Browning Miroku BSS Model B-SS 20 GA 26" SxS Side by Side Shotgun
Lot # 1303 (Sale Order: 301 of 384)
Our Assessment: The B-S/S is a double-barrel shotgun made by Miroku in Japan for the Browning Arms Company. It has the classic styling of the Citori series in the classic side-by-side configuration of the earliest double-barrel shotguns. This example is in Fine condition with about 96% of its finish, bright bores, and strong mechanics. It was produced in 1975 before Browning switched their serial number scheme to their current two-letter date code. The gun shows honest wear from gentle use and still locks up tight with bright bores. It would be great for fast-moving upland birds and would make a nice challenge on the skeet field.

Darne Model P17 12 GA 27" SK/M Side by Side Sliding Breech Shotgun
Lot # 1305 (Sale Order: 303 of 384)
Our Assessment: Although it may be the answer to an unasked question, the Darne sliding breech side by side is unique. The sliding breech mechanism was patented in 1894 and improved in 1909; the action is still being produced in France on high end shotguns and double rifles. While it seems unorthodox to users of break-action shotguns, the design is actually quite elegant and results in guns which are quite light and balanced. Whether you're looking to challenge yourself on the skeet range or take care of some pheasant, grouse or quail, this a great gun that will also turn some heads. Please see our photos and good luck in your bidding!

Lot # 1306 (Sale Order: 304 of 384)
Our Assessment: This side by side was made ca. 1910 by James Purdey & Sons of London. For more than two centuries, the name Purdey has been synonymous in the gun world with style, class and, above all, quality. The select walnut stocks feature beautiful grain patterns and the rose-and-scroll engraving is the sort of tight, fine, well-balanced work expected from an English best gun. The shotgun shows signs of use, but retains good bores and strong mechanics. While this certainly suitable for the collectors, the discerning hunter should find this more than suitable to get back out in the field. Please see our pictures and good luck!

Winchester Parker Reproduction 20 Ga. DHE Grade engraved Shotgun & Case
Lot # 1315 (Sale Order: 313 of 384)
Our Assessment: In 1984, Winchester was contracted by Reagent Chemical & Research, Inc. to manufacture a new Parker shotgun. The new SxS was a DHE model, available in 20 and 28 ga. initially. These models were fabricated in Japan to original Parker specifications, and the reproduction was so authentic that most parts are interchangeable with the late Parkers made by Remington in Ilion, NY. On Sept. 17, 1999, a flood destroyed all remaining inventory, including parts and most of the factory records. This 20 gauge DHE Reproduction is in excellent condition and appears to have seen infrequent, if any use. The to-specification D grade engraving looks exceptional with the vibrant case coloring retaining marvelous tone variation. The shotgun has a single selective trigger, return-to-safe feature upon opening the action and has independent ejectors. The bores are choked Modified and Improved Cylinder, unsurprisingly quite well suited for upland birds, as is the 20 gauge chambering and 26" barrels. The fit and finish of this shotgun is truly something to behold. Whether you're a Winchester or Parker collector or just want one of the finest 20 gauge doubles made, this a great addition to any safe in America.

NIB California Compliant Sig Sauer P365 Modular Semi Auto Pistol & Box
Lot # 1327 (Sale Order: 325 of 384)
Our Assessment:The P365 is a striker-fired, short-recoil handgun with a stainless steel slide, treated with a black Nitron finish, and a polymer frame. There are serrations on both the front and rear of the slide for easy manipulation. The polymer grip accepts a double-stack 10-round, 12-round, or 15-round magazine. The magazines are released by a triangular button on the grip located at the undercut trigger guard section. Per SIG Sauer, the P365 has the lowest bore-axis ratio of any handgun currently made. This model is one of SIG’s newer pistols and is a great choice for the shooting range, home defense and concealed carry. Please see our pictures and good luck with your bidding!
