame is marked with a small proof and also "P" on the bow of the trigger guard.

Barrel Length: 4 3/4"

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated, ramped blade dovetailed into the barrel. The rear sight is a "U" notch base dovetailed into the slide. The top of the slide in front of the ejection port is serrated for glare reduction.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The two-piece grips are checkered black plastic with grooves on the backstraps. The grips show some minor marks and scracthes to the smooth borders. The checkering is mostly sharp with a few damaged peaks. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in about Fine condition.

Type of Finish: Matte Black

The front edges have some thinning. There is a bit of faint mottled thinning on the front strap, hardly noticeable. There are a few freckles of discoloration on the trigger. It appears a light portion of the grip screw head has been cut and there is a straight edge. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide-to-frame fit is snug. The trigger is crisp. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is an 8-round magazine and a leather flap holster. The magazine has some light thinning to the body from use and some finish loss and little scuffs to the baseplate, in about Fine condition. Roy Rogers Dale Evans Colt Lightning .38 LC Double Action Revolver, 1902 C&R

Lot # 1131 (Sale Order: 129 of 384)

Roy Rogers Dale Evans Colt Lightning .38 LC Double Action Revolver, 1902 C&R

Our Assessment: The Colt M1877 was a double action revolver MANUFACTURED by Colt's Patent Fire Arms from January 1877 to 1909 for a total of 166,849 revolvers. The Model 1877 was offered in three calibers, which lent them three unofficial names: the "Lightning", the "Thunderer", and the "Rainmaker". The principal difference between the models was the cartridge in which they were chambered: the "Lightning" being chambered in .38 Long Colt; the "Thunderer" in .41 Long Colt. An earlier model in .32 Colt known as the "Rainmaker" was offered in 1877. The M1877 was designed by one of the inventors of the M1873 Colt Single Action Army, William Mason, as Colt's first attempt at manufacturing a double-action revolver and was also the first successful US-made double-action cartridge revolver. Neither "Lightning" nor "Thunderer" were Colt designations, nor used by the factory in any reference materials. Both terms were coined by Benjamin Kittredge, one of Colt's major distributors, who was also responsible for the term "Peacemaker" for the Single Action Army. Old West Outlaw John Wesley Hardin frequently used both "Lightning" and "Thunderer" versions of the Colt 1877 revolver. This Lightning is outstanding not only for its condition, both cosmetic and mechanical, and not only for coming from the personal collection of noted gun writer, NRA Field editor and winner of the John T. Amber Literary Award, Rick Hacker (apologies, Mr. Hacker). This an outstanding opportunity for collectors as this revolver came from the Roy Rogers - Dale Evans Museum and was personally owned by the Singing Cowboy and Cowgirl. This documented not only in a letter of authenticity from the museum, but also in a personal letter to Mr. Hacker from Roy "Dusty" Rogers Jr. A copy of the article Mr. Hacker writer for American Rifleman about Roy Rogers is also included, and the custom presentation case housing the revolver makes this ready for display in your collection. Please see our photos and good luck!

The grips have light-moderate handling wear with areas of smoothed checkering. There are some light nicks and scratches. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the non-original grips are in Good-Very Good condition.

"The Rifleman" Chuck Connor's Winchester 1892 Carbine With Documentation

Lot # 1132 (Sale Order: 130 of 384)

Our Assessment:Coming from the Rick Hacker Collection, this rifle has provenance from the Chuck Connors Productions and Estate as well as other photographs to show that Winchester 1892 Carbine, serial number 756277 was owned personally by Chuck Connors. Best known for “The Rifleman” series that first aired in 1958 and wrapped production in 1963, Connors is also one of the very few athletes to play in both the MLB and the NBA, for the Dodgers and Celtics, respectively. The rifle was custom built for Connors by Canadian gunsmith Moe Hunt, one of a pair made to replicate the rifles used on set for “The Rifleman”. The lever has a set screw that is adjustable for the TV character’s signature rapid fire on the TV show and was removable for when the scene needed Connor’s character to fire a single shot using the trigger conventionally. Noted gun writer, NRA Field Editor and winner of the John T. Amber Literary Award Rick Hacker obtained this rifle from the Chuck Connors estate and it has since featured in a number of Mr. Hacker’s articles. This is a rifle that will capture the hearts of every kid that ever wanted to be Lucas McCain. Don’t miss your chance to own a piece of Western history!

Winchester Model 1892 .44 WCF 20" Lever Action Carbine

Lot # 1133 (Sale Order: 131 of 384)

Winchester Model 1892 .44 WCF 20" Lever Action Carbine

Our Assessment: The 1892 followed the 1886 and is basically its little brother, the same design for pistol calibers. When asked by Winchester to design an improved pistol caliber lever action, John Browning said he would have the prototype completed in under a month or it would be free. Within 2 weeks, Browning had a functioning prototype of the 92. Calibers for the rifle vary and some are custom-chambered. The original rounds were the .32-20, .38-40, and .44-40 Winchester centerfire rounds, followed in 1895 by the new .25-20. This rifle is a saddle ring carbine chambered for .44 W.C.F. Made in 1918, the rifle is in outstanding condition. It retains 97% of its current metal finish with a great bore, strong mechanics and minor wear in the stocks. While the strong bore means that this should still be a great shooter, its high condition will also be of interest to the collectors. Please see our pictures and good luck!

ANTIQUE Winchester Model 1894 .30 WCF 26" Lever Action Rifle, MFd 1898

Lot # 1134 (Sale Order: 132 of 384)

ANTIQUE Winchester Model 1894 .30 WCF 26" Lever Action Rifle, MFd 1898

Our Assessment: The Winchester Model 1894 rifle followed the other John Browning designed lever action rifles to become one of the most famous and popular hunting rifles of all time. It was the first commercial sporting rifle to sell over 7,000,000 units, making the name "Winchester" synonymous with all lever action rifles. It was also the first commercial American repeating rifle built to be used with smokeless powder. It was introduced in 1894 in two black powder cartridges, the .32-40 and .38-55 Win. rounds, but by the next year Winchester had developed a different steel composition that could handle higher pressures, and the .30-30 Win. family of cartridges was born. Not only was it a success, but as of 1983 it held the record for the best-selling center-fire rifle in U.S. history. 5,103,249 Winchester 1894's and 94's were produced from 1894 to 1983 alone and it didn't stop there. From 1984 to 1997, the Model 94 angle eject was introduced and in 2003 the iconic rifle was offered as a .410 shotgun. U.S. production ceased in 2006. At the time there were 14 versions of the Model 94 in the Winchester catalog. In 2010 Winchester Repeating Arms reintroduced the model 94 in two Limited edition models to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Oliver F. Winchester's birth in New England in 1810. It was introduced in 1894 in two black powder cartridges, the .32-40 and .38-55 Win. rounds, but by the next year Winchester had developed a different steel composition that could handle higher pressures, and the .30-30 Win. family of cartridges was born. This a Winchester Model 1894 rifle made in 1897 with a 26" octagonal barrel and chambered in the original .38-55 cartridge. The gun shows honest wear consistent with its age and use in the field. It will display well as-is with its "been there, done that" appearance, but would also be a good candidate for restoration for a collection or to take back out in the field. Please see our photos and good luck!

Winchester Model 1895 Carbine .30-40 Krag 22" Lever Action Rifle

This the model Teddy Roosevelt called his "Big Medicine" that he used in hunting here and in Africa. With its quick handling characteristics, box magazine and spitzer bullet capability, the Model 1895 changed the world of sporting rifles forever. This saddle ring carbine was made in 1900, right at the turn of the century. It is chambered in .30-40 Krag and is in about Very Good-plus condition as refinished. It looks like it has seen some use and could stand to see some more. This should make a great addition to a collection of Winchester lever-action rifles.

Pre-64 Winchester 64 .30-30 Win 24" Lever Action Rifle

Lot # 1140 (Sale Order: 138 of 384)

Pre-64 Winchester 64 .30-30 Win 24" Lever Action Rifle

Our Assessment: Winchester's venerable Model 94 rifle, long a favorite of hunters and outdoorsmen, was beginning to lose sales in the early 1920's, although the shorter barreled carbine was still popular. More people were traveling by motorcar and railroad, and Winchester thought a takedown rifle based on the Model 94 would sell well. The Model 55 was introduced in 1924, but never sold particularly well, and was discontinued in 1932 when it was superseded by the Model 64. The Model 64 was a redesign of the Model 55 with a longer magazine tube and made with a solid frame only. The Model 64 stayed in production until 1957, with a total of only 66,783 manufactured, making it one of the Rarer lever action models made by Winchester. A 2nd batch of 8250 was produced in the early 1970's, but those made before 1964 have better quality and smoothness of operation than that found on more modern Model 94's. This a Winchester Model 64 Rifle in .30-30 Win. with a 24" barrel and 3/4 length magazine tube. The rifle is in Very Good overall condition, showing honest wear, a nice bore and strong mechanics. Our bore gauge measured a Me of 1.0, indicating limited use over the last 70 years. If the collectors don't take enough notice, this will make someone a very nice deer rifle. Please see our photos and good luck!

Winchester Model 1892 .32 WCF 24" Lever Action Rifle ANTIQUE

Lot # 1141 (Sale Order: 139 of 384)

Winchester Model 1892 .32 WCF 24" Lever Action Rifle ANTIQUE

Our Assessment: The Winchester Model 1892 rifle and carbine replaced the toggle link action of Winchesters Model 1873 with a breechblock locked with two rectangular locking bolts that made it much stronger and suitable for the higher pressures of smokeless powder. It was designed by John Browning, and was sort of a scaled-down Model 1886 rifle, the first he designed for Winchester. The Model 1892 rifle was popular with ranchers and later was the rifle of choice for western movies and TV shows, John Wayne used both M1892 rifles and carbines in many of his western movies. The M1892 rifles again became popular in the 1980s with the advent of Cowboy Action shooting, as they were smooth and dependable. This a Model 1892 rifle with a 24" octagonal barrel, made in 1894 and chambered in .32-20 Win. The rifle is in Very Good condition with strong mechanics. All Winchester Model 1892 rifles of this vintage are collectable and it takes quite a bit of effort to collect one in every caliber and sub model. This one will make a nice addition to a collection. Please see our photos and good luck in your bidding!

Bore Condition: The bore is gray and the rifling is well-defined. There is persistent fouling, erosion and some pitting in the bore. In this writer's opinion and for the age, this bore rates a 5 or 6 out of 10.Most ANTIQUE firearms have bores that will show erosion. This not only due to age but to the use of black powder. Our Assessment: This a Winchester Model 1892 Rifle made in 1896 and chambered in .44-40 Winchester. This rifle is in Good condition as ANTIQUE. The bore shows wear, erosion and a bulge but the mechanics are strong. This vintage rifle has seen some honest wear over the last 125 years but is in very good mechanical condition. Pre-War Winchester 1894 .32 Win Special 20" Lever Action Carbine

Lot # 1144 (Sale Order: 142 of 384)

Nice Pre-War Winchester 1894 .32 Win Special 20" Lever Action Carbine, MFD Ca. 1939

Our Assessment:This a Winchester Model 1894 made in 1982 with a 16" round barrel chambered in .32 Winchester Special. The .32 Winchester Special cartridge, like the .30-30 Winchester cartridge of 1895, is necked down from the .38-55 Winchester cartridge of 1884. The .32 Winchester Special differs from the .30-30 Winchester in bullet diameter. More significantly, Winchester decreased the rate of rifling twist in their Model 94 rifle, from 1:12 when chambered for the .30-30 to 1:16 when chambered for the .32 Winchester Special. Winchester used the slower twist to reduce fouling retention when creating a new cartridge for sportsmen who wanted to reload their own ammunition using black powder and cast bullets. It would be perfect for throwing in the back window of your pick-up truck for use on coyotes and other varmints and it would also be a great deer rifle today just as it was when it was made. Good luck with your bidding!

Pre-64 Winchester 1894 .32 Win Special 20" Lever Action Carbine

Lot # 1145 (Sale Order: 143 of 384)

Pre-64 Winchester 1894 .32 Win Special 20" Lever Action Carbine

Our Assessment: This a Winchester Model 1894 Carbine, made in 1960 with a 20" round barrel chambered in .32 Winchester Special. The .32 Win Spl was a popular American cartridge that was introduced in 1901, that was harder hitting than a .30-40 Krag cartridge but with less recoil. The .32 Win Spl has been discontinued for many years, however handloading is still prevalent. The 20" barrel of the Carbine model makes it light and fast-handling, and when coupled with the .32 Win Spl cartridge makes it a great rifle for hunting in thicker brush. Being a Pre-64 and in very good-plus condition, this would be a great rifle for someone who is looking to hunt or enjoys classic lever action rifles and likes the challenges of handloading!

Being a Pre-64, and in very good condition; this would be a great rifle for someone who is looking to hunt or enjoys classic lever action rifles and likes the challenges of handloading!
