Description
Part 1 of this auction features and online only offering of Bob and Mardi's personal collection. Load with amazing collectibles and antiques. Stay tuned for our next live and online auction coming soon.
Founded during the Masonville Gold Rush of 1896 the Masonville Mercantile has been a gathering place for 128 years! As the area changed the building was moved using horses and logs to the current location in the 1920’s. It operated as a general store well into the 1970’s. Bob Webb &family bought the store in 1972, Mardi Denny joined the family and the business in 1974. They continued the store and added a 3.2 Bar- “The Ville”. Many local folks have shared fond memories of that era. When the drinking age was raised to 21, 3.2 bars went out of style. In order to maintain the business, they responded to customer requests, and using Mardi’s great sense of “style”, vintage clothing and wedding attire were added. Bob used his skills to create the unique style of the mercantile property.
Both Bob and Mardi loved and collected all types of antiques.
