Don Bluth Original Animation Cel from "All Dogs Go To Heaven" Charlie & Anabelle, Framed

Lot # 402 (Sale Order: 2 of 152)

This has the Don Bluth Animation Gallery logo or seal in the lower right corner. The bronze tone metal frame measures 18 1/4" X 15 1/4". It has been double matted in tan and pink - the same colors as Charlie and Annabelle, the Angelic Whippet. The expressions on their faces are priceless! The frame has some scuffs & scratches and is separating in the upper right corner as shown. The glass has some minor scratches. Under the glass, there are a few chips of glass in the upper right and left corners. We think, this was probably dropped at some point thus the chips and the separated frame corner. This does not appear to have damaged the cel. There is some dust under the glass as we did not remove the frame to clean this. The back has the label from “Framing Art” Annapolis, MD. Please see the many photos for all the close up details. Please be sure to enlarge the photos to full screen to see the details. Proxibid has done a great job of including this feature but if you do not look for it, you might miss it. Please call if you cannot figure out how to go to their full screen version. We will walk you through it. Easy to do once you find out how! Please remember, we will call you for your credit card information if you are a winning bidder. We have our own credit card processor and therefore, we do not process our credit cards through Proxibid or APN even though you are required to have a credit card on file with Proxibid to register to bid. Early 1900's Conley Safety Bellows Camera with Wollensak Optical Lens

Lot # 404 (Sale Order: 4 of 152)

THIS DESCRIPTION HAS BEEN REVISED, JAN.4, 2015. DURING SET UP FOR THE AUCTION, WE HAD DIFFICULTY GETTING THIS ON THE TRACK. WE HAD TO TURN THE TRACK OVER AND STRAIGHTEN THE ENDS. IT STILL IS SOMEWHAT DIFFICULT IN GETTING IT ON THE TRACK AND TO SLIDE IT ON THE TRACK. This beauty has everything! From the red bellows to the mahogany wood to the Wollensak lens to the nickel plate finish and the brass. The case, when folded, measures 6 1/4" X 6 3/8" X 3 1/8". The outside is in good condition but the button to open the case it is quite stiff. We pushed in the button with the butt end of a pen and it popped right open. The handle is in great shape. The lens is labeled Wollensak Optical and 4 X 5 Rapid Orthographic F-8. We do not see any tears or breaks in the bellows. The patent we see is Aug. 13-07. A beautiful camera in very nice condition! We have no way of testing, so we cannot tell if it works. We dusted this with a soft cloth and probably made a bit more lint than was previously on it. You will find dust in the grooves and tiny places. 7 Peanuts Gang 9" Hungerford 1950's Rubber Figures Including Schroeder & His Piano, Pigpen & Others

Lot # 406 (Sale Order: 6 of 152)

These came together as a set and therefore we will sell them together. There is Charlie Brown, Pigpen, Linus, Lucy, Snoopy, Schroeder and the piano. These are the larger variety and most are about 9" tall. The exceptions to that would be Snoopy at 7 ½", seated Schroeder at about 7 1/4" and the piano at about 4". These are made of rubber or vinyl. The expressions on their faces are very cute and characteristic of each. Snoopy has the 1958 copyright. Each piece is marked: “United Feature Syndicate” and some of the “N.F.”. Pigpen has the “N.F.” but we cannot find the United Feature mark. Some of these are marked on the bottom, backside or side and sometimes the mark is faint and hard to find. All have some paint loss, scuffs, scratches and a bit of dust as we dusted these with a soft cloth but did not clean them. As shown in the photos, Lucy’s right leg and the front of her left leg are glued. It appears the left leg came off completely and the right cracked at the front top. A nice set and it includes the hard to find piano. And yes, Beethoven sits atop the piano. Please see the many photos for all the close up details. Please be sure to enlarge the photos to full screen to see the details. Proxibid has done a great job of including this feature but if you do not look for it, you might miss it. Mills Bursting Cherry 5 Cent Slot Machine with Fortune Reels, Working

Lot # 408 (Sale Order: 8 of 152)

The serial number on this is 414931. The base measures 16" deep and 15" wide. At the back it is 20 ½" tall and 26" tall overall. It has a heavy, thick metal top, front and door. The sides and base are of wood. The inside of the back door has a paper label with a message for “Mr. Owner” on the care of the machine. The key, labeled Mills, is included and the lock works. It appears there are a number of nickels in here from the front of the machine. The 3 fortune reels bear the 1910 Bell Fruit Gum Mills Novelty Co. Chicago copyright. However, the machine is not from 1910. Is it from 1937-38 according to our research based on the serial number. Some of the fortunes on the reels are hilarious! We have tried to include some photos of the different fortunes for you. There are some paint chips and the drawer in the back is not here. This machine along with the other Mills slot machine and all of the gumball machines we have in this auction, were all owned by the same collector. His wife has decided to part with some of his collection. She believes this machine is all original. This is working now and we see no reason that it will not work when it arrives to you however, we cannot guarantee it will work after it goes through shipping. This will need to be packed and shipped by UPS, Craters & Freighters or another company that is in close proximity to us. As always, you can opt to pick it up or send your shipper to us to pick up the machine. We will work with you provided you contact us before you bid on the machine. Please do not wait until after you have won the machine and then ask us to take the machine to a shipper that is an hour away. Please check with your state for laws on ownership of slot machines. Laws vary from state to state. We cannot be responsible for checking into the laws in your state. Please see the many photos for all the close up details. Please be sure to enlarge the photos to full screen to see the details. Proxibid has done a great job of including this feature but if you do not look for it, you might miss it. Maxfield Parrish “Where The Dinkey Bird Is Singing” In Original Frame

Lot # 420 (Sale Order: 20 of 152)

The original wooden frame is 16 1/4" long by 12 1/4" wide, in gold tones and dark navy blue. The image size is 15" X 11". The paper label on the back identifies the artist, name of the piece and the publisher as “Publication of Edward Gross Co., Inc. 118 East 16th Street, New York”. In the lower right, the print is marked “M P”. The print has the beautiful “Parrish blue” sky. The nude androgynous figure seems to be having a very good time swinging from the amfalula tree. Parrish painted this as an illustration for Eugene Field’s poem; “The Dinkey Bird” contained in Field’s book; “Poems of Childhood”, 1904-1905. We do not see any tears in the print. The hanging wire on the back of the frame is no longer present. Someone has taped areas of the backing paper to the back side of the frame, probably to keep it from ripping further as it is quite fragile. The frame has some paint loss and scuffs. The glass has some faint scratches. There is some dust under the glass as we did not remove this from the frame to clean the inside of the glass. Please see the many photos for all the close up details. Please be sure to enlarge the photos to full screen to see the details. Proxibid has done a great job of including this feature but if you do not look for it, you might miss it. Please call if you cannot figure out how to go to their full screen version. H. Handwerck, S. Halbig Doll 23" Porcelain Bisque Head & Composition Ball Jointed Body w/ Clothes

Lot # 423 (Sale Order: 23 of 152)

Isn’t she lovely!! The photos are in the order just as we took them so you can see exactly what we saw and how we go through the process. We found her wrapped in a sheet in an old box labeled: “Mother’s Doll”. Her black velveteen coat and hat with “poodle fur” trim has one small 3/4" hole on the left arm seam that can easily be mended. It is at the seam and the seam is not frayed. The inside of the coat has a small label that simply reads: “02". She wears a polka dot dress with 2 tiny pink roses, one piece undergarment in pink, a t-shirt, thin pink binder, white socks with pink stripes and leather shoes. Her leather shoes are very brittle and the laces have been replaced. She has worn her hat a long time so her hair is matted but she still has a bow on each side of her head. She is marked on the back of her head: “Heinrich Handwerck Simon Halbig 3". We did not attempt to clean her in any way. We feel that is best left to the new owner. Her feet have cracks and splits as shown in the photos. She has a black dot on her right cheek. She has painted eyelashes and eyebrows and she has hair eyelashes as well. Hair in the lashes is missing as shown. Her left hand is missing two middle fingers, as shown. She has brown glass sleep eyes, open mouth with 4 teeth and a tongue. Her composition body has black and red marks on it - as stated, we did not clean try to clean her up as we do not want to do damage. She needs a little TLC but she is a beauty! Please see the many photos for all the close up details. Please be sure to enlarge the photos to full screen to see the details. Proxibid has done a great job of including this feature but if you do not look for it, you might miss it. Please call if you cannot figure out how to go to their full screen version. J.J.Elliott of London, Tall Case Clock, Nested Bells, Multiple Gongs, Calendar, GORGEOUS!

Lot # 425 (Sale Order: 25 of 152)

We have provided many photos and hope we have pretty much covered what you would want to see. If not, let us know and we will do our best to get photos to you. This stands about 100" tall. The back of the clock works is marked: “J.J. Elliott 5 Percival St, London, England”. Because the back board of the clock is all one piece (From top to bottom) and we are not going to remove it, we cannot tell if there are other marks on the back of the works. The dial is Marked:”Brunner Bros.” The inside of the bonnet is also marked: “Brunner Bros. Jan/21/03 (or Jan/21/23, not sure of the second to last number)” in pen. There are also some marks close to that in pencil but we cannot read what it says. We are assuming Brunner Bros., is the seller or store where the clock was purchased. There appears to be 3 sets of chimes; the horn or nested bell shaped in sections, another set of chimes (coils?) and a third single chime. There is a dial on the front to change the type of chimes from Whittington to Winchester. There appears to be a calendar mechanism on this clock from the looks of the dial with the date numbers inside the time numbers. This is not working at the present time. There are 3 brass weights, the crank and the 44" long pendulum. The brass pendulum bob is 5 7/8" in diameter and it is marked with the number 670 in a circle. The door has beveled glass and the bonnet has 3 detachable finials. On the middle finial, the spire is broken. The moon and phases dial is in need of help with the cracking and chipping paint. The one side of the broken pediment on the bonnet, is missing the back brace piece as shown in the photos. There are a lot of carvings on this case and they are beautiful. Not sure what else we can tell you on this. We have included some history Elliott and his clocks below should you care to read the info. We will not be packing and shipping this clock. You will need to make arrangements with a packer/shipper and we can assist if you call before the auction. Please do not wait until after and then call regarding shippers - thanks. Some history: according to our research, in 1865 James Jones Elliott became an apprentice to Bateman to learn the art of clock making. The name Elliot has been synonymous with quality clocks for over 100 years and his company would gain a worldwide reputation as a manufacturer of fine quality clocks. James Elliott’s son, Frank took over the business when James passed away in 1904. Later Frank was joined by his 3 sons in the business.
