Smooth walnut matching numbered grips plus lanyard swivel in butt. Numbered within range of Victory Models that were for US Military use. Most were Black Magic finished. CONDITION: good to very good appearance with light marks and high edge wear. Finish appears refinished to parkerized. Good grips with numerous light marks. Fine mechanics and near excellent bore. CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining the majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some mild wear and thinning that is mainly present on the slide extension that shows through to gray patina. Left side of slide ...moreis stamped "P.38" followed by the manufacturer and year code "byf/ 43", as well as the serial number, with the right side bearing an (Eagle)/135 waffenamt on either side of an eagle firing proof. Metal components exhibit a blued finish, with the frame being mounted with 2 piece grooved brown pressed resin grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame, slide, barrel and locking block. MAGS: 1 8 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Post-war brown leather holster stamped "Wunderlich/ Berlin/ 1963". CONDITION: very good overall, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some mild wear, thinning, as well as a couple scattered spots of cleaned pitting. Very bright bore, exhibiting mild oxidation on the lands, but otherwise retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise are very good. Holster exhibits moderate overall wear, with some age related cracking and light crazing. "1916" date o...morever chamber with DWM arsenal proofs on right side of receiver. Intertwined "DWM" monogram on toggle. Hold Open latch is not present. Right grip screw is an improper replacement. Matching numbers are present on the takedown lever, trigger, trigger bar, breechblock, extractor, firing pin, and toggles. MAGS: 1 unmarked wood bottom 8 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: reproduction wood flat board stock with reproduction holster. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to silvering, as well as some spots of pitting that is present beneath the finish. Bore is bright, exhibiting what appears to be some spots of hardened grease and retaining good rifling throughout. Grips show some smoothing, but are otherwise fine. Reproduction stock and holster exhibit some scattered superficial marks from handling and storage, but are otherwise fine. (23-1884/MLW). CURIO. $800-1,200.

HOLSTER. Cal. 7.65x21mm Parabellum. S# 1497m. Bbl 3 3/4". Model 1920 Commercial Luger manufactured by DWM after the conclusion of World War I from both new and surplus pa...morerts and components. Toggle bears the intertwined "DWM" monogram, with Crown/N commercial nitro proofs present on the left side of the receiver and underside of the barrel. Front of frame is stamped "GERMANY" between the serial number and serial number suffix. Major metal components are blued, with some smaller components being strawed or nitre blued. Frame is mounted with 2 piece checkered wood grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame, barrel, and on the underside of the receiver on the lug. MAGS: 2 wood bottom 8 rd. 1 black plastic bottom 8 rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: rare brown leather holster stamped "N. Burghand/ PASING" above an "AWM/2" "Artillerie Werkstatten Munchen 2" (Artillery Workshop in Munich 2) on the rear, with a ink stamped boxed "2FsAR" (2nd Foot Artillery Regiment) unit mark on the interior of the closure flap. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their period blue finish, exhibiting some mild areas of wear, as well as a few spots of pitting beneath the finish, mainly present on the receiver. Mirror bore, exhibiting some spots of pitting and good rifling throughout. Grips show some mild smoothing and a few scattered handling marks, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. Holster remains malleable and exhibits scattered marks from handling and storage overall, with some spots of minor crazing. Closure strap flap exhibits age related cracking and crazing and should be handling with care. (23-2464/MLW). CURIO. $800-1,200.
