SERIAL NUMBER 6 BARREL 3 1/4" CALIBER .32 PERCUSSION BLACKPOWDER MANUFACTURED CIRCA 1850. Delvigne manufactured and marketed by LePage of Paris. Unique and highly ornate single shot pistol with manual cocking lever and octagon iron barrel. The Gutta Percha grip assemble depicts a very stylized Mouse with a long tail that transcends into becoming the trigger, A loading rod is concealed into the butt of the Gutta Percha frame. The hammer is a grotesque mouse's head with the base of the barrel being its body. The top barrel flat is marked in script "DELVIGNE" These wonderful little pistols are a combination of mechanical art and curiosa. CONDITION, The gun is in excellent condition but the back of the grip under the mouse head is broken and missing.. The metal show some of the original blue finish but has mostly turned dark brown. The gun does operate properly. Truly unique and gothic. ANTIQUE

Serial #618. This is a type three Model number 4 made from 1912-1935. It is an over under top hinge derringer chambered for the .41 rim fire with 3" barrels. Condition: This gun retains 90% of the re-applied chrome finish with imitation mother of pearl grips. There is some handling marks and edge wear. The hinge has been repair at one time. Bores show some corrosion and very good rifling. Hammer locks up tight and action works properly. C&R

Most of these rifles and carbines ended up going overseas to the French for the Franco Prussian War. CONDITION, Good with excellent bright bore. Barrel has been cleaned of all markings and is missing rear sight. The receiver has moderate pitting and the Remington Tang markings are fine and legible the butt plate still has its US markings at heel. ANTIQUE
