1986 Manco Mini-Kar Valvoline Indy Car Replica Go-Kart
Lot # 001 (Sale Order: 1 of 167)
This exciting 1986 Manco Mini-Kar Valvoline Indy Car Replica Go-Kart is powered by a new Predator 212cc gasoline engine rated with 6.5hp. This go-kart was produced by Manco products of Fort Wayne, Indiana to resemble the Team Valvoline #6 car driven by Pancho Carter at the Indianapolis 500 in 1985. That car was powered by a ?stock block? Buick V6 and the car ran the fastest qualifying lap time at 212.583 mph. The factory original fiberglass body on this go-kart has a front and rear wing. It retains the factory original Royal Blue paint which was recently detailed to a glossy finish by the team at MS CLASSIC CARS. The factory decorated the front with a white, blue and red decal. The factory also decorated it with Valvoline, Coors Light, Galles Racing, Buick, Goodyear and number six decals. The previous owner added B&B Racing decals were is easily removable. The body and wings do have some minor imperfections from usage over the last 38 years. The staggered-diameter wheels were mounted with Kenda 4.10/3.50-4 front and Cheng Shin 12...6.00-6 rear tires. The surprisingly spacious cabin retains the factory original Manco 3-spoke steering wheel and black upholstered seat. The factory original black tubular steel frame is in excellent condition. This go-kart is powered by a new Predator 212cc gasoline engine that was installed by MS CLASSIC CARS in July of 2024. This engine has gas saving overhead valves for cooler, cleaner performance and longer life. The horizontal shaft is ball-bearing mounted making it an ideal replacement. The powerful gas engine features a durable cast iron cylinder and is rated with 6.5hp. This engine has user-friendly controls for easy starting and operation. The power is sent to the rear axle with a centrifugal clutch and chain drive. It?s equipped with a single drum brake on the rear axle. The S-Type was produced at Jaguar's Castle Bromwich facility in Birmingham, England. The car was styled by Geoff Lawson in 1995 and is based on the Jaguar DEW platform/Ford DEW platform, shared with the Lincoln LS and Ford Thunderbird.]It was unveiled at the Birmingham International Motor Show on 20 October 1998, and went on sale in January 1999. It was aimed at buyers of cars including the BMW 5 Series.
The first S-Types (1999?2002) are distinguished by a U-shaped center console. The traditional leaping jaguar bonnet mascot was optional and is approved by the US and EU standards and breaks away in the case of an accident, and has the Jaguar logo incorporated within the radiator grille and a more traditional 'looped' styling for the center console.

The decision to produce the Super Beetle was going to be a costly one. Never before had Volkswagen spent so much time or money on the Beetle. The new suspension design required a new chassis and every panel in the front end had to be redesigned as well. This meant new rounder fenders, a larger wider hood, redesigned front valance, a new spare tire well, changes to other areas of the body and new inner fenders to accommodate the mounting of the new struts. This would be the most costly and extensive revision of the Beetle since it was first launched.August 1970 the all-new sales brochure stated, ?And now the new VW 1302S. The 1600cc Super Beetle. The most powerful, most exciting and most comfortable Beetle ever.?

Having been part of the Bob Phelps collection, this coupe has much to offer, It is particularly well restored and presents itself very well. There are some Paint issues on the hood and front cowl, as seen in the pictures. It rides on period-correct wide white bias ply tires and the rear mounted spare is housed in a hard metal cover. The engine compartment is clean and the pristine passenger compartment has been treated to fresh tan LeBaron Bonney upholstery and door panels. Behind the clock-mounted glove box door is the original radio operator instruction manual. The coupe is a real treat to experience and will be appreciated by the new owner.

The current owner purchased this car in Florida on November 11 2011, and has been garaged in Maine ever since.
This Polara is believed to have been purchased in El Paso Texas in 1965, the history from then to 2011 is unknown.
The previous owner installed a 4-Bbl carburetor and in 2013 to 2015 the seller made some reconditioning and service repairs, the power brake booster was replaced, as well as the master cylinder, he also added adjusting valves for the two brake circuits. Also replaced at this time were two window motors and exhaust flanges and gaskets.
The seller states in 2018 there was more extensive reconditioning, A complete rewire of the car, vacuum climate controls were replaced with electric controls including a new attendant air filter, blower and heater, temp gauge, oil pressure and fuel gauge were professionally restored.
Other repairs included replacement horn button on the steering wheel, new Ac compressor, new Ac condenser, upgraded, upsized radiator capable of ?parade? duty, new rubber hoses, steering linkage, center glove box.

1971 MGB-GT Coupe

The fixed-roof MGB GT was introduced in October 1965. Production continued until 1980, although export to the US ceased in 1974. The MGB GT sported a greenhouse designed by Pininfarina and launched the sporty ?hatchback? style.
By combining the sloping rear window with the rear deck lid, the MGB GT offered the utility of a station wagon while retaining the style and shape of a coupe. This new configuration was a 2+2 design with a right-angled rear bench seat and far more luggage space than in the roadster. Relatively few components differed, although the MGB GT did receive different suspension springs and anti-roll bars and a different windscreen which was more easily and inexpensively serviceable. They are Continental extreme performance all-season tires. The AC is very cold and strong but the the temperature setting display has a couple of missing segments, and the electronic central display has some "Lit Pixels" - a dynamic condition. The turn signal stalk does not always return to center. The engine is strong, and the 5-speed Tiptronic is quick shifting in both automatic and manual modes. The OEM plastic gears for the top were replaced with metal gears, and all 4 hood struts are recently installed OEM replacements.
