Barrel showing around 97% blue finish with muzzle tip wear and trigger guard is around 93% with edge wear. 50% fire blue finish on bolt switch. Wood stock is in mint condition with crisp cartouche stamps that appear to be untouched. Leather sling is excellent and pliable. Bore is excellent. Nice rifle here!

R. R. 8. 109 |||| Condition: Very good. 85% thinning blue finish with a brown appearance. Markings are clear. Wood stock has a nice appearance with a smooth sanded feel with some of the dings and battle wear still felt. Cartouches are still visible but slightly faint. Mechanically functions smoothly. Bore looks okay with good rifling and what looks like a few small rust spots or pitting.

WWII 1943 German Nazi Mauser K98 “byf 43” 8MM Bolt Action Rifle

Comes with an original time period non-serial matching wooden stock holster named to the soldier who brought this pistol back, carved into the right side of the stock/holster "Capt. Hugh Morehead Pinkerton - Provost Marshall A.F.G. 354th Infantry Regiment, 89th Division" | Promoted to Captain (Aug. 17th, 1917)/Put in for promotion (April 30th, 1919)/Promoted to Major (May 5th, 1919) | Provost Marshall is a title given to a person in charge of a group of Military Police (MP) | Check pictures for all documents related to Veteran. Buyer will receive a fully printed package with all documents | Also “9mm” is lightly carved into the top of wooden stock/holster | Leather harness and tool for the stock/holster is included |||| Condition: Excellent. 98% original blue finish with some muzzle tip and light edge wear in places. Fire blue finish safety switch, rear sight, bolt, sliding switch on right side, and trigger. The red inside the 9 on the grips are very faint due to the oil and grime over the years showing honest wear. Mechanically functions smoothly. Bore is excellent with nice rifling. MINT 1919 Austro-Hungarian Steyr-Pieper 6.35mm M1909 Pocket Pistol

S# 62612A, mfg. 1919 (First production year after the production halt in 1915 | This pocket pistol measures 4.92" overall length, comes with (1)6rd. Magazine and is chamb...moreered in 6.35mm(.25ACP) | This is the pocket version of the Steyr-Pieper M1908 pistol and was built to the patents of Nicolas Pieper of Liege, Belgium. This was an unusual blowback pistol with a tip-down barrel. The barrel was retained with a pivoting bolt and it was held by a thumb-latch barrel-locking mechanism. The recoil-spring rod ended in a hook engaging a lug on the slide, disengaging automatically when the breech was raised. This was a favorite pocket pistol for Austro-Hungarian Military officers and Police departments. Approx. 130,500 were manufactured by OEWG Steyr 1909-1915, after 1915 prouction was suspended, and then resumed from 1919-1933. This pistol features a high polish blue finish with fire blue small parts. The grips have the 'OWG' logo and 'STEYR'. |||| Condition: Excellent. This little pistol is a true beauty for being over 100 years old. Mint condition 98% Blue finish ,with a high percentage of the fire blue finish remaining on small parts. Mechanically functions smoothly. Bore is excellent.

S# 2279, mfg. 1943, s# 2279 also electro penciled on bolt | 25.5” Ported Muzzle barrel | Import marked lightly on barrel CAI ST ALB BT “M42 6.5x55 Sweden” | Comes with Le...moreather Sling, Cleaning Rod, and (1) 10rd. Detachable box magazine that can also be refilled in-place using standard Mauser-type stripper clips (2 clips per magazine). Has open sights, with front sight adjustable for windage, and the rear sight, adjustable for range from 100 to 700 meters by 100-meter intervals. Safety lever is located at the rear of the receiver, and is switched to the left for “fire” and to the right for “safe”. |||| History: Sweden’s first standard issue selfloading rifle. It is a direct gas impingement design, with a gas tube feeds pressurized gas directly against the bolt carrier. Locking is done with a tiling bolt similar to a FAL or Tokarev design. It was put into production in 1942, with only a one-year development period. It was the standard Swedish infantry rifle into the 1960s, when it was replaced with a licensed H&K G3 design. Since 1953 most of the Swedish rifles were modified to AG-42B pattern. The machinery and documentation then had been sold to Egypt, where the licensed copy of AG-42 was produced as 7.92mm Hakim rifle. |||| Condition: Excellent. 99% Finish. Antique 1895 German Pre-WWI Gewehr 88 S Commission Rifle by Spandau Arsenal

Lot # 272 (Sale Order: 300 of 375)      

S# 5799L, mfg. 1895 (antique) | Mismatched serial numbers | No import marks - 29.25” Barrel - Leather sling | These rifles were originally chambered for 7.92mm Patrone 88...more ammunition and had a fixed magazine. As with virtually all Gewehr 88 rifles in service, this example has the "notch" cut into the rear of the receiver ring to accept the slightly longer spitzer-type S Patrone cartridge. This indicates that it was converted to take the 7.92×57mm Mauser S Patrone, and has an S stamped above the chamber, indicating the conversion. |||| Condition: War Relic condition: Darkened Rust Patina finish. Barrel shows some rusted hole damage right side. Wood stock is good and solid with nice battle patina and markings. Action seems to function correctly. Bore is clogged.
