Tanzanite Is a very rare precious gemstone that is only found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Overall, the ring shows a total of 0.38 carats of diamonds with a round brilliant very good cut and quality, I-1 to I-2 clarity and G to I color. The ring comes with a GIA Certified laboratory AIG (American International Gemologists) report and appraisal which confirms the above information and gives a current value of $4,055.00. Henry Leman Lancaster Black Powder Trade Rifle

Lot # 19 (Sale Order: 19 of 742)

Included in this lot is a heavy barrel Henry Leman percussion trade rifle. Henry Leman was one of the most prolific American rifle makers. Leman completed his apprenticeship under Melchoir Fordney in 1831 and then worked for George Tyron before establishing his own shop in 1834. His shop manufactured large numbers of plain but high quality rifles and shotguns for the western trade for sale to settlers, fur traders, and Indians. His work bridged the gap between the ornate handmade rifles of the old master gunsmiths in the 18th century and early 19th century and the mass produced firearms that followed. Relatively few of his shop's firearms would have been heavy barrel rifles like this. The right side plate is marked "LEMAN LANCASTER PA". The top of the octagonal portion of the 20” barrel is marked but has been scratched out the legible portion reads “U.S.A.” The solid hardwood stock shows a gorgeous figure and is fit with a crescent metal butt stock. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
