BARREL 6" CALIBER 54 smoothbore. MFG 1844. Total production of 2000 pistols produced by Ames. Lock marked "N.P. AMES SPRINGFIELD MASS " & "USN 1844" . Round barrel with swivel ram rod and brass furniture. This is the only US martial pistol with the boxlock . One piece walnut stock with brass butt cap. CONDITION. Good overall with mostly smooth metal with scattered light pitting. Stock has impressions and scratches. The outline of the cartouche is still visible. Action works well. BARREL 12", CALIBER .58. No. 16 batch number on brass butt cap. Manufactured by Springfield Armory, with piece wood stock, and brass hardware. Round smooth bore barrel with swivel rammer. Percussion lock marked ," US SPRINGFIELD 1856. Barrel is dated at tang 1855 and marked "V P eaglehead" CONDITION. The pistol is a nice grade example. All original except for nipple and clean out screw. Action is crisp. Mostly smooth metal with nice markings. Some scattered light pitting. Crisp action. One piece stock has visible cartouche on left flat. The stock has impressions and a tight shrinkage hairline by lock screw. A nice example of this pistol. RMA ANTIQUE

SEGALAS 18th CENT. FLINTLOCK BLUNDERBUSS PISTOL

BARREL 7 3/4" with 1 3/16" muzzle diameter. Engraved "SEGALAS LONDON" on top of the barrel. The Segalas family of gunsmiths was established in London by Israel Segalas, a Huguenot who left France circa 1685-1690. The pistol features a one piece stock checkered at the wrist, brass hardware, and an engraved brass blunderbuss barrel. The breech of the barrel has a stand of arms and a sun is engraved at the muzzle. CONDITION. This is a fine example of a 18th century Blunderbuss pistol. The pistol is complete and is in original flintlock configuration. The stock is nice with some minor impressions and a small repair above the rear ramrod thimble. Lock action works well. Brass is a nice mustard patina. A beautiful early pistol. RMA ANTIQUE

BARREL 7 1/2" MUZZLE DIAMETER 7/8". The pistol features a beautiful brass cannon muzzle barrel and frame with spring loading bayonet / dagger underneath. Has a sliding safety behind the hammer. This a large size of this type of pistol at almost 13" overall. CONDITION: Very fine overall. Nice mustard patina with clear markings. Nice one piece grips. Iron parts are clean. Original flintlock action is not working. It seems that the mainspring is broken or missing. Spring bayonet works when trigger guard is pulled back. It does not always snap in place. Chicopee Falls"on top strap, and "Wessons and Levitts Patent" on lock plate. Hammer, lock plate and frame are engraved. CONDITION: Mostly smooth metal with no finish and scattered light pitting. Markings are good, and the cylinder retains most of the etched design. Action works well and cylinder indexes properly. Walnut grips are good with some minor handling marks. BARREL 3 1/2" CALIBER .44, MFG 1855-1865. Retailer marked "LULLMAN & VIENNA MEMPHIS TENN," on top barrel flat. Single shot Henry Derringer pistol features one piece checkered walnut stock with birds head grips and engraved German silver hardware, 44 caliber percussion barrel marked with "DERINGER PHILADEL" with 2 silver bands and "P" proof surrounded with sunburst. Lock is marked with same and is floral engraved. Lullman & Vienna were retailers of small arms in Memphis Tenn, who continued their business through reconstruction. CONDITION. Very fine with crisp legible markings. Action is tight. Barrel and lock have toned to an even brown patina. Checkered one piece stock is very nice, with only minor wear. Lock is marked "JENKS ' S / RI / 1812," and a "Eagle over US in an oval," Side plate is marked "O. Ballou". CONDITION: Stock is very good and full length with minor impressions and handling marks. Action is crisp, and there is play to frizzen, as it may be an old replacement. Metal has a dark brown patina with scattered areas of light pitting. Overall a very good Model 1808 Musket. RMA ANTIQUE

Features a full round barrel, long range tang sight, rear fold up sight, blade front sight, and walnut stock with a rifle butt plate. CONDITION: Smooth metal with a brown patina. Bore is on the dark side with visible rifling. Stocks are good, and butt stock has a break at butt that has been nailed in place long ago. Action works but will not stay cocked. The Phoenix rifles are hard to find and are usually encountered in well used condition. This is example is better than most seen. RMA ANTIQUE

ENLISH EARLY 18TH CENT. FLINTLOCK BLUNDERBUSS

BARREL 20", MUZZLE DIAMETER 2". Heavy early 18th century English Blunderbuss. The firearm features one piece wood stock, brass hardware, and part octagon/ round iron barrel. Marked 'KS 271" on barrel flat. there is a crown proof under the iron flash pan. CONDITION: The Blunderbuss has original flint action that is tight and works well. The lock and barrel have smooth metal with a dark rich patina. The one piece stock has raised relief carving around the lock, sideplate, barrel tang and ram rod thimbles. The stock shows heavy use and has a stable crack under the lock. The forestock shows some professional restoration toward the muzzle. Overall this a very good example of a Blunderbuss that may date as early as 1720. RMA ANTIQUE

Marked 'KS 271" on barrel flat. there is a crown proof under the iron flash pan. CONDITION: The Blunderbuss has original flint action that is tight and works well. The lock and barrel have smooth metal with a dark rich patina. The one piece stock has raised relief carving around the lock, sideplate, barrel tang and ram rod thimbles. The stock shows heavy use and has a stable crack under the lock. The forestock shows some professional restoration toward the muzzle. Overall this a very good example of a Blunderbuss that may date as early as 1720. RMA ANTIQUE

The firearm features one piece stock, brass hardware, brass octagon/round barrel, spring loaded bayonet, and hammer safety on lock. CONDITION: Original flintlock action that works properly. Lock is marked "Richards" and hammer has fine engraving. Safety behind hammer does not move. Brass barrel has deep proofs on the left side of the breech. Brass hardware and barrel have pleasing mustard patina. The stock displays nicely There is a stable crack in front of sideplate, and under ram rod thimbles. BARREL 42' CALIBER .70, MFG 1809, Nice original 1795/1808 type III flintlock musket. The barrel marked 'P' eagle head and 'V' at the breech. The flat lock plate with point at rear marked '1809' and 'US' over a spread wing eagle and 'SPRINGFIELD' below the rounded pan. The tang of the buttplate has the matching "1809"date. CONDITION: The musket is in very good original condition. The flintlock is original and the action is crisp. The full length stock is nice with scattered impressions and wear. The metal has a gray patina with scattered areas of light pitting. Trigger guard is round at both ends that further denotes a Type III model. Stock is checkered at the wrist and is in nice condition with only minor wear. It has silver inlays on both sides, and 4 barrel wedges. The metal is smooth with a brown finish.
