SERIAL NUMBER: P985. BARREL: 4". CALIBER: 9MM LUGER. MANUFACTURED: 1930S. This is one of the ones rejected by the Luftwaffe and sold on the commercial market. "P" prefix, with Luftwaffe rejection star on the right side of the chamber. Left side plate is marked "Henrich Krieghoff/Waffenfabrik/Shul". Toggle is marked "KRIEGHOFF/SHUL" under an anchor logo. "crown/N" proofs throughout. No import marks found. Matching serials throughout. Blade front sight and u-notch rear. Period blue and straw finishes, with some areas having some touch up. Original brown plastic commercial grips. Includes an unmarked, period nickel body magazine with aluminum base. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% finish, with the straw finish being about 85%. Grips are excellent. Bore is bright, with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is excellent. JWA C&R

Grips have a light oil finish, and are marked with "M" proof on the inside of the left panel. Blade front sight and 200 meter adjustable rear. Arsenal blue and straw finishes. This is a late pre war/early wartime commercial gun that was lightly pushed into service by the Imperial German Army. Typical company markings on the chamber and right side of the frame. "crown/U" proof on the left side of the chamber. No imperial proofs on the right side of the chamber, but there is a faint one on the back strap. No import marks found. Matching serials throughout, including the 33 line wood grips. Standard barley corn front sight and 1000 meter rear tangent. Original rust blue and high polish blue parts. Grips have a light oil finish. Lanyard ring and stud are present. Includes original wood shoulder stock with matching iron. Also includes brown leather harness (dated "1917") and original clearing rod. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% finish with light wear. Grips have a few handling marks. Bore has a very lightly frosted surface. Rifling remains strong. Mechanically fine. Stock is excellent, with tight lock up/attachment. Leather harness has wear and crazing. Leather remains supple. Produced to use the rimless, groove less 6.5 mm Bergman cartridge but also has extractor for later cartridges. Minor monogram on left side with 2 piece grips with integral lanyard loop at butt. Straw finished small components. One of the earliest of all automatic pistols in very fine overall condition. CONDITION. Very fine with over 97% blue finish with bright finer bore and excellent checkered walnut grips. Action operates properly. Very fine overall. C&R

Drift adjustable front sight with slide adjustable rear sight with fine tuning screw. Toggle marked DWM in script and chamber dated 1917. Imperial proofs on upper frame. Lower frame marked "GERMANY " for export. CONDITION. Good as post WW1 refinished. with Blue finished Eagle inspected FXO37 WW2 magazine with black plastic base. Pistol was exported and was probably commercially refinished in Germany. All numbered parts are matching with exception of rear sight. Bore is fair with darkness in grooves. Action operates properly.
