SERIAL NUMBER 6502e BARREL 4" CALIBER 9MM (9x19) MANUFACTURED 1917. Produced during WW1 by DWM in 1917 for issue to German Military troops. Rust blue finish with checkered walnut grips with wood bottom magazine. Pistol is housed in white stitch brown leather holster with spare magazine and loading tool. Pistol is all matching numbers including magazine. Holster is marked "G.G KLEINHEINZ 1918 MUNCHEN". Spare magazine is not numbered. CONDITION. Very fine with over 85% rust blue finish remaining with losses at edges and high points. Bore is very fine with bright and shiny lands and grooves. Grips are good with moderate wear . Action operates properly. Leather holster is very fine with crisp legends and supple leather. Stitching remains good with slight looseness on belt loop. Tools are very good as is spare magazine. C&R

Good as period refinished with custom grips made of Asiatic hardwood from a WW2 base camp.. The bore is slightly frosted, and the action operates properly. The revolver comes with a shoulder holster and a hip holster made in Texas for the General prior to leaving for duty during WW2. C&R

SERIAL NUMBER 704 BARREL 6" CALIBER .38 COLT MANUFACTURED 1907. A very limited production of 926 revolver produced by Colt for the United States Marine Corps. Based upon the Colt New Model Revolver with round butt and checkered walnut grips. Finished with Blue steel and was the first swing out cylinder revolver adopted by the Marine Corps. marked on the butt, "USMC No 704" with lanyard swivel. barrel is marked with standard Colt legends and "COLT D.A.38" on left side. Assembly number 500 is found on frame under grips, rear of cylinder under ejector, on grips internally and crane and frame beneath barrel. One of the rarest of all Collectible Colts with a production of 926, these revolvers saw extensive use during WW1, the banana wars, Haiti and finally retired prior to WW2. CONDITION, Good with the finish having toned to dove grey with traces of blue in protected areas. The grips are good with moderate use. The legends and numbers are very legible. an interesting side note is the omission of the number 10 above the serial number. Action operates properly. C&R

Pistol is accompanied with paperwork from Battalion Headquarters 12th 155mm Gun Battalion Fleet Marine Force Pacific. Paperwork further list Pistol by serial number as being issued to Major Alexander A Elder with additional gear. Another piece of paperwork list that all items are being turned in April 11 1945 with the serial number of the above listed pistol. A great WW2 issue Colt 1911 pistol. CONDITION. Very good with the pistol retaining over 50% of the thinning blue finish. The bore is very good and the action operates properly. The pistol has been period modified by the addition of the ww2 period checkered short trigger and the flat mainspring housing has been checkered for better grasping. The grips are later replacements but have been on the pistol for its known history. C&R

SERIAL NUMBER 17556 BARREL 6" CALIBER 38 COLT MANUFACTURED 1892, The first swing out cylinder revolver adopted by the US Gov't and known as the Navy Model. These revolvers went through many adaptations and upgrades to the frame, cylinder and cylinder latch assembly. This original example remains unmodified in its original configuration. Finished with blue steel with oiled smooth walnut grips. Butt being marked " USN (over anchor).38D.A. No 17556" Assembly number 33 is found on cylinder , crane and frame. Internally left grip is scribed "KICK ARROW Sept 10 1925" CONDITION. The revolver has toned to a mellow chocolate patina with the grips being weathered but remaining full sized with a minor chip on base of right grip. This is the pattern that Theodore Roosevelt carried up San Juan hill in his Splendid Little War. Grips are inspected "1892 O.C.H." Butt is marked " U.S. ARMY MODEL 1892 No3946" Assembly number 3946 is found on frame , cylinder and crane. Barrel cylinder , frame and grips are all inspected RAC. CONDITION. Excellent with over 97% original brilliant blue finish remaining with small areas of scuffing and edge wear. Bore is excellent. Action operates properly and grips are very fine. SERIAL NUMBER 1596 BARREL 3-3/8" CALIBER 7MM NAMBU MANUFACTURED 1903-1923. Produced at Tokyo Arsenal as a private purchase pistol occasionally acquired by Officers. The Baby Nambu chambered in 7mm Nambu with its diminutive size and commercial finish and quality has always been very desired by collectors. This pistol is accompanied by a notarized statement from George Bruce Lund Petty Officer 1st Class US Navy . He states that he took the pistol from a Jap Officer on Manus Island in the Admiralty Islands in March of 1944. The paperwork is Notarized by Phyllis Rank and has her stamped seal. CONDITION. Pistol retains over 95% of the original blue finish with a few spots of corrosion on the upper frame and backstrap. The bore is very good and the grips remain excellent. Action operates properly. A captured Baby Nambu with documentation is extremely rare and not frequently offered for sale. C&R
