Ruger Model 44 .44 Magnum Semi Automatic Tube Fed Rifle & Scope

Lot # 381 (Sale Order: 381 of 391)

Desirable 1964 Ruger Model 44 .44 Magnum Semi Automatic Tube Fed Rifle & Scope

Our Assessment: On offer here is the classic Ruger .44 Magnum Carbine, now long out of production but beloved still. The forbear of the 10/22, and frankly all Subsequent Ruger rifles, the Carbine, or Model 44, formerly the Deerstalker, hasn't been produced since 1984, but collectors desire this rifle even today. Unlike most Ruger firearms, this was not a product of investment casting, but rather was machined, making it a rarity even among other Ruger guns. The 44 Carbine is sharp looking, with classic lines and wonderful in-hand feel. This gun will make a perfect hunting companion, in any field environment, and has the power to stop nearly any threat yet is light enough to carry in the field for long periods of time. 1978 Browning Miroku Model BPS Field 12 GA 30" Pump Action Shotgun

Lot # 383 (Sale Order: 383 of 391)

1978 Browning Miroku Model BPS Field 12 GA 30" Pump Action Shotgun

Our Assessment: From Browning's website, "Browning liked the idea of a pump shotgun that both loaded and ejected from the bottom of the receiver. This allowed fired shells to drop straight downward, out of the shooter's line of sight, which helped minimize visual distractions for the shooter when following a fleeting target. Fast forward to 1977. The firearm company that John M. Browning started back in 1878 wanted to introduce a thoroughly modern pump action that incorporated the very best of the founder's innovations. The result was the now-famous Browning Pump Shotgun, which is better known as the BPS." This Browning BPS sports a 30" barrel and is in about Very Good overall condition. By appearance, it is evident that this shotgun worked for a living and still looks good. For the left handed shooter, this a great option, a bottom-ejecting shotgun sure beats a shotshell hull to the face. This a sturdy shotgun with a lot of hunting trips left in it. Please see our photos and good luck in your bidding!

Browning Auto Five A-5 16 Gauge 26" Poly Choke Shotgun

Lot # 388 (Sale Order: 388 of 391)

1932 Browning Auto Five A-5 16 Gauge 26" Poly Choke Semi Automatic Shotgun

Our Assessment: The Browning Automatic 5, most often Auto-5 or simply A-5, is a recoil-operated semi-automatic shotgun designed by John Browning. The Browning Auto-5 was the first mass-produced semi-automatic shotgun. Designed by John Browning in 1898 and patented in 1900, it was produced continually for almost 100 years by several makers with production officially ending in 1998 (though other makers have continued to make the pattern). It features a distinctive high rear end, earning it the nickname "Humpback". Browning presented his design to Winchester, where he had sold his rifle designs, but they refused his terms. He then went to Remington, but the president of the company died while he was waiting to offer them the gun. Browning then took the gun to FN in Europe and was so confident that his first order was for 10,000 shotguns. The design was later licensed to Remington for their Model 11 and to Savage Arms for their Models 720 and 755. This example is chambered for 16 Gauge and was made in Belgium in 1932, it is in pretty Good shape, showing honest wear for a 90 year old semi automatic shotgun. This classic Browning will go nicely in any Shotgun collection and is ready to get back out into the field. Please see our photos, good luck and happy bidding!

Benelli Model M1 Super 90 Field Camo X-Brown 12 GA 21" Semi Automatic Shotgun & Box

Our Assessment: The Benelli M1 (Super 90) is a semi-automatic shotgun MANUFACTURED by Benelli Armi S.P.A. It features the proprietary Benelli recoil system, known for its reliability and easy maintenance.
