Marked on the rear neck inside “ckl62” for maker Eisenhuttenwerk AG, Thale Harz and size 62. Below that is the batch code, 2981. German WWII P38 Black Pebblegrain Leather Softshell ‘cxb/4’ Holster + Magazine w/ bringback history

Lot # 17b

This excellent, near mint Black Pebble Holster was manufactured by Joseph Moll, Goch. It has excellent stitching with honest wear and patina. Great for a 1943 or later pr...moreoduction P38. Included is (1) Original Walther Eagle/359 P38 Magazine in excellent, original condition. Holster marked inside flap C.W. 42012491 by the soldier who brought this holster back, Claude Whitney & his serial number. Will include a write-up and a few photos of past. Buyer will receive the entire printout of events, etc. Aprox. 60 pages |||| HISTORY (per consignor): Whitney enlisted in January of 1944 so he did his basic and probably some further training prior to being assigned to Service Battery of the 101st Field Artillery Battalion on 12 July, 1944. I believe he was a truck driver. His duty code shows as 2345. I'm not sure why the 2 is there but MOS 345 means he was a truck driver. I have included every mention of his name, every station where he was located and any record of events section included by the unit clerks. If you see a gap in time then none of these three things occurred. The same is true of the Humphrey summary which follows. Whitney joined the 101st Field Artillery from the Field Artillery Training Center at Fort Bragg. He was promoted to Private First Class on 17 August, 1944. He sailed overseas with the unit in August. They do not provide the name of the ship. He was promoted to Tech 5 on 10 January. On 4 June he was in the 114th Medical Battalion clearing station with a sprained ankle. He returned to the unit on 9 June. On 5 September he was promoted to Sergeant. On 8 October he was transferred to the 17 Replacement Depot to be transferred back to the USA. This is where the trail ends for him.

WWII 1945 Japanese Izawa Jyuko Type 99 7.7x58mm Last Ditch Bolt Action Rifle

Lot # 23f

S# 19253 | Mfg. by Izawa Jyuko Series 9 in 1945 | Partially ground mum with hints of the original chrysanthemum showing, which is a great look for historical purposes. Th...moreis is a last ditch rifle which means it was produced late in the war when these rifles were pushed into service and certain characteristics were done cheap and quick to get them up and running for battle. These characteristics include Wood buttplate, fixed rear peep hole sight, crude bolt, crude metal finish. Wood stock has a beautiful wood grain pattern |||| Condition: Good/last ditch. Excellent German WWI Mauser C96 “Red 9” Königsberg Schutzpolizei 1920 Issued Semi-Auto 9MM Pistol

Lot # 19

S#: 123508 all matching serials with matching serial stamped inside red 9 grips | This is a superb example of a hard to find German police issued 1920 Rework C96 Mauser t...morehat still has almost all of its original rework finish with fire blue bolt-stop and safety. Correctly shortened 4” barrel with strong rifling. Fixed sight instead of the tangent sight which personally I think is way better. Stamped “1920” on the opposite side of the receiver serial number meaning it was put back into service, and in this case with the Königsberg Schutzpolizei (municipal police) denoted by the unit marking on the grip strap “S.Kg.R.95.” |This particular specimen is a German contract “Red Nine” variant of the C96. The nickname “Red Nine” is a reference to the red colored number 9 on each grip panel indicating the gun was chambered for 9mm Luger rounds. These guns were developed during WWI because the German military wanted to chamber all its handguns to fire 9mm Luger rounds to avoid logistical issues. These guns were made between 1916-1918, and a number remained in service with the Reichswehr, Freikorps and various police formations during the turbulent Weimar-era (ca. 1919-1933). Many of the Red Nine C96s that remained in service after WWI had their barrels shortened and rear sights changed to fixed in order to conform to the punitive provisions of the Versailles Treaty. You hardly see actual Red 9 Pistols that haven’t been faked on the market, and even more rare for a 1920 rework police pistol at that. This is a must have for a serious German pistol collector, the investment potential here is not one to pass up! |||| Condition: Excellent. 98% original 1920 finish. Fire blued finish on safety and on top of bolt. Nice, crisp markings. Original grips are excellent with honest wear. Mechanically functions. Bore is good with nice rifling and some minor corrosion, nothing major.

Excellent Rare Late War WWII German Nazi FN BROWNING HI POWER “b block” 9MM Pistol w/ Bakelite Grips

Lot # 20a

S#: 29113b - all matching on frame, slide, and barrel. Marked with occupation German Nazi stamps “WaA140” and Eagle/swastika. This is the more rare and harder to find lat...moree war 1943/1944 variation “b block” production with the scarce brown Bakelite grips. Finding these late war pistols in this good of condition is quite scarce due to the fact the finish was of such poor quality when made and looked bad after minimal handling. Comes with (1) correct split tail magazine |||| Condition: Excellent. 98% blue finish with some holster/edge wear and minor freckling on left side. Right grip is excellent and solid. Left grip shows minor hairline crack in top right corner but still solid. Mechanically functions. Bore looks good with rifling and frosting in grooves.

Excellent Matching & Original French M1874 Gras Sword Bayonet by St. Etienne dated 1879

Lot # 24b

Hard-to-find condition and going to be hard to upgrade this one. It’s of the finest I’ve seen. Matching Serial No. FG82822 on bayonet and scabbard. These were very often ...morecut down or altered later on in their service life, but this one is completely untouched and original 20.625” blade, 25.5” overall length | This is a very nice early matching example of the long bladed bayonet for the French Fusil Modèle 1874 "Gras" Rifle, first developed as a cartridge conversion of their Chassepot Fusil modèle 1866 Needle Fire Rifle. Excellent Swedish M1896 Carl Gustafs Stads Produced Bayonet, Scabbard, and Frog

Lot # 24c

This is an excellent example M1896 Knife bayonet for use on the 6.5mm 1896 Swedish Mauser Rifle. Also used on the the M/1938 Short Rifle, and AG52b Ljungmann Self-loading...more rifle. Bayonet and scabbard are both marked with a “Crown/C” indicating manufacturer Carl Gustafs Stads Gevärsfaktori which is the less common production. Usually you encounter EJ AB. The bayonet and scabbard are not matching but they are not far from each other, and both have the same manufacturer. Leather frog is in excellent condition and bears the “3 Crown” stamping. Overall a very nice setup that presents well and would make a great accessory to your rifle.

Early Rare Excellent Japanese WWI Tokyo Type 38 6.5x55mm Bolt Action Cavalry Carbine with MUM

Lot # 23a

S#: 545039 | Has a perfect MUM that survived all these years | Correct 19.5" barrel for the short and more rare carbine variation | Manufactured by Koishikawa Arsenal (To...morekyo) 1906-1935 - This is believed to be an all matching rifle where armorer mixed up 545 for 515, which has been observed on many different Japanese guns. Seeing as every part with the exception of the magazine plate on this rifle matches the numbers 515. As you can see in the photos all parts stamped with 515 are bolt and all components (firing pin & knob), bolt release, rear sight, bayonet lug, inside the stock, inside the wood handguard, and trigger | This is a correct type 38 cavalry carbine with all the original characteristics including 19.5” barrel, and the shorter ladder sight. Carbines are much harder to come by than the full length rifle themselves, and to find one with the Chrysanthemum intact is even more rare |||| Condition: Excellent. 98% blue metal finish. Th...moreis assembly number has no relation to the serial number, only thing that matters is if they match each other, and they do. Intact MUM with just 2 strikes which not only shows history but still shows the original mum in all its glory | The Type 2 Paratrooper rifle is basically a take-down version of the Type 99 Arisaka rifle. It’s chambered in 7.7X 58mm Arisaka. There were only about 21,200 known to have been produced by Nagoya Arsenal in 1943, and this one is a little over half way through production.
