SERIAL 14538. BARREL 18.5". CALIBER 6.5 X 54. The earliest Model of the now classic full stock, the Model 1903 is, and is one of the finest bolt action sporting rifles ever made. It is known that the likes of Ernest Hemingway owned two of this model. It has all the standard features such as the double set triggers, folding leaf rear sight, checkered pistol grip walnut stock with cap, steel butt plate with cartridge trap, sling swivels with threaded post ahead of rear, ramp front sight and blue finish. Sports standard butter knife bolt handle. In addition, there is a Lyman rear receiver sight The scope mounts are most unusual and there are see through so you can use sights as well. The scope is an early Austrian Spring model. The scope is posted very high so to allow both use of scope and sights, the factory built a pop-up push button release stock that instantly raises the comb to scope use level. It is absolutely factory done and wood matches perfectly and is the only Model 1903 we have ever seen with this rare feature. Condition. Easily 95% or better blue, excellent wood with few minor impressions. Bore is strong. Double set triggers working. Fantastic gun with special feature for scope sighting which matches the use of the unique high mounts. C&R

Colath pattern turning tang safety. Marked W. COLATH on right side of frame and FRANKFURT on left side of frame. Blue finished barrels with case color receiver. Matching numbers on barrel and frame. Choked Full / Full with 2- 5/8" chambers. Double trigger, 14" LOP 1-3/8" drop at comb 2-5/8" drop at heel. CONDITION. Very good with fine bores and properly operating action. Steel barrels with full length solid rib with single standing express sight with folding leaf. Barrels marked "HOLLAND & HOLLAND 98 BOND STREET LONDON"and "WINNERS OF ALL THE FIELD RIFLE TRIALS LONDON 1883". Under Lever action with exposed hammers in back action locks. Receiver is case color finished with matching finished locks marked "HOLLAND & HOLLAND" Left side of receiver is marked "CHARGE 4 1/2 DRAMS CASE 3INCHES" Serial number is found on trigger guard, water table and underside of barrels. Stocks are of oil finished nicely figured walnut with semi-pistol grip with scalloped horn pistol grip cap and grooved horn butt plate. Finely checkered at wrist and splinter forearm. Wrist is period fitted with a reinforcing plate wrapping around the top tang and extending to the top of the locks. This has become known as the Selous plate. Rifle is housed in a blackened canvas over wood luggage case with partitions and full Holland & Holland label with identification sheet serial numbered to rifle. Case contains 2 H&H marked bullet molds and loading tools with cleaning rods, cleaning equipment, spare strikers and turn screws. Top od case is marked "SURG" MAGOR STEWART". Research reveals that Surgeon Major A Stewart a member of the 14th Light Dragoons being promoted 1859. CONDITION, Fine with barrels having bright sharp bores with over 70% re blacked finish. Receiver and locks retain an abundance of case colors with balance fading to grey. The nicely figured oil finished walnut stocks have most of their finish with period impressions and bruises with a period of use crack at top of wrist that was repaired with the Selous plate. The barrels have some light pitting on the sides of the chambers from case use. The accesories are fine The case is very fine with excellent lining and labels. The original sales document is crisp and legible. The Factory letter is crisp and legible. Case is supplied with contemporary canvas travel cover. ANTIQUE

Factory information lists this number as being made in 1872, .52 bore, .450 caliber, bore is .447. Has Jones rotary under lever. Gun weighs 10 lbs. Oil finished checkered pistol grip stocks with matching forearm with case colored steel pistol grip cap. Jones under lever opening hammer double rifle with back action locks. Raised solid barrel rib with blade front sight and single express rear sight. Locks are marked "W.W. GREENER". Barrel and receiver are numbers matching. Rifle is housed in a fine period oak & leather travel case with red wool lining with contemporary WW Greener label on interior of lid. Also rifle is further equipped with Bullet molds , Oil bottle and proper carry sling. CONDITION, Very fine as restored with fine strong bores, Proper operating action. Rifle retains most all of its reapplied blue finish. The case colors on the receiver and locks remains vivid with it protective lacquer remaining intact. The butt stock is very fine with sharp checkering and remains full sized with a few small bruises and impressions from use. The forearm appears to be a period replacement that fits properly and is matched in wood grain and finish. The case is very good with fine interior with all partitions remaining solid. The exterior leather is weathered from age but well preserved. The lid is period inscribed "W.R.M. WYNNE ESQ" PENIARTH MACHYNLLETH" This is a wonderful and quite usable classic double rifle. ANTIQUE

Greener side safety and single set trigger option for rifle. Straight grain oil finished European walnut stocks with finely checkered pistol grip , forearm and fitted with pistol grips cap. Produced by Mahrholdt Perterlongo in Innsbruck Austria with tapered sporter weight barrel with banded front sight and 2 leaf express sight. Perterlongo barrel address on top of barrel and caliber designation on right side of chamber. Coin finished commercial Mauser action is profusely engraved in a Germanic oak leaf with vine and acorn pattern. Relief engraved dropping magazine floor plate has a game scene vignette of a bugling elk in a woodland background. Surrounding magazine and trigger guard is embellished in matching Germanic oak leaf coverage inclusive of a small mountain sheep on trigger bow. Mounted with a varnished and finely checkered pistol gripped sporting stock with schnable forearm tip that has a cheek piece for Left Hand use with chiseled embellishment of Germanic oak leaf w/ acorn motif. Action is fitted with tang mounted sliding safety and traditional toggle bolt safety with offset lever for scope use. Rifle is equipped with steel Weaver K4 scope mounted in quick detachable Tally type rings and bases. Rifle features double set triggers, horn pistol grip cap and butt plate, CONDITION, Very fine with excellent bright bore. Smooth and properly operating action.. Double set triggers need adjustment as they fail to set. Clear optics. Stock is very fine with little use evident. Barrel retains over 98% blue finish. Receiver is equally fine with no distress. Coin finished commercial Mauser action is profusely engraved in a Germanic oak leaf with vine and acorn pattern. Relief engraved dropping magazine floor plate has a game scene vignette of a bugling elk in a woodland background. Surrounding magazine and trigger guard is embellished in matching Germanic oak leaf coverage inclusive of a small mountain sheep on trigger bow. Mounted with a varnished and finely checkered pistol gripped sporting stock with schnable forearm tip that has a cheek piece for Left Hand use with chiseled embellishment of Germanic oak leaf w/ acorn motif. Action is fitted with tang mounted sliding safety and traditional toggle bolt safety with offset lever for scope use. Rifle is equipped with steel Weaver K4 scope mounted in quick detachable Tally type rings and bases. Left side of receiver marked "WINGO" with barrel having 2 line Winchester new haven address. Electronic monitor inset in forearm with data wire extending from muzzle end.“Wingo was an experimental indoor wing shooting event developed in the early 1970s by the Winchester-Western division of Olin Corp. the only Wingo facility built was in 1971 in San Diego, California and operated for less than a year. Wingo was a game where opposing teams would shoot at launched 4 inch diameter ice balls fired from five ports towards the firing team, the non-firing team could control which port the ball fired from, and even the speed of the ball up to a reported 30 MPH. The guns were tethered to the shooting bench and wired for an internal microphone that would register when it was fired (necessary for automated scoring). This shotgun has a Martini style single shot lever actions firing a proprietary 5 mm shot shell. Shotgun has the remains of the wire underneath the barrel, “WINGO” markings on both sides of the receiver and left side bases for the Winchester Kwik-Point scope for quick and easy target spotting. This gun was built in 1956 and was one of their higher grades that features Germanic style hand chiseled engraving on the frame in traditional deep cut oak leaf pattern. Walnut stock is highly carved and checkered in same oak leaf pattern. The floor plate and screws are engraved with a horned stag panel. Engraved trigger guard with solid gold plaque. Stock has a black fore-end tip and a dark wood grip cap with inlaid white diamond. The bolt is finely jeweled in worming style. Gun features double set triggers. The stock profile has the large Monte Carlo comb with waffle pad and sling eyes. The barrel was never cut for sights. The rifle sports a German Pecar 3-7 scope reticle has think sidelines and post with thin upper line and the optics are pure . Both sides of stock has an inlaid white diamond . Condition. TED WILLIAMS PERSONAL WINCHESTER MODEL 21 SHOTGUN

SERIAL 2320. BARRELS 30". GAUGE 12. CHOKES FULL/IC. MADE IN 1933. LOP from front trigger to pad is 14.5" This exact gun came right from Ted Williams safe at his home after he died and was sold on 4-18-2012 by Hunt Auctions. The sale was held at Fenway Park and the entire collection was consigned by his daughter. The gun still has the Hunt auctions tag, lot 455. . The gun itself has mixed numbers. The barrels are numbered 2612 while other parts are numbered 2320. The gun features deluxe grain walnut stock, pistol grip, checkered with a Pachmayr waffle pad. The forearm is beaver tail style. Barrels have a solid rib with twin beads. Features double triggers. Finish is blue. This gun sold for $11000 at the time. Ted Williams is considered as one of the greatest ball players of all time and his home run and batting average record would probably be the highest ever had it not been for two tours as a fighter pilot in both WWII and Korea where he was shot down and almost killed. Pictures of his shot down plane are on line. Condition. Metal retains 98% of the reapplied blue finish. Stocks are excellent with sharp checkering. Lock up is tight. Bores are mirror bright. C&R

Barrels marked "L.C.SMITH 16 GA, FIELD FULTON N.Y. U.S.A." Case colored side lock action with locks marked L.C. SMITH. Serial numbers are matching on reciver, barrels and forearm. Varnished checkered pistol grip stock with splinter forearm. LOP 14-3/4" over 3/4" Pachmayer recoil pad. 16 Ga, 2-3/4" chambers. Choked Full & Full. Lifter Extractors. CONDITION. Good with very fine bright bores. Action operates properly. Barrels retain over 98% blue finish. Action retains over 60% case colors with balance fading to silver. All numbers matching on receiver, both barrels and both sets of forarms. Barrels ar marked #1 & #2 and both are marked 12 - 1 1/2" on the locking block. Matted ribs are both marked "PARKER BROS MAKERS MERIDEN CT, USA VULCAN STEEL" LOP 14" Drop at Comb 1 1/2" drop at heel 2 3/4", 12 Gauge 2-5/8" chambers Choked 28" full & Mod 26" Imp. Cyl & Light Mod. CONDITION. Good as restored with bright bores and re blacked barrels. Receiver has toned to silver with traces of color in protected areas.
