Lifetime Collection of Antiques From The Meaker Family of Charlotte, North Carolina
Muscarelli Auction Company is excited to be handling the Lifetime Collection of Antiques of the Meaker Family of Charlotte, North Carolina. The family is downsizing and is sharing a life-time of collecting with potential buyers through our company. Their New England Colonial-Style home contained antiques and primitives, which both Mr. and Mrs. Meaker had enjoyed gathering through their years of collecting. The family’s style featured a deep love of the things of the by-gone era, including antiques and primitives, along with many painted and country décor items. This outstanding collection was assembled over years of antiquing by Mrs. Meaker, who attended antique shows and shops to decorate the family home, while Mr. Meaker contributed as a woodworker to create complements to his wife’s decorating style. Several pieces of furniture and many of the shelves were had made by this dutiful husband and craftsman.
