SERIAL 36310. BARREL 5.5" CALIBER .45 ACP / 45 AUTO RIM. Early example. Gun is standard US issue blue finish, six shot fluted cylinder, case color hammer & trigger, fixed sights, smooth walnut grips and lanyard ring. Bottom of barrel has US stamp as does butt. Left side of frame has ordnance bomb and Springfield eagle head. Gun has seen only light use retaining 95% blue including straps. Near perfect bore & action. A really high condition and early war issue revolver. C&R

SERIAL 7836v. BARREL 3 7/8". CALIBER 9MM. Very scarce 1939 dated Luger with small Mauser banner on toggle. Chamber is stamped 1939. Crown "U" proof on left side. All matching numbers including walnut grips. Magazine is stamped 7741. Prussian eagle on right side frame. All blacked small parts. Condition. Muzzle shows light wear. Back strap shows most blue but does have some minor age freckles. Light high edge wear on side plate and shoulder slot. Overall blue remains a solid 96%. Grips are near mint. Bore is mirror bright. Extremely nice small banner Luger. C&R

DWM MODEL 1900 AMERICAN EAGLE TEST LUGER

SERIAL NUMBER: 6918 BARREL: 4 5/8" CALIBER: 30 LUGER MANUFACTURED: 1900's Being one of the first self-loading pistols the American market had been exposed to the DWM model 1900 American Eagle Luger was somewhat of international sensation. Sold by premier retailers nationwide with a production of 11,000 to 20,000 and a selected 1000 being purchased by the United States Government for testing and evaluation. Manufactured by DWM with a 4 - 3/4" barrel and chambered for the 7.65 Luger cartridge. Blue finish with script DWM on toggle and the United States eagle seal on chamber. Checkered walnut grips with grip safety. According to information from the US National Archives the known serial number range for US test Lugers was 6100-7100. This example serial number 6918 falls into the range and is NOT marked "GERMANY" as the commercially sold example were. No proof marks are found on the gun. These rare "TEST" Lugers are the first real consideration of self loading pistols for a major world power military sidearm. CONDITION: Very fine as expertly and masterfully restored. All blue finishes are as new as are the straw finished appointments. The markings are crisp and legible. Detailed disassembly finds the gun to be matching. Bore is slightly worn with strong rifling. Grips are original with rounded checkering points with a very small chip at safety lever. C&R

SERIAL 4176. BARREL 8". CALIBER 9MM. This Artillery Luger is from the 1914 series and made until 1918. Easily identified by long barrel, adjustable long range rear sight to 800 meters and cut for shoulder stock. The chamber is stamped 1917 and the Toggle is stamped DWM. Matching numbers on frame, barrel, rear sight base, front & rear toggles, extractor, bolt, side plate, take down lever, trigger and inside both checkered walnut grip panels. Gun retains approximately 90% original blue with few age freckles. Grips are in excellent condition. Bore is excellent. Wood base steel magazine is not numbered. Really sharp Artillery Model. C&R

RARE DWM MODEL 1906 ROYAL PORTUGUESE NAVY LUGER.

Lot # 5 (Sale Order: 5 of 592)      

SERIAL NUMBER: 69 BARREL: 4" CALIBER: 9MM MANUFACTURED: 1906 Manufactured for Portugal under contract for an estimated 1000 guns. Pattern 1906 with grip safety, 4" barrel, chambered for 9mm and produced without stock lug. Blue finish with straw appointments and checkered walnut grips. Script DWM on toggle with chamber marked with Royal Portuguese Navy crest. Left side of upper is proofed with the "MARINA PORTUGUESE" (MP) proof. Serial numbered 69 found on frame, barrel upper lower bolster, trigger, toggle, bolt, side plate and retainer. Grips safety is numbered "64" and is probably a factory error or armory mix. Extractor marked "CARREGADA". Magazine is nickel finished sheet metal with blank wood base. Grips are a contemporary replacement made exactly like the originals. CONDITION: Fair with finish being a mixture of blue and patina with light salt & pepper pitting from being exposed to the sea service elements. Bore is very good with sharp lands and grooves. Straw finish is 1/2 remaining with mixture of patina. Grips are excellent as previously mentioned. Survival of these firearms are very low with the highest recorded example being number 769 and the number of reported known examples is extremely low. C&R

Revolvers are finished in a black phosphate finish and built on the Official Police frame with 6 shot fluted cylinder and square butt and mounted with a pair of brown plastic Coltwood grips with cast Colt monograms. Barrel is marked " COLT COMMANDO 38 SPECIAL" and frame has simple US Bomb inspection on top left rear at back of top strap. CONDITION, Very fine with over 98% finish remaining, excellent bright chambers and bore. Action operates properly. Really and exceptional and rare WW2 revolver. C&R

The Navy marked Victory models were used extensively by aviators and boarding crews alike. These revolvers saw service from WW2 through the Vietnam era. Matching numbers are found on the butt, cylinder, underside of barrel and internally on the right grip. CONDITION: Extremely fine with only a trace of high point wear. SERIAL NUMBER: C3584 BARREL: 5" CALIBER: 38-200 ( 38 S&W ) MANUFACTURED: 1935 Metal is Blue finished with notch rear and blade front sights. Matching numbers on frame, barrel, and cylinder. Proof marked through out and R.A.F marked on right side of frame. The No2 MkI Revolver was the standard British Sidearm at the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939. It was the revolver that was used during the Battle of France and in the Battle of Britain and the War in the Desert. Most of these were later modified to No2 Mk1* configuration which removed the hammer spur and made them double action only. Finding an unaltered example is not easy. The Enfield Revolver was a very sturdy and serviceable side arm but it suffered from a low powered cartridge. Comes with 1945 dated R.A.F. canvas holster. CONDITION: Metal is 90% with bright bore.
