Stamped Meriden Man'fg Meriden Conn. Left side of frame stamped Kentucky. Features military ladder rear sight, walnut stocks, rear sling swivel, exposed hammer. The Triplett & Scott was a repeating rifle holding seven shots in the magazine. Condition. All metal surfaces are a gray patina with age freckling. Typical post war conversion to cartridge carbine with standard Lawrence rear sight, single barrel band, walnut stocks, saddle ring & bar and Sharps legends on both side of frame. Cartouche still vivid on fore-arm but not on stock. Condition. Metal is smooth blend of blue and brown patina. Legends are sharp. Stocks show use, small chip at wrist and left side of stock has thinned profile as done by previous owner and period to the guns usage. Bore is sharp. ANTIQUE

There is a rack number 192 stamped on barrel. Features brass patch box, butt plate and barrel band. Features tape priming system. Has early single bar rear sight, post front sight, walnut stocks with long sling bar & ring. This is the Model Sharps purchased by the Kansas Aid Society and shipped to Abolitionist John Brown circa 1855-1856. Condition. Extremely fine example. Stocks are excellent and proud to metal with usual minor impressions Metal is smooth pleasing patina with no cancer anywhere. Legends are all readable. Bore is bright. Much nicer than usually found and quite early. ANTIQUE

SERIAL NUMBER 11399. BARREL 22". CALIBER 56-56 RF. Very early 1863 mfg prime Civil War used Spencer. These are the hardest to find with any condition as they were by far the most desireable repeating weapon of the war and made famous by Old Abe himself having tested one in the back yard of the White House. Receiver bridge is stamped Spencer and dated 1860. Features single band, ladder rear sight, post front sight, carbine butt, walnut stocks, rear lanyard ring, saddle ring & bar. Condition. Metal is a dull gray patina with some freckling with some salt & pepper on frame. Stocks are very good with some use. Rifling is sharp. Fairly nice example of the most desireable of all Spencer carbines. ANTIQUE

Fine and all original. Barrel retains most of the factory blue starting to mix plum. Case colors on frame have darkened but smooth with sharp legends. Stocks are excellent with minor impressions. Evidence of cartouche on left side but not readable. Bore is sharp & clean. ANTIQUE

It has 6-shot fluted cylinder with color case hardened trigger guard & hammer. Mounted with a marbled red & black gutta percha forearm and 2-piece S&W logo red & black gutta percha grips. Accompanied by an original attachable butt stock that has S&W embossed hard rubber butt plate. Yoke of the stock is blued steel with a threaded recess in the top tang for an attachable lollipop peep sight. Matching numbers found on barrel, cylinder and frame. With an entire production of 977 examples the 320 revolving carbine is one of the rarest of Smith & Wesson firearms. CONDITION. Good with excellent bright bore and chambers. Over 80% blue finish remains on barrel and frame with cylinder having 40% finish remaining with most being in flutes and balance turning patina. The action operates properly. FUNKEN ENG. BROWNING PIDGEON 2-BARREL SET

SERIAL NUMBER 42858. BARRELS 28 & 30". GAUGE 12. CHAMBERS 2 3/4". LOP 14 1/4". MADE IN 1954. This Pigeon grade Superposed over under has matching number barrels with forearms on both. The coin finished box lock frame is signed Funken and is engraved with fine scroll and pigeons on both sides. Felix Funken was FN’s Chief Engraver and founder of the FN Engraving School, just three years before his retirement in 1960. Funken trained all of the FN Master Engravers—including Andre Watrin, Louis Vrancken, Jose Baerten and Angelo Bee. No engraving on blued barrels that both feature vent ribs. Barrel 1 , # 42858 is choked IC for both (28"). Barrel stamped 2 has full over full. Gun features a gold trigger, deluxe checkered round knob walnut stock with black Browning butt plate. Oval plate on stock has engraved letter G. Both sets of barrels have checkered walnut fore-arms with matching color & grain. Comes in a vintage leather take down carry case. Condition. Bores are mirror bright. Barrels retain at least 95% factory blue with light muzzle, small rubs and handling wear. Stocks are excellent with minor finish wear . Checkering is still sharp. C&R

Felix Funken was FN’s Chief Engraver and founder of the FN Engraving School, just three years before his retirement in 1960. Funken trained all of the FN Master Engravers—including Andre Watrin, Louis Vrancken, Jose Baerten and Angelo Bee. No engraving on blued barrels that both feature vent ribs. Barrel 1 , # 42858 is choked IC for both (28"). Barrel stamped 2 has full over full. Gun features a gold trigger, deluxe checkered round knob walnut stock with black Browning butt plate. Oval plate on stock has engraved letter G. Both sets of barrels have checkered walnut fore-arms with matching color & grain. Comes in a vintage leather take down carry case. Condition. Bores are mirror bright. Barrels retain at least 95% factory blue with light muzzle, small rubs and handling wear. Stocks are excellent with minor finish wear . Checkering is still sharp. C&R

The top of the barrel is engraved Abercrombie & Fitch Beverly Hills California USA. It features a tastefully English engraved box lock that is bone case colored. The English straight grip stock features hand checkered wrist with solid black pad and nickel oval plaque. Made with double triggers and auto ejectors, blue barrels with solid rib and single bead with hand checkered splinter fore-arm. It is hard to imagine a California where the wealthy Beverly Hills crowd would actually support a gun shop. The walnut stock features a checkered round knob, grooved skeletal style butt that has metal tips on top and bottom with wood in center. The splinter fore-arm has an ebony tip. Blue barrels have a solid matted rib with single bead and manual extractors. Maker stamped on rib and frame. Condition. Frame exhibits at least 75% bone case colors with sharp legends. Barrels retain at least 97% rust blue with no visible dents and bright bores. Oil finished stocks are excellent. Locks up tight as new. A wonderful early smokeless London Double gun. ANTIQUE

The unusual Darne' sliding breech shotgun was created in France in 1897 as a very different action referred to as a “SLIDING BREECH” shotgun in which the barrels stay stationary. This gun is of the Darne' design with French proof marks on barrel flats. The coin finish frame is finely hand engraved with deeply engraved fences. The blue barrels are lightly engraved at breech. The butt stock is extra grain, oil finish, hand checkered walnut with English style stock and an old Pachmyer waffle pad. Fore-arm has a horn tip with a tiny flea bite chip near the end. Also features double triggers. Condition. Stocks are excellent. Barrel retains 98% rust blue. Bores are bright and lock up is tight. This is an unusually fine condition high grade Darne' type shotgun. C&R
