1) Original PU scope manufactured at Factory #237 from an SVT-40 scope tube. Top elevation turret is marked "CB" indicating manufacture for the 91/30 Mosin Nagant. Scope ...moreserial number is "4316843", which is electro-penciled on the receiver mount above "PC1991". Scope retains an original leather covers, with original arsenal preservative paper. CONDITION: very good overall with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some mild wear and handling marks. Optic retains a clear and sharp image. Leather scope cover is very good overall. 2) Reproduction 91/30 PU scope. Blued finish with brown leather scope covers. Scope mount appears to be period. There is also a lengthy German inscription on this side. The canteen has a metal cap/cup with an eagle finial. There is a twisted 3-color suspension cord around the canteen. CONDITION: canteen shows light wear with minor areas of paint loss. The twisted cord is quite dirty and lightly faded. 2) A tin covered glass canteen with a spray of arms on one side with the inscription "Reservist. Res Tolle Comp. Inftr. Rgt. No97." with surrounding wreath. The opposite side has a scene depicting soldiers on guard near a railway station. The canteen has a metal cap/cup. There is a twisted 3-color suspension cord around the canteen. CONDITION: canteen shows light wear with very minor fading to the paint. The twisted cord remains bright. 3) A tin covered glass canteen with a cutout heart in the center of one side showing various scenes of Naval life on shore with 2 ships represented. Upon looking through the heart, you view a sailor greeting his wife. The opposite side has a Naval battle flag, a small picture of an officer, and a small image of a ship, along with arms and a German inscription. The canteen has a metal cap/cup. There is a twisted 3-color suspension cord around the canteen. There appears to be a section of cap tally that reads "HAMBURG" sewn to the suspension cord. 1) A tin covered glass canteen with a cutout heart in the center of one side showing two soldiers shaking hands over the heart with a lengthy German inscription below. The opposite side has a uniform button for the 7th company with the soldier's name and a large "29" for the 29th Regiment. There is also a lengthy German inscription on this side. The canteen has a pewter cap/cup with an eagle finial. There is a twisted 3-color suspension cord around the canteen. CONDITION: canteen shows light wear with minor areas of paint loss. The twisted cord is quite faded. 2) A tin covered glass canteen with a cutout heart in the center of one side showing a spray of arms with surrounding wreath. INTERESTING 34 STAR US FLAG.

Lot # 1273 (Sale Order: 275 of 526)      

78" x 44" light printed cotton, with 2 additional hand sewn stars, hoist is machine sewn with 3 hand whipped grommets. Hoist has sewn cloth tag with inked name "L. T. How...moreard, Boston". Flag was printed 36 star flag originally as remnants of row of stars still present where folded over when hoist was sewn. Same stitching is found on repairs of flag and the 2 added stars. Not sure of its potential history, but a pleasing 19th century American flag. CONDITION: good overall, light fading, has been flown with stitched repairs, presents well. (02-19839/JS). $700-900.
