Ribbed octagonal barrel with a half moon German silver front and a V notch rear sight. Silver plated brass frame. Tip up action with a 7-shot non-fluted cylinder. Smooth 2-piece varnished wood grips. CONDITION: Gun has no blue finish left and has turned a gunmetal gray. The frame retains the vast majority of the aftermarket silver plate. Dark bore with traces of the lands and groove. Grips are very nice and fit the gun well. Action works but is a little loose.

CAST IRON CANNON ON NAVAL CARRIAGE.

Lot # 1095      

Antique cast iron scale copy of Spanish garrison gun from the 1700s. Stepped style wheeled carriage has functional solid wood wheels and retains the elevation wedge. Tube measures 19 - 1/2" from knob to muzzle and has a 3/8" diameter bore with functioning touch hole. CONDITION. Iron surfaces of cannon show an overall dark patina with only the slightest rust neat the touch hole. Carriage shows typical light handling marks.
