October of 1943 Production U.S. Springfield M1 Garand rifle with original buttstock cleaning kit and period correct sling. Rifle retains its November of 1943 barrel, meaning this rifle was most likely never arsenal rebuilt. Correct World War 2 "lock bar" rear sight, early gas plug and early trigger guard. All other parts including the stock indicate Springfield production. Stock also retains its original U.S. acceptance stamp on its pistol grip and a rack number "27" on the right side. CONDITION: Rifle is in overall very good condition. Metal retains 90% of its original finish. Stock is very good with minor handling dings and scratches. Bore retains a fair amount of rifling. Muzzle measures a 1, throat measures 1. Sling is in very good condition, as is the buttstock cleaning kit. Overall a great example of a World War 2 Springfield Garand. Lot consists of: (A) 1 of 297 made. Colt AR6320 with box, two 20 round magazines in total, web sling, and manual. According to the factory authentication letter, the AR6320 was one of 297 produced for Specialized Armament with this particular rifle being made in March of 2002. Features an A2 "birdcage" flash hider, Pencil-profile barrel, vertical front sight post gas block with bayonet lug, A2 carry handle-adjustable rear sight combination, "C" bolt carrier group, and a four position carbine stock. Upper is marked "A-1". CONDITION: Excellent overall with very few handling and storage marks, and almost all of the factory finish remaining. Bore is excellent with crisp rifling. Action locks tightly and works correctly. (B) Springfield M1A National Match with factory box, M14 operators manual, web sling and two magazines in total. Features a vented handguard, correct National Match front and rear sights, and factory glass bedding. (M) OHIO ORDNANCE WORKS BROWNING MODEL 1928 WATER COOLED SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE.

Originally manufactured as the Model 1917 for American military use, the Model 1928 variant was produced by Colt, who acquired the leftover Model 1917 machine gun parts from WWI and assembled "new" models for commercial sales both domestically and internationally. This example's semi-automatic receiver was manufactured by Ohio Ordnance Works. The right side of the receiver is marked "BROWNING WATER COOLED GUN/ SELF LOADING MODEL OF 1928/ U.S. CALIBER .30/ MFG'D BY OHIO ORDNANCE WORKS/ CHARDON, OHIO/ S/N - WC - 401". The bolt shows a "7.62" stamp on the top, indicating its conversion to 7.62x51mm NATO. It is recommended that a gunsmith validates the chamber and headspace before firing. Correct Model 1928 thumb safety on right side of the trigger. The Model 1928 is complete with a Colt commercial tripod with the original data disk with the number "766". CONDITION: Metal components retain bountiful amounts of reapplied parkerized finish, with brass components on the jacket and receiver turning a brown patina. Bore is bright and retains strong rifling throughout. Action is smooth and locks up tightly. Tripod retains the vast majority of reapplied paint and few small areas of wear and loss to the finish scattered all around. An exemplary specimen of a Colt Model 1928 machine gun, converted to semi-auto that would certainly make for fine addition to any enthusiast's collection. Originally designed by Russia during World War II, the SG-43 sought to replace many of the outdated M1910 Maxim machine guns still in use during WWII. After the war, many SG-43 machine guns were exported and licensed to several countries, this specimen being an example of a Polish manufactured Wz. 43 (SG-43). The receiver was cut and reassembled from a parts kit by Wise Lite Arms. The left side of the receiver reads "WISE LITE ARMS BOYD, TEXAS/ MOD. SA43/ CAL. 7.62x54r/ S.N. WLA29-5013". Top cover retains its original Polish markings including the manufacturers marking, caliber, model, year of manufacture, and former serial number. Complete with wheel mount, bipod, and ammo can filled with mummified belts. CONDITION: Metal components retain virtually all of the reapplied finish, showing minor cosmetic wear and marks from use. Welded areas are visible, but blend nicely. Bore is clean and bright, retaining strong rifling throughout. Action is smooth and locks up tightly. Wood spade grips show indentations and marks from use. Wheeled mounted retains majority of its reapplied green paint, showing small scattered areas of loss, and is completely functional. Standard production ac/45 Walther k.43 rifle, made in 1945. Matching numbers on bolt and receiver. The stock does not appear to be numbered. Eagle 359 inspectors marks on metal and left side of stock. Accompanying this gun is an original brown leather sling, 2 "awj" marked magazines, spare small parts (firing pin, firing pin extension, & bolt locking lug with pin) with original wrapping paper, original manual, cleaning kit in butt with additional small parts, and cleaning rod. Also with this gun is the original "Capture Paper" listing the gun as a "German automatic rifle" by serial number from the European Theater, in duplicate. Papers are dated 10th May, 1945. CONDITION: Gun retains 85% finish overall mixed with a pleasing patina. Some light surface rust. All markings in metal are clear. Laminated stock has dings and handling marks, markings are soft. Laminated wood hand guard has some cracks from age. Bore is good with strong rifling. Fine mechanical function. There is an old silver soldered repair to the safety lever at the rear of the receiver. Parts and accessories in like condition. Capture papers exhibit some foxing as well as creases from having been folded into quarters. Barrel is Inland marked, dated 1-44. Type 1 rear band. Type 3 trigger housing. Missing magazine. CONDITION: Retains 85% finish, having turned a pleasing patina in areas. Markings are clear. Fine bore with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Stock has some dings and handling marks. (B) Fine World War II IBM M1 Carbine with canvas sling, oiler, and magazine. Made between March and May of 1944. Barrel is marked "I.B.M CORP" and is correct with no bayonet lug. Early style flip up rear sight made by Quality Hardware, staked on either side of the dovetail and does not appear to have been replaced. Type 2 IBM front sight. Type 2 band. Correct Sprague and Carleton marked stock & hand guard, who was a contractor for IBM. Round bolt. Type 3 slide, "AOB" marked. IBM trigger housing and parts. Inland magazine. Lot consists of (A) Luxembourg contract FN-49 rifle with sling. Rifle has a crisp "AL" crest on the top of the receiver. Numbers match, but there is an extra "8081" number on the side plate of the receiver. Rifle does not appear to be import marked. Belgian proofs. Stock is not numbered, nor is the magazine. There is a "LB" acceptance stamp above the magazine well on the stock. Leather sling does not appear to be correct. CONDITION: Overall good. Metal retains 80% of its paint like finish, with light handling marks and wear in some areas. Stock is fair with numerous dings and scratches. The butt has a chunk missing under the buttplate. Handguard is loose. Bore is frosted with fair rifling left. Sling is good. (B) Egyptian contract FN-49 rifle. Crisp Egyptian crest on the top of the receiver. Numbers on the gun do not match. No visible import mark on the rifle. Belgian proofs. Stock is not numbered, but stock disc does show some Arabic writing. CONDITION: Overall good. Metal retains 70% of its original black paint finish, with generous wear and handling marks in areas. Stock is good with numerous dings and scratches. Bore is frosted, with worn rifling. A solid pair of FN-49's for your shooting collection. Numbers match, but there is an extra "8081" numbe...morer on the side plate of the receiver. Rifle does not appear to be import marked. Belgian proofs. Stock is not numbered, nor is the magazine. There is a "LB" acceptance stamp above the magazine well on the stock. Leather sling does not appear to be correct. CONDITION: Overall good. Metal retains 80% of its paint like finish, with light handling marks and wear in some areas. Stock is fair with numerous dings and scratches. The butt has a chunk missing under the buttplate. Handguard is loose. Bore is frosted with fair rifling left. Sling is good. (B) Egyptian contract FN-49 rifle. Crisp Egyptian crest on the top of the receiver. Numbers on the gun do not match. (C) SCARCE AND EARLY GRADE 1 LIGHTNING .410 BORE BROWNING SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN.

Lot # 3422 (Sale Order: 422 of 672)      

Made in 1960 this Grade 1 Lightning features 26 - 1/2" barrels with low profile matted ventilated top rib that has steel mid and front beads. Round nosed forend is checkered in point pattern with blued iron that has light border pattern. Blued action is engraved in standard Grade 1 pattern and marked "Lightning / Browning" on bottom. Gold plated single selective trigger, auto ejectors, and non-auto safety. Buttstock is in round knob/long tang configuration with honey and marble cake color and terminates with a Browning brand composition buttplate. Housed in a modern brown leatherette Browning case with faux fur interior. CONDITION: Excellent as partially restored. Barrels retain about all of a restored blue with an area of minor touch up near the second post. Action retains about all of what appears to be its original blued finish. Custom buttstock and forearm retain nearly all of their custom finish. Trigger guard and top lever retains about all of its restored blued finish. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are crisp. Case is excellent. A beautiful multi functional shotgun. This K-80 has four over and under 28 inch barrels: 12, 20, 28 and .410 barrels as well as a bonus single 12 gauge 34 " ported trap barrel. All barrels have raised flat top ribs with round mid and front bead sights. The 12 gauge over and under barrels are designated with 2 - 3/4" chambers as the sub gauge barrels all have 3" chambers. The 12 gauge trap barrel is stamped to have a 2 - 3/4" chamber. The brushed silver toned action has light floral scroll, manual safety, and a single selective trigger. Lovely straight figured walnut stock with an adjustable comb, well checkered pistol grip and a black ventilated Pachmayr rubber pad. Matching competition forend with Deeley release. Cyl. & Mod and has a low profile ventilated matted rib. Round nosed forend is checkered in point pattern with engraved coin finished release. Beautiful coin finished action signed "C. Baerten" on both sides with engraved in typical Diana pattern. Gold plated single selective trigger, auto ejectors, and non-auto safety. Richly figured butt with long tang trigger guard and flat knob grip checkered in point pattern and terminates with its original Browning hard rubber buttplate. Housed in an original Airways case, and factory letter confirms the gun as found. CONDITION: Extremely fine and near mint. Retains virtually all original finish to both wood and metal with only very minor handling marks. Appears test fired only. Case is excellent.
