SERIAL NUMBER W1272 BARREL 4-1/2" CALIBER 7.62X25 MANUFACTURED 1953. Produced at the arsenal as an instructional aid with machined cut-outs to expose moving parts and operations. marked on slide horizontally "W1272-1953" this is opposed to the standard pistol markings that vertically across the top of the slide. matching numbers on slide and frame. No test fire proofs or import markings. A total of 52 individual cut-out have been performed and highlighted in red paint to reveal the operation and function of the pistol and magazine. CONDITION, Very fine with a few small areas of red paint having chipped sway from age. Pistol retains most all blue finish. A really interesting and uncommon pistol. This item is still considered a firearm by regulations. C&R

Manufactured by Colt Firearms for Civil War use to state Militias and US Gov't procurement. .58 caliber rifled musket with full length walnut stock with 3 barrel bands steel trigger guard and butt plate and standard 1855 folding 2 position rear sight. All metal left bright finish and made to accept the model 1855 socket bayonet. Widely distributed to Northern troops. CONDITION. Good with visible rifling, metal has toned to a pleasant brown patina. Lock markings are crisp and legible while barrel markings are obscured by period pitting. Lock operates properly. Stocks are good with period bruises and impressions. Bayonet is standard US marked 1855 pattern and without markings. Scabbard is black leather with brass tip with belt hanger being torn and very weak. ANTIQUE

Converted under US Gov't contract by Hewes & Phelps (H&P) in 1816 with bolster pattern conversion to percussion. Dated on breech 1861 and marked on breech H&P. Lock still retains SPRINGFIELD 1862 markings with standard eagle over US markings. CONDITION, Fair with dark bore and missing rammer. Stock has material loss forward of lock and a repaired crack forward of center barrel band. Lock operates properly. Exterior is an even dark brown patina. One of the estimated 48,000 imported Model 1849 Austrian Garibaldi rifle with socket pattern blade bayonet imported to the United States for Southern use during the US Civil war. Beech wood stock with cheek rest Brass butt plate and rod pipe with iron lock, front barrel band and loading rod. Converted to percussion in Belgium prior to sale to the Southern forces. With socket / blade bayonet . Folding rear sight (missing slide assembly) numbered on lock 855 and with out any other markings. .71 caliber rifled bore with brass tipped rammer. CONDITION. SERIAL NUMBER 17947. BARREL 4". CALIBER.32 POLICE. MADE IN 1903. This gun was in the overcoat pocket of police officers in every city at the turn of the century. Standard gun features blue finish, six shot, double action, fixed sights and Colt gutta percha grips. Condition. Fine overall with strong 80% blue on cylinder and a smooth blue brown mix on balance of metal. Grips are excellent with no chips. Indexes and locks up correctly. Bore is strong and clean. C&R

A Spanish interpretation of the Colt 1877 Lightning revolver with square butt , checkered walnut grips and 6 shot fluted cylinder. These revolvers have been observed in the early 1900's period through out the south west and were used extensively in Mexico. Most are hard used and in lesser condition. CONDITION, Very fine with the revolver retaining over 97% bright vivid case colors and most of the factory lacquer finish. The barrel, ejector and trigger guard retain over 90% bright polished blue. The bore is bright and shiny and action operates properly. The grips are very fine and full sized. This is the finest example of these brevet revolvers we have observed. C&R

An updated version of the Model 2 with a smaller frame and 5 shot non-fluted cylinder. Very good with frame retaining over 95% blue finsih with barrel and cylinder having flaked finish and having turned a brown patina. Several small dings are found on right side of barrel. Grip safety prevented accidental discharge and was implemented in later model for many years to come. CONDITION, Very fine with over 90% bright nickel remaining with very good bore and chambers. A joint venture with Manurhin and Ruger and the final exampleds were introduced in 1979 in both Blue and stainless steel. Blue finished , 3" full lugged barrel with 6 shot fluted cylinder with single and double action operation. US produced Ruger spped six inspired frame with French produced Barrel and Cylinder. Fitted with French rubber checkered combat grips. Barrel marked MR88 on right and CAL-38 SPL on left Frame marked on Right side MANURHIN. A small import marking is found on barrel.
