(A) HIGHLY DESIRABLE CONE HAMMER MAUSER C96 SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL.

Lot # 1354 (Sale Order: 251 of 302)

Full or partial matching numbers observed on frame, hammer, sear arm, subframe (internally, just ahead of latch, instead of on rear), locking block lug, rear sight, firing pin assembly, firing pin locking block, locking lug, left side of follower, inside of floor plate, interior of trigger, and inside of grips. Notably, the firing pin and the firing pin retaining plate are the only mismatched pieces but they match each other at 13076. Blade front sight, 50-500 graduated V-notch rear sight (all numbers are horizontal) retained by pin. "WAFFENFABRIK / MAUSER / OBERNDORF A/N" over chamber, "(Crown) / (Crown) / U" proof on left offset flat, Oberndorf antler proof on right side of chamber. Subinspector proofs visible on flat underside of chamber, and several small gothic "M" proofs throughout, including internals. 23 groove walnut grips. Non-rotatable lanyard loop. Early push-down safety. No visible import mark. Rear strap cut for a stock lug, stock not present. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining the vast majority of the factory bluing, approximately 80-85%, with some silvering to high edges and flaking to brown visible in several areas, primarily to barrel, right side, and front side of magazine well. Some other associated handling marks, some of which have silvered, largest on left side of barrel. Small area of marks on left side of frame, just ahead of subframe lug, probably from improper attempts at disassembly. Stamps have nicely visible distension from application. Some spotting to parts that are in-the-white and/or polished. Trigger guard is polished with interior having flashes of straw visible. Grips are very good and appear to have had an extra layer of varnish applied. Mechanically fine, bore is excellent with strong rifling and some minor pitting in grooves. A nice example of an early gun. EMW Barrel Length: 5 - 1/2" Caliber/Bore: 7.63 Mauser FFL Status: Antique Manufacturer: Mauser Model: C96 Serial Number: 6320

(C) SCARCE DWM MODEL 1906 "(CROWN) / (ANCHOR)" PORTUGUESE NAVY CONTRACT LUGER WITH HOLSTER & MAGAZIN

Lot # 1356 (Sale Order: 253 of 302)

Model 1906 Luger manufactured by DWM under contract for the Portuguese Navy shortly before Portugal's monarchy was replaced with a Republic. The first 350 Model 1906 Luger produced and delivered by DWM bore a "(Crown) / (Anchor)" crest over the chamber area but were subsequently changed to "R.P. / (Anchor)" once the monarch of Portugal was disposed. This example bears the "(Crown) / (Anchor)" crest over the chamber area with a single Portuguese "MP" acceptance proof stamped on the left side of the receiver. Toggle bears the intertwined "DWM" monogram. Major metal components are rust blued, with some smaller components being strawed and nitre blued. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered walnut grips. The full serial number "139" is present on the frame and barrel, with the locking bolt, trigger, sideplate, receiver, breechblock, and front & rear toggles matching via the last 2 digits. Grips and magazine do not match. Firing pin is unnumbered. Pistol is accompanied by a Portuguese Model 1908 Army pattern brown leather holster containing its cleaning rod/oiler and pin punch tool as well as a 2-cell magazine pouch. CONDITION: Metal components retain good amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear, thinning, and oxidation overall, with the grip straps and safety exhibiting a dark grey patina. Strawed components have been reheated at one point in time, retaining the majority of their finish with the exception of the trigger, which retains a mostly dark grey patina. Barrel appears to be a later Portuguese replacement, exhibiting a bright bore with good rifling throughout. Grips show smoothing overall, with some scattered impressions and handling marks, but otherwise appear sturdy and serviceable. Holster is very good, showing moderate wear from use. Magazine pouch shows some age-related cracking and a few spots of crazing, with the rear showing some repaired stitching. A very nice example of a seldom encountered DWM Model 1906 Portuguese Navy contract Luger bearing the monarchy's crest. (C) EXTREMELY SCARCE, POSSIBLY ONE OF A KIND, WALTHER MODEL MP CONCEALED HAMMER PROTOTYPE SEMI-AUTOM

Lot # 1358 (Sale Order: 255 of 302)

Beginning research and early development in 1932, Walther patented its early concealed hammerless Model MP and AP designs in 1936 in hopes of securing a new German military contract. These prototypes are exceptionally scarce, with this example not appearing in any reference book that this cataloger has reviewed. This example exhibits key design elements from several of Walther's former designs and shows several features that were subsequently reused and/or modified in some capacity for the AP, HP, and P.38 pistols. This specimen is stamped with the Walther banner logo followed by "Waffenfabrik Walther, Zella-Mehlis (Thur)/ Walther's Patent Cal 9m/m" followed by "Mod. M P" on the left side of the slide, with the only other stamping present being its serial number "105" on the right side of the frame. The serial number "105" indicates that this specific example was the fifth variation of this pattern, and due to its 3-digit length, was intended for internal use. The majority of metal components are in-the-white, with some smaller components such as the front and rear sights, as well as the heel magazine release being blued, likely indicating that these pieces were utilized from earlier produced pistols. Features include a frame-mounted integral barrel with lightening cuts (reminiscent of the later AP and P.38 barrels), dovetailed inverted-V front sight, U-notch rear sight, PP/PPK pattern trigger guard (that functions identically for disassembly of the pistol), slide serrations with left side mounted safety lever, checkered slide stop lever, as well as smooth 2-piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Metal components exhibit age-related discoloration overall, with some areas of surface oxidation present on the frame and slide. Frame and slide bear some dings, scratches, and handling marks overall, which is to be expected from an unhardened prototype of this kind. Mirror bore, exhibiting some areas of light inactive oxidation as well as well-defined rifling throughout. Grips show some scattered handling marks and dings but are otherwise fine. This is a seldom encountered opportunity for one to acquire a Walther Model MP prototype pistol that exhibits some of the key design elements that were subsequently implemented in the final iteration of the iconic P.38 pistol, and is befitting of the most advanced collection. MLW Accessories: Hard case Barrel Length: 4 - 3/8" Caliber/Bore: 9mm Para FFL Status: Curio & Relic Manufacturer: Walther Model: MP Serial Number: 105

(C) EXCEPTIONALLY SCARCE AND MATCHING J.P. SAUER & SOHN "S/147" CODE "K" DATE K98 BOLT ACTION RIFLE.

Lot # 1359 (Sale Order: 256 of 302)

This is an extremely scarce example of a pre-adoption K98 rifle manufactured by J.P. Sauer & Sohn in 1934. It is estimated that only 10,000 of this variation by Sauer were manufactured, with this example being the highest recorded serial number to date and being listed as the highest serial number observed in "Backbone of the Wehrmacht, The German K98k Rifle, 1934-1945" by Richard D. Law. This example's receiver is appropriately blank over the chamber and is stamped with an early Weimar pattern "(Eagle) / 116" waffenamt, followed by 2 "(Eagle) / 114" waffenamts, as well as "S/147/K" on the right side, with a Weimar firing proof present on the left. Left side of barrel bears an additional firing proof and "(Eagle) / 114" waffenamt, with the right side exhibiting a "K" over 3 "(Eagle) / 49" waffenamts below the wood line. Right side of buttstock bears an "(Eagle) / H" Heer stamp above 2 "(Eagle) / WaA114" waffenamts, with additional waffenamts present on the bottom of the wrist and buttstock. Stock retains its rear barrel band spring, which is unique to this variation. Buttplate is stamped "R.F.V./ 1780", indicating issue to the Reichs Finanz Verwaltung (Reich Financial Administration). Metal components retain a wonderful deep blue finish, with the trigger retaining some spots of its original strawed finish. Stock and handguard are comprised of solid walnut. All numbers are matching, including the bolt assembly, stock (on the bottom of the butt and in the interior in the barrel channel), as well as the upper handguard. This example is accompanied by a printed article "The Sauer K98k" by Bob Jensen. CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original factory-applied blue finish, exhibiting some scattered areas of wear, as well as areas of light surface oxidation, with some small scattered spots of pitting overall. Buttplate and stock takedown disc exhibit brown oxidation overall. Bore exhibits dark oxidation within the grooves but otherwise retains well-defined rifling throughout. Stock shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with a small loss on the right side (just forward of the bolt assembly), but otherwise is sturdy and serviceable. An exceptionally scarce, all matching example, of an extremely early K98 variation, suitable for the discerning collector. (C) EXCEEDINGLY SCARCE & HIGH CONDITION GERMAN SCHLEGELMILCH M1896 EXPERIMENTAL BOLT ACTION RIFLE.

Lot # 1360 (Sale Order: 257 of 302)

M1896 experimental rifle designed by the chief armorer at the Spandau Arsenal, Louis Schlegelmilch. A limited quantity of the Schlegelmilch Model 1896 rifles were produced for the Germany Army (GPK) Small Bore Trials of 1896-1898 in hopes of securing a contract to replace the antiquated Gewehr Model 1888. These rifles were chambered for an experimental 6x58mm high velocity cartridge (which went on to be commercialized as 6mm Forster) and featured a unique and very distinct shrouded bolt that utilized a twin frontal lug design. The barrels are not threaded onto the receiver as was done traditionally but are instead dovetailed and pinned through the bottom, with additional support found in a steel cradle that is fitted into the stock. These rifles also feature a unique stripping/takedown feature, allowing for the entire action and barrel to be quickly removed from the stock. Major metal components are rust blued, with the bayonet lug, rear sight assembly, bolt assembly, and buttplate being in-the-white. The buttplate and rear sling swivel exhibit Imperial German crown proofs, with the underside of the barrel bearing a single Imperial German eagle proof, just to the rear of the "rollercoaster" Lange Vizier rear sight. Matching numbers are present on the receiver, stripper clip bridge, trigger group assembly, barrel, trigger guard/magazine housing assembly, trigger guard/magazine housing assembly takedown lever, floorplate, bolt assembly, bolt shroud, barrel bands, stock, stock cradle, as well as the upper handguard. Rear sight has a minimum setting of 300 meters, as compared to the minimum 400 meters on a standard Gewehr 98 sight, and is numbered "25" on the underside. Stock has been cut just to the rear of the rear barrel band and appears to have been glued back together. Accompanying this rifle is a scan of some notes mentioning that a Mr. Gaiser and Feederle have gone by train with five new rifles to be tested against the Schlegmilch rifle, a scan of a handwritten document from Paul Mauser's main representative, Franz Maroctty, congratulating Paul Mauser for doing well in the tests against the Schlegelmilch rifle, as well as scans of a blueprint titled "LOUIS SCHLEGELMILCH IN SPANDAU" above "Rifle cylinder lock, in which the latter (with the removal of the rifle case) slides on a rail". CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining the majority of their arsenal blue finish that show a pleasant brown patina overall, with some scattered storage handling marks, some light wear, as well as some spots of light surface oxidation. In-the-white components are very good, with the bolt handle and buttplate showing age-related discoloration overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined lands and grooves throughout. Stock shows some scattered impressions and minor marks from handling and storage but is otherwise fine. A very scarce and uniquely designed German experimental rifle utilized in the 1896-1898 Small Bore Trials for the discerning collector. (C) EXCEPTIONALLY SCARCE & SOUGHT AFTER CZECHOSLOVAKIAN MODEL ZH-29 SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE.

Lot # 1361 (Sale Order: 258 of 302)

One of the earliest Czech semi-automatic rifle designs, the ZH-29 was introduced in 1929 with hopes of securing foreign military contracts. Offered in a variety of calibers, many countries tested and/or fielded the ZH-29 in limited numbers, with the Chinese purchasing a combination of ZH-29 and ZH-32 rifles in very small numbers and with many examples being later captured by the occupying Japanese forces. The ZH-29 rifles are comprised of finely milled steel and exhibit a very distinct aluminum forend "block" with cooling fins as well as a unique offset bolt design that locks the bolt to the left side of the receiver, causing the breech and iron sights to be slightly offset to compensate. This example is stamped "CESKOSLOVENSKA ZBROJOVKA,/ AKCIOVA SPOLECNOST/ BRNO." on the left side of the receiver, with the serial number "10106" above "AUTOMATICKA PUSKA/ Z.H.2.9." and a small Czechoslovakian Eagle crest at the rear on the top of the receiver. Metal components are finely machined and exhibit a deep plum-toned finish overall. Wood furniture is comprised of a smooth pistol grip buttstock fitted with a stamped ribbed buttplate as well as a ventilated 2-piece forearm terminating in an aluminum handguard with cooling fins. Matching numbers are visible on the exterior of the upper receiver, interior of the lower receiver, bolt carrier, bolt, as well as on the bayonet lug. Accompanying this already extremely scarce and desirable rifle is a letter from the consignor stating that this rifle was given to them by their father-in-law Carlos Flores, who served as an anti-aircraft gunner on a Bofors 40mm anti-aircraft gun during World War II, and in the later part of the war served as an electrician with the U.S. Army. Carlos recalled that in 1945, he was part of the first wave of occupying troops in Japan. His unit was tasked with securing an arsenal in Tokyo, which he believed may have been the Kokura Arsenal. After entering the arsenal, Carlos and his unit found a "museum" that housed a large collection of various weapons and artifacts, of which many were of foreign manufacture. Carlos stated that the officers immediately began selecting items for their kitbags as "trophies", at which point Carlos grabbed this ZH-29 rifle, a Nambu pistol, a Type 38 Carbine, as well as a 14 bore "walking stick" shotgun. Concerned with the "legality" of securing these items, Carlos buried them in a canvas covering and later shipped them back to his home in Los Angeles, California. Included with this letter from the consignor is a photo of Carlos Flores with his "AA" patch clearly visible. CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original factory plum-colored finish, exhibiting some areas of light edge wear overall that lightly shows through to grey patina. Bolt and other in-the-white components show appropriate amounts of age-related discoloration. Aluminum handguard shows some light discoloration and some minor superficial handling marks but is otherwise fine. Bore is very bright, exhibiting some light oxidation, but otherwise retaining well defined lands and grooves throughout. Wood furniture exhibits some scattered marks and impressions from storage and handling but otherwise is very good. Buttplate shows a couple spots of cleaned oxidation as well as age-related discoloration overall. An already fine example of an extremely scarce and desirable Czech rifle that, paired with its provenance, makes for a potentially unique example of a ZH-29 rifle. MLW Barrel Length: 21 - 1/2" Caliber/Bore: 8mm Mauser FFL Status: Curio & Relic Manufacturer: Zbrojovka Brno Model: ZH-29 Paperwork: Consignor Letter & G.I. Photo Serial Number: 10106

(C) US TEST TRIALS SAVAGE MODEL 1907 SEMI-AUTOMATIC .45 ACP PISTOL, WITH SAVAGE LETTER SIGNED BY JOH

Lot # 1366 (Sale Order: 263 of 302)

These rare pistols were the finalist competitor against Colt in the 1911 handgun trials that ultimately spawned the long-lived Colt 1911. After some initial hiccups and pruning of the field, Colt and the Savage went head to head with the Colt ultimately winning due to better accuracy, reliability, and lower recoil (incidentally, Savage's heavier recoil also led to several parts breakages and malfunctions). This example is one of the examples that is recorded as being issued to Troop I, 3rd Cavalry Regiment stationed at Fort Wingate, New Mexico during the trials. After the trials, Savage bought back the vast majority of the guns, reblued them, and offered them commercially. This example is one of the commercial offerings with only remaining legend on rib simply reading "CAL .45" and rolled "SAVAGE ARMS CORP, UTICA, N.Y. U.S.A." offset rib. Matching serial numbers observed in the track on inside of slide, underside of breechblock, underside of rear sight/ejector, bottom of barrel ramp, and inside front lip of frame. Grips are numbered "195" inside of right scale and "71" inside of left, magazine marked "189" on bottom of spine, slide release marked "158". Other features include pinned front sight, safety marked "SAFE" horizontally and "FIRE" vertically, grip safety, magazine release on front strap, case colored trigger, 2-piece checkered walnut grips, and foldable lanyard loop. Accompanied by a letter from Savage indicating shipment from Savage's Utica plant to E.K. Tryon on August 31st, 1922. CONDITION: Very good, with the dull Tryon finish turning an even mixture of gunmetal grey and chocolate brown throughout. Barrel has even spotting, while frame mostly has spotting around grips. Some minor marks from handling and storage, most offensive on left side of slide. Case colors on trigger good, with a few spots of vibrancy, magazine release with only flashes and one large (relatively) spot of patination. Left grip very good, solid, right grip has a hairline crack measuring approximately 1 - 7/8" from bottom and a much smaller 3/8" crack at top. Magazine is very good, polished, with some striations and handling marks from polishing and very light spotting on left side. Mechanics are very good, grip safety does not work as it should, bore has heavily softened rifling and minor oxidation throughout. A desirable example of a very rare military firearm. (C) HISTORICALLY IMPORTANT COLT MODEL 1900 SIGHT SAFETY SENT TO ADMIRAL CHARLES O'NEAL FOR TESTING A

Lot # 1367 (Sale Order: 264 of 302)

This is a historically important Colt Model 1900 that Colt sent to Charles O'Neil on June 8th, 1900, for testing at the Naval Proving Grounds in Maryland. A Colt letter confirms shipment by serial number, and the pistol itself is discussed in depth on pgs. 37-38 of "U.S. Military Automatic Pistols, Volume 1" by Edward Scott Meadows. The gun was shipped to Admiral O'Neil on June 8th, and on June 20th the pistol was tested by Lieut. Joseph Strauss, whose report dated July 10th detailed the pistol and its operations including penetration tests at both 50 and 100 yards and accuracy tests. By July 24th, O'Neil was in communication with Colt regarding specifications of metal strength and spare parts diagrams to finalize the order. The order was eventually placed on September 5th, 1900 under Navy Requisition Order 28, for 250 pistols. Standard configuration with sight safety, half-moon front sight, right side of slide marked "AUTOMATIC COLT / CALIBRE 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS", left side with " "BROWNING'S PATENT" / PAT'D APRIL 20, 1897" and "COLT'S PATENT FIRE ARMS MFG. CO. / HARTFORD. CONN. U.S.A." and encircled rampant Colt at rear. Early rear cocking serrations on slide. Left side of slide with serial number. 2-piece grip scales. Nickeled magazine, which appears to be the same or a similar magazine visible inserted into the gun on page 37 of Meadows. CONDITION: Very good, retaining approximately 80%+ of the factory Colt bluing, with some handling marks and visible scratches from handling and use, including the trials. Some silvering to high edges and muzzle, with some bluing flaking to brown toning on frame. Strong evidence of case colors visible on sight safety and hammer. Dust cover has a few dings on right side that do not detract. Grip straps are essentially patina with some toning and flashes of blue. Right grip scale has an expertly repaired crack, approximately 1" from top that runs through grip, horizontally. Magazine is very good with flaking of nickel and spots of oxidation, primarily to left side. Mechanically operable, bore is very good with strong rifling and some minor frosting in grooves. The opportunity to purchase a firearm that is directly verifiable as being instrumental in a military contract, let alone being the trial gun to kick off the testing, is rare and should not be passed lightly. (C) PAIR OF COLT 1911 AND 1911A1 PISTOLS THAT BELONGED TO A FATHER-SON PAIR WHO BOTH ATTENDED WEST P

Lot # 1377 (Sale Order: 274 of 302)

This pair of 1911 and 1911A1 pistols belonged to Clifford Jones Sr. and his son, Clifford Jones Jr.. Clifford Sr. attended West Point in 1903 and graduated 27 of 93 before he was commissioned in the Artillery Corps, stationed at Fort Sam Houston, Fort Sill, and Vancouver Barracks before attending battery officers course, which he graduated from as a distinguished graduate. After graduating he served with 156th Coast Artillery Corps and the staff of the Commanding Officer, Artillery District of Portsmouth, before he returned to West Point in 1909 as an instructor. At West Point, Clifford taught in both the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Chemistry and Electricity, after which he commanded 75th Company Coast Artillery Corps, commissioned Battery Selfridge, and did several miscellaneous assignments up and down the West Coast. By 1917, he had been promoted to major and detailed to the General Staff Corps, and in February of 1918 reported for duty. He was appointed a colonel in September of that year, maintaining that position until he reverted to a Major in 1920. He received the Distinguished Service Medal for his time as part of the General Staff Corps, and was selected to attend the Army War College, from which he graduated in 1922. He continued to attend various schools and developed the Longitudinal Deviation Ruler, and married for a second time in 1929; his son from this marriage was Clifford Jr.. After his marriage, Clifford was sent to the Philippines as a G4 on the staff of the commander of the Philippine Department, where he also did inspection tours in China and Japan. In late 1932 he returned to the United States and stationed in Florida, where he was the Executive Officer and Commanding Officer of the Harbor Defenses of Pensacola at Fort Barrancas. He was promoted to Colonel in 1934 and became Officer In Charge and Chief of Staff of various installations before retiring January 31st, 1944. Clifford Sr's gun is a standard Colt 1911, and a Colt factory letter indicates that it was shipped to the Benicia Arsenal in Benicia, California, 1914, in a shipment of 800. Half-moon front sight, U-notch flat top rear sight, left side of slide with 2-line 2-block patent and address information with an uncircled rampant Colt at rear, right side with "MODEL OF 1911. U.S. ARMY"; serif font throughout. "H" stamped at top of firing pin retaining plate channel (non-serif). Barrel with "PH" marked to be read with muzzle horizontal. Top of frame with "H" stamped near disconnector hole, 12 o'clock, and "b" at 1 o'clock. Right side of frame with serial number, left side with "WGP" proof for Penfield. Left side of dust cover with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". Small parts comprise spurred hammer, relief mill cut slide release, thick tab safety with milled undercut, short M1911 grip safety, flat smooth mainspring housing with lanyard loop, long trigger. 2-tone magazine with lanyard loop. Truncated diamond walnut grips. Clifford Sr's gun is also accompanied by related accoutrements, including a pair of spurs and a belt rig with a double magazine pouched marked "G.M.C. / JEFF. 1921 / H.E.K." on rear, a holster marked "ROCK ISLAND / ARSENAL / 1914 / T.C.C.", and a Meyers sword hanger. Following in his father's footsteps, Clifford Jones Jr. also attended West Point, reporting in July of 1951 and graduating in 1955 as 214 of 470, commissioned in the artillery. At this time he was also presented with this 1911 by his father as the last son of the 1903 class (although Cliff notes that technically Douglas MacArthur's son was younger than him, Arthur chose a non-military career and did not attend West Point). Cliff attended Field Artillery Officer Basic at Fort Sill, before additionally attending Airborne, Ranger, and Jumpmaster schools. He was assigned to 663rd Field Artillery in Okinawa, before moving to Korea in February 1958. In 1970 he became aide-de-camp to Major General Verdi B. Barnes, and was promoted to Captain. He continued his studies, including a graduate study in guided missile engineering, and receiving an MS in Mechanical Engineering. He volunteered for assignment in Viet Nam, where he served in the artillery for the 4th Infantry Division in the Central Highlands just after Tet. When he returned in the US he continued serving with the artillery and continued with several posts, notably the Systems Coordinator for the development of the 155mm laser guided Cannon Launched Guided Projectile, Project Manager for Selected Ammunition, and Director of Armament Systems at the Arms Armament Research and Development command, before he retired in 1983. His gun, which he mentions several times by serial number, is a standard Government Model with appropriate rollmarks, and an added trigger shoe. Click here to see the full description.

Manufactured 1919. Half-moon front sight, U-notch flat top rear sight. Left side of slide with appropriate 3-line 2-block patent and address information with an encircled "REMINGTON / UMC" intercepting. Right side with "MODEL OF 1911 / U.S. ARMY CALIBER .45". "E" proof at above firing pin retaining plate channel, but it was struck slightly askew and looks like an "F", lacking a bottom leg. Barrel with "P" on hood, oriented to be read with muzzle up. Left side of dust cover marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". "E.E.C. and "(Eagle Head) / E28" near magazine release, with E28 slightly double stamped over the 8. Left side of trigger guard with "E" proof, right side with "20" subinspector. Small parts comprise checkered spurred hammer, thick tab safety, relief cut slide release, magazine relase. Short 1911 grip safety, flat smooth mainspring housing. Mainspring housing does not have the appropriate "E" proof and is a replacement, unclear if field or later. 2-tone magazine with "B" on lip for Barnes production (poorly stamped, resembles an R). CONDITION: Overall good. Cold blue has been applied in several areas throughout the frame, primarily to straps and dust cover, but some of the distension is still visible around "E.E.C" proof where original finish was left untouched. Slide retains much, approximately 3/4" of bluing with most noticeable losses on right side of slide. Given wear patterns, slide release, safety, and grip safety are replacements, but period. Grips are modern reproductions. Mechanically fine, bore has frosting throughout. A good representative example. EMW Barrel Length: 5" Caliber/Bore: .45 ACP FFL Status: Curio & Relic Manufacturer: Remington Model: 1911 Serial Number: 13794
