SERIAL NUMBER 465b BARREL 4 3/8" CALIBER 7.65 ACP MANUFACTURED CIRCA 1942-45. Produced in Herstal Belgium under German occupation for German and Axis use. Used extensively by the Luftwaffe. Blue finish with commercial FN markings on left side of slide. Serial numbered on frame , barrel, slide, and muzzle cap. Checkered black plastic grips with FN monogram at top. German WaA140 inspections on frame and slide and waffenampt on chamber. Single action striker fired blowback operation. CONDITION, Very fine with over 90% blue finish remaining with slight holster wear and finish wear at grip straps. Bore is very good and operates properly. C&R

Some later applied illegible writing is present as well, likely the name of the G.I. who brought it back. Includes capture papers stating this gun was captured in 1945. "eagle/N" and "eagle/37" proofs on the right heel of the frame and left side of the trigger guard respectively. No import marks found. Matching serials on the frame and slide. Standard sights and factory blued finish. Checkered left grip panel is original, with the right being a replacement. Includes two unmarked blued steel magazines and a period leather holster. CONDITION: Metal retains little to none of its finish, with signs of light cleaning. Grips have light scratches. Bore is clean overall, with very good rifling.
